A cute brunch spot on Solano with a menu that makes you want to come back and try more. Went today with Face for breakfast after wanting to try this place since Monday. Luckily there was no line and we were seated immediately. I ordered the Carb Platter, which came with French toast, a croffle, waffle, fruit, berries, a creamy dipping sauce, and a side of bacon. The French toast was definitely the standout for me -- really flavorful and well done. The waffle had a nice crisp texture, and the croffle was buttery with good flavor as well. The bacon unfortunately missed the mark. It was very limp and chewy instead of crispy, almost like it had been boiled rather than cooked properly. Face ordered the California Omelette, which came with potatoes topped with a garlic pesto situation that was honestly really good. For drinks, I had the caramel latte, which was decent but could've used a little more sweetness. Face ordered the strawberry matcha latte, which had an adorable bear-shaped matcha ice cube on top -- super cute presentation -- though she also felt it could've used a bit more strawberry flavor and sweetness. Overall, definitely a place I'd come back to because there were several other things on the menu I'd like to try. Street parking only and metered, so plan ahead a little. Also realized this is where the old pastrami spot used to be -- RIP

Adorable dishes that cater to a variety of palates. This was my second visit but first with teens who enjoyed the Hawaii ish aesthetic. Prices are reasonable for good sized portions. One note would be to separate the meat element from some of the lunch options and make it an add on (chicken in the salad for example) to give vegetarians more options. It gets busy!

We came on a random afternoon - and got lucky with a table right away! Almost immediately after, the place started filling up. Definitely a great new addition to the community. Staff was kind, prompt. Checked on us appropriately without being intrusive and vice versa. Plenty of parking including meter and street. Portions are HUGE! The star of the show was the carb sampler (and the side of potatoes dare i say). And don't skip out on the coffee/ other drinks. Otherwise, definitely a good (but not amazing) brunch. Still would come back. Plenty of space to catch up with a friend. Clean.

I went here with a party of 4 and it was very packed but I will say that they got us in fairly quickly. It's a tiny little spot but be warned there is a bit of stairs to get to the entrance but overall a lovely spot .. it does get crowded but that's because of how fantastic the food was. I got the chicken and waffles and it was amazing for sure my one of my friends I shared with got a breakfast burrito and that was great too I will say the Carmel espresso was very strong but that could be just me .. I will be back!!

I asked the waitress, "is it too early to order spam fried rice?" Nope, let's order it! This little eatery on Solano offers nice breakfast dishes with dome Asian influences on the menu. My spam fried rice was huge with two beautiful fried eggs on top. I needed to crunch up the nori pieces to add some flavor to my liking. Hubby ordered coffee and the two eggs medium with bacon breakfast. The bacon wasn't crispy, wondering if we needed to ask for "crispy." I enjoyed the restaurant with its wall mural of San Francisco where there is possibly another O2 Eatery? It was a pleasant breakfast but I wonder if there might be more bold tastes on the menu? Is the food mildly flavored because of the nice neighborhood it is located in? I will go again to try something else and see if I can answer my own question.

A solid breakfast/brunch choice on Solano Ave with a lot of seating suitable for small and big groups. There's only street parking so you might have to circle a few times to find a spot. We waited about 15min to be seated. The Garden Scramble and Meat Lovers' Scramble both came with an Acme toast slice and very well seasoned potatoes that had a green sauce that gave them a perfect touch. We didn't like that the avocado in the Garden Scramble was mixed in the scramble instead of put as a topping. The Meat Lovers' Scramble was our favorite for a good balance of meats and veggies, which didn't make it too heavy of a dish. The Spam Fried Rice was also one of our favorites! The sweet potatoes and spam was not a combo we knew we needed in our fried rice but it was delicious! The eggs over it and seaweed on the side brought it all together. We finished with the Carb Sampler. A sample of their French toast, waffle, and croffle topped with fruit and a house made whipped cream. The French toast was the winner of the three for its fluffiness. We didn't think the grapes on the croffle was a good combo, but the croffle itself was really good. Although the staff was really nice, the service was lacking all around. We saw a lot of people around us also trying to flag down a server. We waited some time to get utensils at the beginning of our meal and then again at the end to get our bill. They only checked on us once so they weren't as attentive.

This is our family's favorite brunch spot since we first went last fall. The quality of food is very good and the presentation is exceptional. They really go out of their way to make their food beautiful. The iced matcha has these little molded ice bears in them, many of the dishes have edible flowers on them, and they have cute interesting details in their dishware/cutlery.

Order: 1 Garden Scramble 1 Chicken and Waffle Croissant 1 Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk Visited this place for the first time on 2/27/26, and the food was phenomenal! I was beyond pleased with the quality and taste of everything. It has quickly become one of my top favorite breakfast spots. Their menu offers so many options beyond just breakfast, which I absolutely love. The variety makes it easy to want to come back and try something new each time. As we walked in, a man said, "The food was amazing," and it definitely lived up to his comment. The service was great. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. The ambiance is nice, though seating is limited indoors and there's no outdoor seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty full, but we didn't have to wait for a table. The art and decorations are beautiful, and the women's restroom was clean. Parking was definitely a challenge on a Friday at 12 PM since the area is busy overall. There's no designated customer parking--only street parking that you must pay for. We were able to find a spot after looping around a couple of times. 10/10 -- I strongly recommend this amazing breakfast/brunch spot! I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

Nice place for a lunch if your out strolling Solano Ave. Ambiance: 4/5 Nice, modern ambiance in here. Not a huge dining area, but it has a nice vibe. Food: 5/5 I really enjoyed my food. I got a breakfast sandwich and my wife got the veggie scramble. The food was really good and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Price: 3/5 The price was fairly average restaurant price for the area. Not great, not bad. Customer Service: 2.3-3/5 The servers were all very nice, they just got some things wrong and forgot some things. My father-in-law ordered over medium eggs and they brought out scrambled, then we ordered coffee and they didn't bring out any cream or sugar (or even ask if we wanted any) and they didn't come around much to fill up the water jug. It was average busy, not really busy. They definitely need to tighten those things up. Parking: 2/5 It's parking on Solano, so it's going to depend on the day how easy it will be to find parking. And it's paid parking on the street, so don't forget to pay the meter.

My partner and I were in Oakland visiting, we came here for brunch. Although it was pretty busy/packed inside, we were seated right away. For drinks, he got the Strawberry Matcha and I ordered the caramel latte. Thought it was going to come cold, but the waiter also didn't ask. My partner liked his matcha drink, we thought the bear was a cute touch. My latte was alright. For food, we ordered the carb sampler so we got a mix of french toast, waffle, croissants. Also ordered the scramble. I liked the savory dish more, but there wasn't a lot of flavors going on for both the sampler and the scramble. We both thought it was pretty mid. Felt like we could make the food at home. Looks yummy but missing flavors. Tasted pretty bland.

Come early because this place has a line out the door! If you want table seating, the entire party must be present. We ordered the ABC Panini and Beef Teriyaki and I'd say it's a pretty well portioned and priced meal. Service was great as well. Parking is easy to find so I definitely would come back!

This is a hidden gem. Breakfast is great, food is fresh, and staff are friendly. Tucked away a bit so you don't notice unless you're looking for it. But to those that do try find a great place to have breakfast. Death scrolling breakfast places today that are all over compensating with stuff on a plate to jack up the price, or too look better (when did chicken and waffles become the staple everywhere for breakfast)??? O2 Eatery is a breath of fresh Air! Simple, to the point and great food and Ingredients. Simple like eggs scrambled soft...just impossible for most spot, but here perfect. Breakfast potatoes that are actually crispy each one. Then toast perfectly buttered, along with QUALITY bacon, that In most places is bought by the cheapest purveyors. Not here at all. Check this place out if you want quality without the fuss of overpriced plate garnish. Also...Latte....big cup, brewed right. Made my whole Sunday great to just have exactly what I wanted. Brunch in the Bay Area can be a bit of a splurge, but 02 Eatery is one of those rare neighborhood gems where you feel like you're getting more than your money's worth. The fresh veggies, vibrant fruits, and delicious dishes like the "Croffle" and smoked salmon avocado toast are just the start. Food was nice and filling, but my god. Don't go here if you're hangry because we were waiting for a ridiculous amount of time for our food. My family and I went for Sunday brunch and all of us were so annoyed after over half an hour of just waiting after having our orders taken. My aunt and brother ordered the same chocolate milk drink, and they still only brought one out for my brother and completely forgot about my aunt. Nevermind that the drink itself was nothing special. I can totally commiserate with being a busy brunch place on a Sunday morning, and maybe this was just an off-day, but maybe hire some more people? I will say, their side of potatoes was lowkey life changing. The skin on the outside was crispy but the inside was perfectly soft. Don't know how they did it but I'll give them their flowers for those potatoes. If I happen to be in the area again, I may just consider giving them another shot just for those potatoes read more

Our go to brunch spot. Food is fresh and flavorful, not to heavy and greasy. I love that they serve side salads with most dishes. Drinks are so good. the coconut sesame latte and strawberry matcha are my favorite. Ambience is nice, staff is friendly and attentive. We are thrilled they're open for lunch and will be checking them out later today for the lunch menu (but I may still get my brunch items it's so good). read more

10/14/24 Today was my first time dining here. I'd found the restaurant on Yelp and was intrigued!! Oh My Gawd!! The most delicious breakfast I've ever had! I had the Smokey bacon and smoked salmon eggs Benedict- incredibly generous and mouth watering. The Yukon gold potatoes were puffy and light w a hint of garlic and herbs. The eggs were big round mounds & were perfectly cooked. The mixed greens were fresh and a nice touch. I could only eat half the dish and will savor the rest at home. The cappuccino was beautiful and creamy. Yum yum yum! Get yourselves here and support this wonderful new (2 months ) restaurant!! read more

Breakfast with my daughter. We ordered the carb sampler (trio) on the mobile app because it was close to nap time. The order said ready in 35 minutes thankfully it was ready in 15 minutes. They offered us to go silverware and syrup with only 1 napkin for a toddler we made do. I enjoyed the croffle the best. A buttery, flakey croissant covered with A Chantilly cream and fruit. My daughter loved the brioche French toast soft and gooey with a cream and fruit. All the fruit was extra fresh. Unfortunately, there was nothing special about the waffle. It was crispy and cold. Yikes. Definitely a place to try, maybe skip the waffle. Very nice place for a quiet brunch. Plenty of seating room and calm vibe. read more

Came on Sunday around 10am. Clearly this place isn't staffed enough to handle how busy it gets. I got the avocado toast with bacon and it was basic (sourdough, egg, bacon and sliced avocado), my partner got the banana waffles, again nothing out of the ordinary. The waiters are under a lot of stress so I don't blame them for flying past tables and ignoring us and other customers. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place and we definitely won't be back. read more

The food is great. Excellent Benedict, Avocado toast, French toast. Surprisingly the burger is great. This is my favorite burger. Barney's is #2 now. Two sisters own the place. Service is always good. Great sit-down restaurant. They have a talent for making the food look beautiful. They just started dinner which I look forward to trying. read more

Update to my original review. The food is still very good with generous portions. I love that it's family run, but unfortunately on Sundays, which is their very busy day, they need to hire either another person, or hire a professional wait person. I don't mind waiting 20 minutes for my meal, but I do think that the current Sunday employees need to be more efficient or at least more mindful. Lots of wasteful steps and mistakes. Plus, not to be mean but one of their Sunday servers has hair falling out all over her face, and it's not fun to watch. Pull your hair in one ponytail please! (Like the other female employees do). read more

Inviting and chill atmosphere. I went in around 9 am on a Wednesday and there were probably 5-6 tables occupied. I was greeted quickly and told to pick any open spot. The whole menu sounds great, but I finally landed on the California Omelet since it comes with potatoes that had been mentioned in another positive review. WOW! THE POTATOES! The omelet did not skimp on fillings, was cooked nicely--not overdone--and the avocado was thin sliced and perfectly ripe. Acme toast was great--warm and crispy. Not sure if it is homemade or not, but the berry jam was excellent as well. BUT WOW, again THOSE POTATOES! They were the shining star! Hot, crispy on the outside, buttery soft on the inside and topped with a delectable, savory, garlicky garnish! Holy smokes--I will dream of those potatoes tonight. read more

This is a great neighborhood spot! You can tell by the buzz around the dining area that this is becoming a local community favorite, and it's a great place to catch up with friends and family. Service is very friendly, and they double checked on us to make sure we got our drink order just right. We got the strawberry matcha iced latte and the coconut/black sesame drink. They used a fresh strawberry puree which added just the right amount of sweetness. The coconut/black sesame drink was delicious with a nice nutty flavor. Big portions with awesome quality of ingredients! All of the avocados are fresh, unsmashed, and at the perfect ripeness. We got the salmon benny, the avocado toast, and the meat lovers scramble. There was a good amount of salad on the side for the salmon benny and the potatoes were crispy and soft on the inside. They use acme bread for the avocado toast. They give ample greens with their dishes. Liked their eggs Benedict & the Chicken Waffle was ok, the chicken was cooked well. For me, i just needed seasoning. So salt and tabasco was there to do the trick. Was excited that croffle was on the menu. I expected that waffle/butter croissant but their version is 2 pieces of croissant pressed in a waffle machine. This is a clean restaurant. And prices are decent. Be mindful of those pesky parking meters. I was able to leave right before a ticket was printed. read more

Terrible customer service. Called ahead because we had a group of 6, with 2 elderly people. To my pleasant surprise on a Saturday morning, they said "no problem" and asked my name and when we could be here. I told them about 20-30 min. No issue, see you soon. We get there well within the timeframe and they tell us another party do 6 came and they had to seat them because they don't take reservations. I told her that's why we called ahead and that she didn't mention anything about this during our call. She admitted it was her fault, but offered no resolution or other options. Never going back to this place and I'd recommend people choose to support other businesses in the area. Preferably ones that are honest and follow through on what they tell you. read more

Hubby and I tried to give a shot of this place for our Sunday brunch as we've been seeing this restaurant for awhile on Solano Ave. We absolutely love all three dishes we had. Avocado toast is one of their popular dish with salad. Chicken waffles is so good too. The waffles and chicken are crispy. One of the best chicken waffles we've ever tried. Love love love that house potatos. It's is crispy and nicely seasoned with homemade pesto sauce. The price point is reasonable and we will definitely go back again. read more

Mellow vibe in here, super clean inside. Surprisingly not busy on a Saturday early afternoon at prime brunch time. A bit unassuming and very easy to walk past on Solano. Solid breakfast options. We went here for Mother's Day to check it out. GOOD food, BAD service. We were there for almost an hour until our food came (we ordered one plate). During that time they didn't check on us once or let us know there was a delay in the kitchen. When our ACP sandwich arrived, it did not disappoint. I just don't think it should have taken that long in an empty restaurant. Go if you have a free day and are looking for food. Don't go if you're trying to get a lunch that takes under 2 hours. read more

Another new place that I wanted to try for brunch/lunch. I came here with my mom and we were seated immediately. Parking was okay we found some street parking less than 1 block away. They do have some korean influences to some dishes. I ended up getting their egg benedict and it was very filling. Service was good and coffee is free when we went. Overall, enjoyed my time there. Great new brunch spot on Solano. Took my two kids here today and we ordered one carb sampler and an egg breakfast with bacon. The carb sampler was delicious and really aesthetically pleasing with cream, fresh fruit, and a flower on top. Egg breakfast was excellent. Potatoes were really crispy, bacon was solid, and toast was nicely done. I also got a green milk tea which was surprisingly good. However, the flavors of the Muffins were lacking a bit--the Red Velvet didn't stand out much, with the frosting tasting a bit too sweet, and while the Five Spice had a really interesting flavor, it was also a bit too sweet, drowning out the more unique citrusy flavor. Overall, however, all four of the goods we had were enjoyable eats, and would definitely return some time to try out other flavors!

It would not have taken much effort to accept one last order from a loyal couple with a newborn--especially since nobody else was waiting behind us. In the end, Standard Fare is closing exactly as it operated: precise, rigid, and lacking warmth. Hopefully the next business in this location will treat its customers with a bit more empathy.

The condensed milk lemon series and fresh taro are also delicious, especially for those who avoid caffeine. I would recommend coming here if you are particular about teas with unique notes or are interested in their unique preparation/toppings! small edit: I would also highly recommend ordering ahead if you have Snackpass, as this location gets very busy with students.

I celebrated my birthday here and it was such a great experience. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The waffle with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream was light, crispy, and perfectly sweet. You can tell everything was made with care. I also had the omelette with avocado, roasted potatoes, and toast. The eggs were fluffy, the avocado was fresh, and the potatoes were perfectly crispy with so much flavor. Every bite felt comforting and satisfying. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to celebrate a special day. It felt relaxed but still special, exactly what I wanted for my birthday breakfast. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious brunch spot. read more

Our experience at Eatery was nothing short of disheartening. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly, but from that moment onward, we were entirely disregarded. No server came by to greet us, no water was offered, and not even the most minimal acknowledgment of our presence was extended. We sat for a full twenty minutes in a state of utter neglect, watching staff move about as though we were invisible. Ultimately, we had no choice but to leave, super disappointed that a restaurant with such promise could demonstrate such a staggering lapse in the most basic tenets of hospitality. Dining in is not just about food, but about the courtesy and attentiveness that frame the experience, hopefully they get it together but doubt I'll be coming back. read more

The parking outside can be a challenge, as Solano Ave always is. The tables are set up well. The service is exceptional, even when busy. But the real star of the show is the food. I ordered the Garden Omelet stuffed with all the veggies, and it was well-seasoned. The potatoes were light and crispy. If you haven't tried this place before, you will not be disappointed. read more
