Irish coffee from Tito & Sunday staff!

I truly appreciate all staff at O'Connells. Amazing location in Long Beach. 6am - 2am I was traveling to home and needing coffee to get motivated! Coffee + Tullamore Dew + Baileys! A little whip!

This place has improved majorly!!! A total 180, clean, painted, nice decor, better bartender. Wished they had regular Coronas and not the new light, I didn't requested the low calorie one and didn't notice until I inhaled it lol (not a fan of its watery flavor). The place has it cool atmosphere, and it's a plus that there is MVP next door

How bummed am I on seeing the same old men lingering out front every day, at any random time of day. That wont be me one day, right?

You can have better or worse food but if you are in the neighborhood no reason not to stop by; even if it's just for a few drinks.

My fiancé and I were looking for a place to drink and eat before a concert and were excited to see the menu for the Auld Dubliner. We came in on a Saturday night and the place was packed! The only place with seating was in the very front of the restaurant, outside. We sat outside looking at the menu, before deciding what we wanted. There wasn't a server or water walking around, so I had gone straight to the bar and talked to the bartender. He was very sweet and tried his best to hear me. Impeccable hearing, I'd say, because it was loud in there. I ordered an IPA with fish and chips. He gave me a number, which I was grateful for to ensure they'd find me outside. I sat outside with my fiancé, and we enjoyed our time people watching. Although they were extremely busy, our food came out within 10 - 15 minutes. The fish was very good; it was crispy and flaky. Their fries were okay, and just a tad bit soggy, probably due to the temperature of the fish. My IPA was cold and good. It's your typical pub and food, but great experience to those visiting. I'll probably be back again if I happen to be back for another concert.

The place itself is very spacious with lots of seating options. We went on a Friday evening and had no problem finding a table. Staff is very friendly and were quick to serve us. We weren't big fans of the sliders. Not entirely sure if it was the meat, or the sauce but the taste profile wasn't our cup of tea. Those wings were massive! We couldn't decide between the lemon pepper or buffalo and decided for Buffalo. We unfortunately couldn't get half and half for the 8 piece but that's an option for the 16! We definitely want to go back to try the lemon pepper. As far as the drinks, they have a solid menu of items. We didn't try too many beers so I can't speak too much on that. Overall, this is a great brewery and will definitely be back!

We found it here at Gallagher's, and the fact that they had really good food. It was her first night on the job and she did an amazing job looking after us. The food and drinks are really good, the bar is clean and well kept. There were plenty of regulars inside, and it was a nice night out for us. We can't wait to come back and try more food. I gave Christmas gifts to most of the staff last year and paid attention to what they'd like. My Mom and I celebrated St. Patrick's day here, and I went here every week for over a year for karaoke and many 49ers games. But what they did to me in the last two months is shameful and inexcusable. What riled me up is the owners decided to start using AI for their flyers and menus. I'm upset about it and wrote a review in response. I want to be clear about this, I'm putting the blame on THE OWNERS not the employees for this decision. They decided to make this decision and they were the ones who told an employee I greatly respect to ban me. Here's the kicker, a different employee told me "delete the reviews you wrote, or we'll ban you" so I did. I also offered to talk to the owners about this and also offered to pay someone to generate flyers and menus OUT OF MY OWN POCKET, but both offers were refused. I held up my end of the bargain and the owners didn't hold up their end of the bargain. The message has been clearly received, the owners are cheap, out of touch snakes. This is a minor point, but I told the managers here months ago to fix the men's toilet stall because the hinges are broken. I didn't get a chance to check tonight because of the banning, but the last time I checked a month ago, it was broken. Last I checked, it was broken for 2-3 months, which is just sad. Someone could get hurt if that thing falls. If that doesn't tell you the owners are cheap, I don't know what will. I'll use a colorful metaphor to describe how this feels; It feels like if the eldest members of a family told everyone else in the family "we're going to disown one of our kids for criticizing our decision". To add a cherry on top, tonight I was looking forward to celebrating the Assistant manager's birthday. Even a different bar I'm banned from made an exception to let me in for one night because a chosen family member of mine was celebrating his 50th birthday. After reading this, if you don't want to come here, I don't blame you. Seems Gallagher's has abandoned its favorite baby boy.

I understand that employees can have off days, but when the difference in treatment happens repeatedly, it becomes difficult not to notice. The location is great -- right in downtown, easy to find. The space is huge, with a downstairs, an upstairs, and a full restaurant on the opposite side from the bar area where we sat. Cool setup overall. The service is where it fell apart. We walked in and told the hostess there were two of us; she just said "sit anywhere" without showing us to a table or explaining how things worked. We sat in a booth for a while -- no menus, no server, nothing. My friend was very drunk and badly needed water, so eventually I went up to the bar myself to ask how it worked. Turns out you order everything at the bar -- but nobody tells you that up front. I had to go up three separate times: once to figure out the system and get waters, once to place our food order, and again later just to get a water refill. That last refill was the most frustrating part. The bartender who'd helped us earlier saw me standing at the end of the bar and just walked away. I waited and waited, didn't want to be that person yelling over other customers, and eventually another bartender helped me out. It really wasn't busy that night either, especially for a night with a whole festival happening nearby, so there wasn't a good excuse for it. On the plus side: my hamburger was genuinely really good, and the whole meal for two came out to about $30 -- the cheapest we ate the entire trip. My friend got a tomato pesto cheese sandwich, though he was too far gone to give me a real opinion on it. Food gets a thumbs up, but the lack of any real table service and being ignored at the bar soured the whole experience. Probably won't be back unless I hear the service has improved.

Fast forward to this past weekend for the USA World Cup game. We originally were planning on attending the street party that was happening on Pine Ave in downtown for the game. But when we arrived, there was a massive line just to get in. Just from the looks of it, the line didn't seemed to move and the game was starting. That's how we ended up here. The bar is just off the promenade in downtown. Clearly, there was no way we're waiting in the line for the street party. Instead, we remembered and seen this place. They too were showing the game so we walked in. There was a good amount of people on the patio area which they also had a television. Inside was a bit more mellow but it was picking up. With this bar, we got to sit down and enjoy the game with a nice cold beer. Happy hour was going on so they were having specials on drinks. Within minutes, it was starting to get packed as everyone was doing the same thing. Instead of waiting in line and the game was starting, this place was a better option. A nice open vibe bar. Plenty of seating inside as well as the outside patio which was pretty big as well. The ladies behind the bar were amazing. Busy as they were trying to take care of everything and everyone. Drink specials did sound nice but we opted for the happy hour beer. Bar area was quite roomy with communal tables as well a private table. Bar seating was great as the television was right in-front of you. The tufted leather seats, leather high top seats give it that cigar lounge. A cool spot right in the heart of downtown Long Beach. They didn't serve food but was informed that hat someone was serving classic hot dog and burger out front. Having walked in and enjoying this place, it was worth it. Also one of the bartender that worked at another place we've been to also worked here. The whole place was nice and greatly enjoyed. Will be back for sure.
