Great staff, very friendly, and they have a great selection of bones and treats/food, as well as leashes and stuffed toys. The prices are also pretty affordable compared to places like Petco and PetSmart.

Pretty big selection. If they don't have what u need, they can order. Will prefer to help out small business than big chains.

They're so helpful and knowledgeable about what dogs should and shouldn't be eating. I learned a lot just by talking to them.

Great selection of dog products and really nice guys working there. We brought our pup in and they couldn't have been nicer.

So I was in the neighborhood and wanted to patronize a local store to support local business. I wanted a pet brush for double coat fur dogs and a harness. There was no one else in the store, but when I asked for some help on which of the many options would be appropriate for the dog (which I had with me), he was gruff and couldn't be bothered to give me any guidance or info. I ended up standing in front of the carousel of brushes and googling reviews. Then, after paying for the brush, I asked for his opinion on the size and choice of a harness. Without hesitation he recommended a medium size for my small shiba, and let me try the harness on her. However, before ringing up the purchase, he again was blunt and pre-emptively said, "no returns on this one, okay?" I wasn't planning on returning it, but it surprised me that he would say so and say it in this way. Was I being profiled? I'm not sure. It didn't feel good to be treated this way. I reassured him I don't live nearby and didn't plan on returning it anyway, and we wore the harness out happily. It wasn't two weeks in when my dog started wiggling out of the harness on its tightest setting. Come to find out, she really fits a small (because I got her a size small in the same model, and that fits her perfectly). I think the items I purchased were very basic things for a dog, and the lack of care and customer service on the part of the owner left much to be desired. I will not be back.

It's by…read moreno means a large pet store, but I'm fairly confident it's the best one in all of Sunnyside. I've always been super impressed with their helpful customer service, super niche inventory, and how organized everything is in the store. It's certainly not like the chain'y mega stores but it is quaint and clean. They have a good number of things: pet food, pet toys and everything in between it all. Most of the stuff is geared toward cats and dogs, but they surely have the supplies for folks bringing up a ::insert animal:: into their home. Another bonus? It actually smells good in here. (#1) As is the deal with most stores with premium goods, their stuff can get expensive. While most everything can probably found online for cheaper, it's the best option for being able to get something in person without the wait for shipping. For those not able to make to the store, they also deliver for a fee. Lastly, keep an eye out for their monthly sales -- that's the best time to come. ____________ (#1) You know that odor when entering some pet stores? Not here.

I found some of their products for much less at different stores, at Amazon, and/or Walmart. No one asked me if I have their loyalty card. But they asked the customer next to my register. What the heck was that? I had to ask about the benefits and I really wanted to ask why I wasn't asked about joining or if I already joined? Hmm...something to think about.

I took my Pekingese to be groomed, which was quite expensive--$165 is more than I pay for my own haircut--and it took them 3.5 hours. My husband specifically requested a groomer named May and showed a photo with clear grooming instructions at drop-off. However, when we picked up our dog, he had been groomed by someone else who was never given the instructions we requested. A bait and switch. We explicitly told the groomer DO NOT CUT HIS LONG EARS. Yet, when we picked him up, his beautiful long ears had been cut and thinned. To make matters worse, there were multiple dread-like tangles of residual hair they had trimmed but didn't even bother to comb out (see photos). We requested a smooth puppy cut, but what he got was a choppy, irregular mess with long shaggy patches all over his body and no discernible shape. (See photos) The underside of his paws still had excessive fur around the pads and the close shave around his anus (no picture) is frankly unattractive. While they gave him an adorable scarf post grooming, this is far from the high-end, expert grooming suggested by the price. I normally go to Easy Wag but couldn't get an appointment this week. Now I know it would've been worth it wait. I do not recommend grooming services here.
