Ok so as of now I only stopped in here for something sweet to bring to my buddies house. So I grabbed a dozen cupcakes, picked out by the wonderful girl working here. I wasn't too picky but I seen her choices and she did a fair share of chocolate and vanilla type cupcakes so i was happy (I'm a huge vanilla fan). So I go hard for desserts, like super picky on my sweets because I love them so much. Welp.....these cupcakes.... blew my tastebuds away!!!!! Moist, cakey, sweet base with a delicious frosting not only on top but in the centers on these classic cup beauties. The icing was skillfully placed on all the different designs and truly gave me a reason to be happy I stopped in here. They were a huge hit, my friends (being from the area) asked where I got them and I had to rave. They do personal cakes with beautiful designs, have a great Instagram that shows it all off and they do all types of treats. I was very impressed with this place. I looked everywhere for a place that would make alcohol infused cupcakes and they delivered! I wasn't sure they would be able to make it since I ordered just a day before I needed them but everything came out great. I had to provide the alcohol, which I didn't mind and they didn't seem to mind that I brought in 2 different bottles. I ordered cookie dough w/Hennessy and cookies & cream w/Baileys Irish and they were sooooo good! They were a huge hit at the party and the whole process was easier than I expected. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because it's a small place and I got a little bit of a weird vibe from the girl who initially greeted me. I received a tiny, 5" one-layer cake and the design I requested was completely messed up and you could see where items and lettering had been taken off the cake. Sadly, I was hoping to have a good experience but was unable to make an order through the Cupcakery. I asked to deliver a dozen cupcakes to a location and was told they do make ddeliveries for small orders. The person on the phone was polite, but I could hear her manager instructing her and telling her what to say. I ordered a cake for my mother's birthday, went over it in detail what I wanted with the owner who was less than thrilled looking to be taking this order honestly, but I had specific detail on what I wanted (which he wrote) colors (pink and gold) roses dipped in gold looking etc they brought out a white cake! It wasn't ugly bc he added flowers and glitter to it but it wasn't what I asked for. Everyone thought the cake looked beautiful so I let it go but once we tried the cake it was BONE DRY! Just okay cupcake bakery in Bellmore didn't have the largest variety of cupcakes or cake pops. It's a tiny little storefront nicely decorated with one small table off to the side if you wish to stay. Bought a half dozen to bring home and some cake pops. The cake pops (vanilla and chocolate) were quite small and had a strange after taste. The cupcakes themselves come in two sizes, kind of small and tiny. Tried a raspberry, chocolate swirl icing chocolate cupcake. Though the icing was nice, the cake part was a bit too dense and dry. The red velvet cupcake was bland and again, dry. It's not expensive, $14.99 for a half dozen cupcakes that weren't that great and service at the counter was patient and helpful. I should have known better when I walked in, but wanted to support a local business. The place was dirty and had very few cupcakes on display. It did not have the cheerful vibe it had for many years before. The owner was arrogant and annoyed to answer questions and felt like he was doing me a favor assisting with my order. He did not use gloves. When I got home, the cupcakes were turned upside down as they were put in the wrong size box. I immediately called the store & was told they've never received a complaint before mine & had the choice to come back and buy new ones (& then was hung up on). Hard to believe as I spoke to many others in this town who had a similar experience. What a disappointment! Went there this morning and wanted to buy some cupcakes for a play date. We walk in and it is so small, not inviting at all. The selection was horrible and nothing looked fresh. There was hardly any variety of cupcakes to choose from. The icing on the cupcake was here we are in a tiny store with one girl behind the counter and she doesn't even say good morning or can I help you? She is just staring blankly at us. I ordered 2 dozen custom cupcakes for my brothers bday party and they were AMAZING from the service to the taste! What happened to all the details we some about? Ive ordered several specialty cakes before and I just love the reaction guests have to an amazing cake. But guess what? We got our daughter's baptism cake from here with nutella and bavarian creme filling, and it was phenomenal. People kept coming up to me at the party, telling me its one of the best cakes they have had. The only small issue with the cake was the writing did not look very professional, but the flowers and other decor was very nice. In addition, we ordered mini cupcakes and cake pops. The mini cupcakes were a huge hit with the children. I loved them- I had the mini hostess cupcake, which was amazing, so good. I could eat 100 of them. The cake pops were the favors. There was a small issue when I went to pick them up and the service was great. They corrected the cake pops and delivered them to our event, which I thought was really outstanding customer service. The only small issue I observed, was that the top of the cake pops were flattened and the cake part is visible, but I guess that is to see what flavor pop it is. A friend of mine, who is somewhat of a cake pop connoisseur, told me that she had never had a cake pop like this, and it was by far, the best one she has ever had, which really says a lot. The staff at this place are all very friendly. The counter girls are helpful and friendly and the owner will stop and chat if he's in. I've called before right when they were about to close and on many occasions, they've offered to stay open just so I can come in for one cupcake. They have a great variety of flavors and are consistently introducing new ones to the mix. They'll also put together whatever you'd like if you don't see what you're looking for. Their cupcakes don't always hit a home run but what they lack/miss in flavor, they make up for in AMAZING customer service. That alone has made them my automatic go to for bakeries. read more
