Yasssss! So proud and honored to be the first to review. And judging by the way their scrumptious cookies taste, I won't be the last. I first met Meg in 2020 at the Seaford Farmers Market. She had a table filled with super cute cookies with various designs and colors. I had tried so many other so-called designer cookies in the past but none compare to these. There's an undeniable freshness to these cookies; they're crispy but at the same time so soft. And the flavor is hard to describe- almost like there's a tasty secret ingredient. Whatever it is, I'm hooked. Meg was kind enough to make the cookie party favors for my baby shower (baby Yoda) in 2021 and then again for my baby's christening in 2022 (crosses). Her cookies are always a hit. I've seen the designs she's made for other people and her work is always impeccable. I was so happy to hear there's now a storefront where Meg is able to sell her delicious treats on a grander scale. She deserves all the praise and positive reviews Yelp has to offer!

Sadly, my husband went there this morning and bought 4 mini sfogliatelle and 1 cannoli. Now, you should be able to trust that a bakery has fresh pastries. Well, not today...the sfogliatelle are stale! I would say not a day old. These are old, stale and should not have been sold. The cannoli was freshly filled and not stale but those sfogliatelle are a total disappointment. $14.00 thrown in the garbage. The only positive here is that I learned to never go back. A bakery selling old stale pastries isn't getting my business. Dortoni's and Leonetti's would never sell this to their customers. I'm insulted actually. You sold me an inferior product. When you go to a restaurant, is it okay for them to sell you yesterday's leftovers? Steer clear of this bakery. They do not care about their customers. You have a 50/50 chance of getting leftovers...not bakery fresh food.

The promotions they have are really good. For Halloween they gave out Lil' chip cookies to anyone in costume. The Lil' chip seems to be about 3/4 the size of a full sized cookie. You also get a free cookie on your birthday when signing up for their loyalty program. I usually take advantage of the uber eats BOGO offer or the BOGO off on the chip city app (usually Wednesdays). Something about coffee cooked for a long period of time actually gives it that "rich smooth taste". I ordered their raspberry cheese cake. It was actually delicious but the portion was a bit smaller than what I was expecting. Atmosphere inside comfortable and active with new patrons walking in. I opted to sit outside which made me feel like I was in NYC at a ritzy Cafe next to Central Park. It was quieter and relaxing. *Parking lot is Huge and shared with other stores. Use exit number 3 for a traffic light to cross over Wantauh Avenue. *Bathrooms; are two and both co-ed. *Final thoughts Pardon my "FRENCH" but the French Workshop was just ok for me. They didnt have scoopable ice-cream on hand which would have been nice next to my cake and their coffee wasn't on par in regards to a "RICH BOLD TASTE". No free coffee refills, no porcelain cup, and no silverware. The only metal your going to get is the steel tray your desert comes on. Perhaps something to consider ? *The Review Guru Long Island NY

And they have a few vegan options! Don't expect macarons nor tarts, but that blueberry croissant I had was so delicious. It was more of a whole grain pastry than a traditional buttery croissant but because the blueberry filling was so sweet, I was happy for a less decadent pastry. I love that they have a nice array of coffee and matcha drinks too. I'm pretty sure the word has been out for some time now, but when that Starbucks line in the parking lot is just too much, The French Workshop is a better option (however, on a rainy Saturday in May, that line inside was considerable. People know what's good!) There's plenty of seating, too and if you are good at pretending, you almost feel you're in Europe (ignore the suburban strip mall that surrounds you).
