Yasssss! So proud and honored to be the first to review. And judging by the way their scrumptious cookies taste, I won't be the last. I first met Meg in 2020 at the Seaford Farmers Market. She had a table filled with super cute cookies with various designs and colors. I had tried so many other so-called designer cookies in the past but none compare to these. There's an undeniable freshness to these cookies; they're crispy but at the same time so soft. And the flavor is hard to describe- almost like there's a tasty secret ingredient. Whatever it is, I'm hooked. Meg was kind enough to make the cookie party favors for my baby shower (baby Yoda) in 2021 and then again for my baby's christening in 2022 (crosses). Her cookies are always a hit. I've seen the designs she's made for other people and her work is always impeccable. I was so happy to hear there's now a storefront where Meg is able to sell her delicious treats on a grander scale. She deserves all the praise and positive reviews Yelp has to offer!

The promotions they have are really good. For Halloween they gave out Lil' chip cookies to anyone in costume. The Lil' chip seems to be about 3/4 the size of a full sized cookie. You also get a free cookie on your birthday when signing up for their loyalty program. I usually take advantage of the uber eats BOGO offer or the BOGO off on the chip city app (usually Wednesdays). And now an even closer location in Plainview! Pretty soon they're gonna open one right in my backyard or something haha. It is a lovely spot for authentic French-inspired pastries and coffee. I've had everything here including cupcakes, brownies, croissants, macarons, cookies, madelines, etc. I've also come here to get a small cake for special occasions. It is also a very nice place to come with friends and enjoy a coffee and pastries. The elegant, pristine interior with marble accents and beautiful displays creates a welcoming Parisian vibe. Perfect for a quick treat or relaxed sit-down. I love the cookies here, they're soft and chewy unlike the Plainview FWS I always leave with a giant bag of 5 of every different flavor of cookie(chocolate chip, nutella, oreo, pistachio, etc) because the texture is so soft and smooth. My new obsession is the fruits of the forest cake. So delicious! Its a must try!!! It gets packed in here, but the line moves quickly! If you haven't tried FWS yet, what are you waiting for?

In fact, I'd go further and say, if you wanna go on this journey the way I did... you should. I ordered and tried it before I was high and my first thought was, this is low-key not great and I think I gotta be high.... So I did just that. ...it certainly got better as I pontificated about life and other dimensions of reality, and popped the dope sauce into the microwave... it all came together after that, I didn't love the half fried tortalini, mostly because there just wasn't enough bacon jam and stuff on top, but I obviously kept picking at it all night so, what's that say? The Shrimp sandwich was just that, shrimp, coleslaw, bread... it's good but way better stoned! The shrimp is large and the fry on it is boss level expertise Their two sauces (sweet honey mustard and spicy cherry pepper) are really good, the dope sauce is a cheese fondue type joint that needs to be heated and gooey and melty.... Unless you're at the truck I'm sure, but I ordered delivery. Now, with the tortalini I ordered the chicken side as well as the sausage, and by the end of the night I put the scarps together and made a chicken sausage and cheese fondue that was to die for, and that science experiment blew my mind because.... Maybe these assholes took me on that journey!? Hah maybe that's what I was supposed to do? Put it all on the tortalini? I dnno, but it was great and they get the fourth star just for that, because if they planned my night this way... lmao mind blown, but it didn't take much, I was smoking through my nose last night.

Something about coffee cooked for a long period of time actually gives it that "rich smooth taste". I ordered their raspberry cheese cake. It was actually delicious but the portion was a bit smaller than what I was expecting. Atmosphere inside comfortable and active with new patrons walking in. I opted to sit outside which made me feel like I was in NYC at a ritzy Cafe next to Central Park. It was quieter and relaxing. *Parking lot is Huge and shared with other stores. Use exit number 3 for a traffic light to cross over Wantauh Avenue. *Bathrooms; are two and both co-ed. *Final thoughts Pardon my "FRENCH" but the French Workshop was just ok for me. They didnt have scoopable ice-cream on hand which would have been nice next to my cake and their coffee wasn't on par in regards to a "RICH BOLD TASTE". No free coffee refills, no porcelain cup, and no silverware. The only metal your going to get is the steel tray your desert comes on. Perhaps something to consider ? *The Review Guru Long Island NY

And they have a few vegan options! Don't expect macarons nor tarts, but that blueberry croissant I had was so delicious. It was more of a whole grain pastry than a traditional buttery croissant but because the blueberry filling was so sweet, I was happy for a less decadent pastry. I love that they have a nice array of coffee and matcha drinks too. I'm pretty sure the word has been out for some time now, but when that Starbucks line in the parking lot is just too much, The French Workshop is a better option (however, on a rainy Saturday in May, that line inside was considerable. People know what's good!) There's plenty of seating, too and if you are good at pretending, you almost feel you're in Europe (ignore the suburban strip mall that surrounds you).
