Another favorite that is on the regular rotation is the triple chocolate cookie. I like the contrast of the white chocolate chips to the dark chocolate dough. S'mores is my brother-in-law's favorite. It is a good merge of a cookie and the campfire treat. They also make special cookies that run for a limited time. Rainbow cookie and croissant cookie were some of the memorable ones. The promotions they have are really good. For Halloween they gave out Lil' chip cookies to anyone in costume. The Lil' chip seems to be about 3/4 the size of a full sized cookie. The cookies are fresh, taste great, and they have a few different flavors every time. My kids love 'em. The whole experience is always great, cant complain about anything. Great experience at Chip City in Merrick Long Island. The worker was welcoming and engaged in conversation which is always a plus. The amount of cookies were limited because we decided to pop in 25 minutes before closing. At that point establishments are not making fresh menu items. We ordered the 3/$14.50 cookie special which ended up being 3/$19 because we got 2 Rainbow cookie cookies which are "special cookies. I get it. The cookies were delicious! The flavor was perfect. Just the right amount of jelly. They were not as soft as we liked but we did show up before closing so that's on me. The chocolate chip was very good as well. Chip City is really opening up everywhere and I'm not mad about it!! I was craving a cookie and found that this Chip City was nearby so I decided to make a quick stop to fulfill my cravings. It's a cute little shop with a few seats inside but most people just order for take out. The staff member who helped me was really nice too, especially when I was being indecisive on which cookie to get. I love that Chip City rotates their cookies on a weekly basis so there's something new to try depending on your taste preferences for the week. I ended up getting the brookie cause I love a good classic cookie but also something rich in chocolate like a brownie. The brookie was actually a dairy free cookie. It was more of the brownie base than the cookie though so I did wish it was more balanced but still yummy. I've tried a good variety of their other cookie flavors in the past and have always enjoyed them. On a 96 degree day, you walk into this clean and spacious cool interior with fresh, warm cookies. The girl behind the counter was sweet. I've already joined their club and reminded hubby to give my phone number so we can get rewards. I never got my free birthday cookie and, after speaking to a manager, she gave me my choice of cookie. Every week, the choices change, so sign up for the emails and every Friday, you get an email with that week's rotation which is a few regulars like chocolate chip, and a few dairy/gluten free choices. Nice place. Love the fact that they always have a non dairy option. Disappointed in the fact that there weren't more flavors. Wish there were seats inside. Cookies are big with a googy center. Taste comes at a price. Two cookies are over $10 so it's not an everyday place to do. On a busy street but there is a parking lot next door. Was excited to come here after they finally opened but was left extremely disappointed. As a avid cookie lover I was in shock that they had no chocolate chip, or any chocolate flavors at all. Makes no sense how a cookie ship (especially one named Chip City) lacks crucial flavors like chocolate chip but have unappetizing ones such as "hot honey cornbread" and White chocolate macadamia nuts. I usually go to the Chip City in Oceanside but Merrick is closer to my home. I love when you first walk in you can smell the sweet scent of fresh cookies. I like that they change their menu every week besides the chocolate chip one. My favorite two are the confetti and the peanut butter jelly one. Oh man I wish I never found this spot ! The choices here are great and not the regular old cookies . You can tell someone actually seats down and thinks about flavor profiles and athletics!
