Been in the neighborhood for about 5 years and this place is fairly new but it's already one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed stopping by in the pre-COVID days (the owner is super friendly and makes amazing lattes) but for now I'm settling for delivery. :( I have to give a shoutout to the oat and roasted veggie bowl - I know there are probably some savory oatmeal skeptics but trust me, it's really good. If you're looking for more standard "healthy casual" sandwich/smoothie fare, they do it better than just about anyone and their vegan BLT is somehow almost TOO good. My only complaint is that they had an absolutely heavenly curry tofu salad sandwich when they first opened but they removed it from the menu due to lack of demand. I know that's just how restaurants work and there are tons of other great options, but I'll have to keep relying on Meme's for my curry tofu salad fix! read more

A really fresh, delicious salad in an environmentally friendly bowl. It arrived very pretty with each set of ingredients in its own space. Only problem for me was, without a knife, it was difficult to cut, mix and eat the way I wanted to. It was also the perfect portion! Healthy and yummy! I'll be back! read more

Came here for lunch pick up. Ordered a açaí smoothie, jerk chicken wrap, warm chicken avocado beats zucchini quinoa bowl and avocado toast. My bag broke so o missed out on the quinoa bowl but the avocado toast was awesome, loved the sautéed tomatoes and garlic, and the jerk chicken wrap. With the jerk chicken, your lips will tingle and burn but you won't be able to stop eating that chicken. That wrap was nice and hearty, maybe that's why the bag broke . Great spot, food tasted great, was super healthy and I felt great after eating it. Can't wait for when I can eat here in person again. read more

What a beautiful breakfast! I am so satisfied in body and in spirit. I ordered the Nurish sandwich with tempeh bacon, and oat milk latte and the Açaí detox juice to go. The sandwich was excellent! The vegan chipotle mayo tied it all together and the croissant was toasted to remain crisp until the last bite. I was impressed by the latte because other restaurants I've been to have not served the lattes at a hot enough temperature to ensure it stays warm until the last drop. Not here! Warm and well balanced all the way through. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual and everything is spotlessly clean! Eli is doing things right in Brooklyn! I'm excited to visit again and explore more of the menu. read more

While I fell in love with this place since the first time I discovered it during it's first month of opening, My recent visit was not up to par. The quality of the service has decreased dramatically. I got there at 5pm, they close at 6pm. I was confused about the add-ons and prices so I asked the girl and the older lady for help. The girl behind the register seemed very impatient, she kept looking at her watch every 2 seconds while I was asking questions which made me very uncomfortable and rushed. I specifically asked for fresh red peppers and she read over my order to me before I paid and she said "roasted red peppers". When I corrected her letting her know I don't want them roasted and asked if they could be fresh she said yes no problem. When I got my bowl the peppers were roasted! They took them out and the cook was nice enough to replace it with a cup of steamed spinach however it was WAY over cooked. Also, after I ordered the girl told me I could wait outside and she would bring it to me. I sat there for exactly 30minutes waiting until I finally went inside and asked if it was ready. She said yes it's been ready. By then the food was lukewarm and the restaurant was about to close, which left me incredibly rushed to eat. Why wouldn't she bring it out to me knowing I'm sitting out there waiting to eat before they closed?! Lastly, when I was ordering, a customer walked in and asked what kind of food they serve and the girl behind the register was clueless and said "I don't really know how to explain it." I was so embarrassed for her and for the customer that I chimed in and told customer that it's healthy organic food. The girl behind the counter really did not sell it at all and the customer wound up walking out. I really hope they get their act together because this place went from top of my list to blacklist really fast. read more

I love this place so much. They have great healthy food. It's a little pricey. The only thing that drives me crazy is that they don't have a subscription to whatever music platform they use and every two minutes you hear commercials. Who wants to hear commercials while they are eating? read more

Love, love, love. Beautiful cafe on the corner of Bergen and Washington. I had the Farro and Roasted Veg bowl and a Cold Brew. The most difficult part of my experience was trying to pick only one thing on the menu because it all looked so wonderful. Can't wait to be back. I'm updating my review based on my recent delivery orders. I really liked Nurish for several months but recently the orders have been missing ingredients (latest example - we asked salmon to be in the salad but there was none and my wife was completely missing the dressing). I realize these are tough times but it shouldn't stop them from doing basic checks to see if all the ingredients are there in the ordered salads. read more

Great new spot for healthy food-- salads, grain bowls, smoothies, juices etc. With the bowls you can get your choice of base and two of the options are lentils and quinoa! I love a place with a lentil base option! Further, you can choose from a range of great vegetable options including beets, roasted cauliflower, chickpeas, avocado, etc. Salmon and shrimp are also among the protein offerings. Everything I ever want from a grain bowl, I can get it here. Also, the team here is great and friendly. My friend and I stayed past closing unintentionally and they were really nice about letting us know they were getting ready to close (sorry again, and thank you!) I had the Amaranth and Lentil bowl which had Roasted Beets, Spinach, Hard Boiled Egg, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes with Pomegranate and Strawberry Yogurt Sauce. I added baked salmon. Hands down one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. We're often starting our mornings there with refreshing caffeinated beverages. We've also had a bunch of their smoothies and juices and they're all delicious. The bowls and salads are also highly recommended, and you can tell that they are using the freshest ingredients. I rarely leave reviews, but had to for Nurish. Hearty, healthy, delicious fresh food, good for the body and the soul. Try the garlicky portobello bowl, and ask for an extra helping of the yummy dressing! I live in LIC and only wish that Nurish was closer so I could go there every week!
