Highly recommend Nûrish BK -- if you're in the area, support this local restaurant and their delicious / nutritious menu. Chef Elijah and his team crafted two amazing platters of wraps for the Confronting 4th March Honoring Black and Indigenous Activists this past weekend. We really appreciated having his help identifying the right mix of food for the hot, outdoor setting catering order. We landed on vegan hummus wraps and the turkey BLT wraps -- which were beautifully presented and easy to transport. As stated on their site, their purpose is to create affordable, tasty, and nutritious food that Nûrishes, energizes, uplifts, empowers, and rejuvenates you. They 100% delivered on exactly that! But it's my favorite neighborhood spot for coffee, and their salads, sandwiches, and bowls are all delicious. My favorites are the "nature v nurture" salad, Asian shrimp bowl, and I love their tuna sandwich. The owner, Elijah, is always there to welcome you, and chef Barry is the best. I ordered the Hummuna Hummuna wrap because I'm sick at home, without a sense of taste or smell, so I opted for the texture of a wrap. The menu picture looked awesome. I figured I'd order it since I can't buy lavash or tortillas at home. It instead came on a rough, brittle toast without any notice. The porous bread tends to absorb more of the hummus, and the grain especially rough on my mouth and throat. The Cleansing Tonic Juice is always perfect though and really gingery. read more

I could not be more ecstatic about having a healthy option for takeout in the neighborhood, and it's absolutely delicious. I had the warm quinoa bowl with avocado, roasted cauliflower, brussel sprouts, tofu and garlicky spinach. It reminded me of something I would have purchased at Dig Inn, but was clearly made to order, incredibly well seasoned and superbly executed. There was so much love packed into every morsel of food. I was so impressed at how well they executed a dish that could have easily been soooo mundane. And they're a Black owned business to boot, so now I HAVE to support. Bravo. read more

I am so so happy I found this place. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Queen Caesar salad and I cannot get over how good it is! The chicken is so fresh and spiced so perfectly. The carrots add a super fresh crunch, but I substituted cherry tomatoes instead of peppers and they are so tasty and full of flavor. I love the smoothies at this place and the guys behind the register and kitchen are the most amazing, welcoming human beings. However, I wish they'd do something about the sogginess of the croissant sandwiches. Every Time I've had one it's been soggy - for instance, hot egg on top of lettuce cooks the lettuce and tomatoes. The lunch BLT has way too many ingredients leading to messiness and sogginess. This should be a quick tweak of menu items or ingredients. Until then, I'll stick to smoothies only here. read more

This is my new spot! For everything! A great variety of healthy food, great coffee, and my personal favorite a chai latte with almond milk. I also can't say how grateful I am to have a cafe open before 10AM. As an early riser I love having a breakfast spot I can go to just to relax or a cafe with a great vibe to get work done!
