It was just OK. My husband got the french toast with sliced almonds in it, that was excellent! We had a friendly server. Other than that, things were a bit meh...They served me on a plate that was stained either with ketchup or raspberry sauce or something not belonging to my dish, but the place was so busy that I did not have the spirit to ask them to replate...The blueberry pancake I got smelt of flour, I have had better. There are several Nudys cafes around but this is by far the best I have visited. They have outside seating available which is nice on a good weather day. Food wise, I would say they are ok and not the best for brunch. But the ambience is perfect. Also, you can sit for long hours and have good time with friends. read more

Nudy's has great breakfast and lunch food. Everything tastes homemade, not like a diner, and it is a very friendly and cozy environment. The owners are locals and the wait staff are always pleasant. It is a bit more expensive than a diner-type restaurant but the food is WELL WORTH IT. They also have outdoor seating year round that is temperature controlled which is a huge plus. I suggest the melba or the breakfast burrito. read more

Solid brunch food! We went on July 4th, so weren't sure if it was open, but they were. We went late so got a table easily - I had the fish tacos - quite yummy. My hubby had the crabcake sandiwch - his was much more flavorful. Seems like a great neighborhood place to grab a bite. read more

Excellent food and excellent service. I had the onion mushroom cheeseburger cooked perfectly medium as requested. Juliann was our server at the counter and she was great. Yesterday my Husband and I took a random morning trip to Phoenixville originally to bike ride (we ended up walking up to town after we ate because it was way too cold to ride). We decided to stop for breakfast first, and I found Nudy's through a google search. I ordered eggs, toast, corned beef hash and home fries, my Husband ordered the Farmers omelette, and we shared a chocolate chip pecan pancake. The food was seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and everything was absolutely delicious. As a photographer I appreciated all of the natural light that flowed in the Cafe. The staff was working hard to keep the customers happy that were waiting to be seated and that were already eating. Prices were great, and we will definitely be returning :) read more

I have been hearing about Nudy's for quite some time, but had never been until this morning. I had heard nothing but good things, and I arrived at around noon on a Sunday with an enormous appetite and optimistic expectations. We sat outside on the patio, nice wrought-iron furniture with gigantic umbrellas. The menu was incredibly promising. Great ideas, but in my experience, poor execution. I ordered the jumbo lump crab omelette with asparagus and bernaise and a side of scrapple. The asparagus was rubber and undercooked. The omelette was bland. My scrapple was undercooked and mush, but maybe that's my fault for not ordering it well done. Then again maybe not. Good toast, though. My girlfriend ordered eggs and bacon, a tough dish to mess up but very good nonetheless. My friend had eggs benedict and they were good as well. All in all, underwhelming would be the best way to describe my experience. I will go back, as there is tons to explore on their extensive menu, but first impressions are everything and Nudy's came up short for me. read more

Nice and cozy environment with quaint outdoor seating make this place enjoyable. Food selection is unique and it all sounds delicious. Went for Brunch and It was the typical breakfast. A large menu with everything you can think of for breakfast/brunch. Small place so get there early for seating. They don't serve alcohol but we brought some champagne for Mimosas which was a big bonus. read more

While the food and service here at Nudy's for breakfast is usually ok, the outdoor dining room area is often filthy and unpleasant. Our tables often had dried food in the table metal mesh top. The sun barrels in the clear plastic windows the morning, and there's no way to block its rays while you try and eat and converse, rendering your meal a chore to finish. When its hot, they have a big, dirty fan that is loud and blows air across the room, and when its cold, there an equally unpleasant heater. So while the food is alright here, and the service is usually good, eat on the outside terrace or in the interior dining room and avoid the outdoor covered dining room. read more

The wait is almost always long but it is 100% worth the wait. It is a cute place in the adorable town of Wayne. The service was incredibly quick once we were seated. Our drinks came within 60 seconds of ordering them. The meal was incredible. Banana Walnut French Toast is my favorite. Definitely a great experience. This was one of the worst breakfasts I have had at a restaurant. We weren't looking for anything gourmet or innovative in a breakfast joint, but what made this experience awful was that Nudy's screwed up the basics. The "home fries" were a mushy, tasteless glob. My omelette was dry, tough and tasted strongly of margarine. The coffee was weak and had an unpleasant flavor. I was with a party of four, and it only took about 10 minutes from the time we ordered to the food being on our table. I guess you shouldn't complain about speedy service, but this is extreme, and it's obvious that the kitchen puts little effort into making quality food. They have a huge menu, but they should just focus on doing a few things well. The ambience doesn't make up for the bad food. We sat under the tent on the concrete patio. It was loud and, simply, there's nothing nice to look at; Nudy's is surrounded by your typical Main Line parking lots. The service isn't great...lots of young waitstaff just hanging around, slow to bus tables and fill coffee. I should also add that I joined Yelp specifically to make this review! I wouldn't return to Nudy's or recommend it to anyone. read more

Food is fine, average cafe fare. We had breakfast and had no complaints about the food but it was nothing to write home about. The service leaves something to be desired though. 10 minutes into our meal, the waitress walked over and just folded up the check and stuck it in between a couple of glasses without a word and then went back to leaning against a wall. And then, when I took my 3 year old to use the restroom, I came back and my food was gone. The waitress had taken it upon herself to clear my setting while I wasn't at the table and was nowhere near finished which was unacceptable and just ruined the entire experience for me. Also, there were a LOT of flies buzzing around. And parking is pretty bad (street parking and a small lot behind the building). We will not be going back. read more

I came here for breakfast with my husband to meet a few friends and they were running late due to the fact that they got a flat tire on their way here. We had already been waiting for about thirty minutes and they sat us without the rest of our party. After about ten minutes of completely rude service and treatment we were kicked out of our table and forced to wait again for another 20 minutes. This was a completely unprofessional situation and we felt extremely uncomfortable. We were not able to control the situation with our friends and were treated with no respect as a paying customer. We waited for a total of about an hour and it was completely ridiculous. The staff was rude and inconsiderate and I will not be returning to this restaurant again. read more

Had brunch at Nudy's for a second time and was even more disappointed than the first time we ate there. The food is nasty. Crab Benedict had canned dried up mystery meat on it with mashed hash browns on the side. Let's hope I don't get sick from the crab! Disgusting and unsanitary--Nudy's Cafe is a new stand at the Strafford Farmer's Market. You can watch them make your food, and I watched the cook prepare my lunch--without wearing gloves, and frequently wiping his hands on his clothes. When I brought this up, rather than prepare my food in a sanitary manner the cook opted to argue with me that he didn't need to. At least they gave me a refund. read more

Wow! This place has really gone downhill! We used to love Nudys but the quality of the food has gone down significantly. We've tried 2 locations now and they are both the same. Friends recommended this breakfast spot. I have to say I was disappointed. We should have opted to sit outside, but instead were seated in the small dining room. The first thing that I noticed was the unpleasant smell inside. A dank smell that permeated the room which was being unsuccessfully masked by a heavily perfumed air freshener. Then came the over abundance of black flies that were unavoidable. Landing on the walls, food and on the diners. This really made me weary of eating the food. A trip to the restroom uncovered no toilet paper in either of the individual restrooms, and both were filthy. The food was well presented and the server was very pleasant, friendly and attentive. But after sharing the pumpkin bread French toast and prosciutto omelette I found that they both tasted average and nothing special. If this were a dive restaurant with dive prices I would have been more understanding. I won't be returning, but if you believe the hype, be sure to sit outside and don't discover what's behind the curtain. read more

Went in on a Tuesday around 11am. Was told to grab a seat at a dirty table and that they would be right over to clean it. No one ever came by to clean it or bring any place settings. Placed an order for coffee, poached eggs and carrot cake french toast. Coffee came then had to ask and wait for silverware to stir my coffee. When my food arrived, my eggs were fried, not poached. Then as I was eating my french toast, I found a white hair! I told my server, he apologized and I watched him take it to the kitchen to show the line chefs. He asked to replace it, but I declined due to loss of appetite. He took the charge off and no manager or anyone came to talk to me about it. This place is very poorly run from a managerial stand point. There was nothing amazing about the food - any joe could whip up the caliber of food that comes out of that kitchen. The hair incident was unaccounted for and that is unforgivable. I will never, ever dine here again. read more

I was excited to try a new brunch place in a neighborhood different than my own... Nudy's sounded good! Plus they just opened a Nudy's in Ardmore which is close to where I live so I wanted to try it. The ambiance was nice and they had plenty of outdoor seating. However, The hosts looked unhappy to be there. The menu looked promising- there was a whole section of eggs benedicts! I ordered the crab Benedict, and my friend ordered the florentine Benedict . The food was disappointing. Very plain and bland, and served with frozen hash browns which were even more bland. Best pancakes I ever had! I have tried all of them, plain, banana, blueberry and I had to try the pumpkin. It was fantastic. One of these days I will try an omelete, until them I am quite content with the coffee and pancakes. read more

Yummy, fresh food! The omelette was great, very fresh veggies. Service was good. They seated us quickly even on a weekend morning and food came out fast! Pancakes were light and kids asked for more!
