My wife and I ate breakfast at the location on Lancaster Avenue. The food was excellent and the personnel were very friendly, giving outstanding service. The restaurant is immaculately clean including the restaurants. Popped into Nudy's for a brunch before going to a nearby store. Have been to the location in Devon before but first time at this one. Food was fantastic! Only complaint was that the only soup was cream of mushroom (blech!) I would usually expect a place like this to have at least two soups. Ambience was a little loud as these places tend to be. This is a nice Nudy's location in Devon/Strafford close to the Strafford train station and Whole Foods. It's located in a quiant old house. They have seating indoors and outside. The inside space is pretty small, so it's great they have the outdoors as well. They have a small parking lot and larger ones nearby. The breakfast foods are solid and so filling. I've loved Nudy's for years and am happy they are still just as good into the 2020s. The staff is really nice and helpful. They also play fun music near the kitchen. This is probably my favorite Nudy's location. Check it out! read more

OK, this is for the Nudys in Devon. let me tell you this place is excellent. The food here is always good. This is a very busy place sometimes hard to get a seat, especially on the weekends. I tend to come here during the week when I'm on my way to the bookstore in Devon I like to sit behind the counter, the waitresses here are friendly. The young black waitress behind the counter is a sweetheart. I wish I knew her name, friendly and attentive. My coffee cup was never empty .The place is clean, the bathrooms could use some work. This place is not cheap, but I always have a good experience here. This place is 10 times better than the one in Audubon. read more

Excellent place for a casual brunch. The menu options are huge and the outside seating was great on a cloudy summer day. Sadly I ordered a dish with pita which they were out of so I ate my food as a wrap. It was still tasty and came with chips. I wish they had other side options that came with my meal but I had a wonderful experience overall. The food was served hot and fresh. Finding the perfect spot for amazing coffee AND delicious food feels like striking gold. I stopped in here with some friends the other week for breakfast and a relaxing chat. It was still a little cold to be sitting outside, so we kept things indoors. It's such a cute little place. I can't speak for the other locations, but this one is very welcoming. The inside is very closely packed, but that doesn't bother me at all. I had the Tuscan omlette. I thought it was very good. The eggs were cooked evenly and had a smooth buttery flavor that I can still taste. The coffee was hot and fresh as well. I took a cold brew to go also. Overall, the experience was great. Old friends were passing through and had a brief time window to meet us for breakfast. The restaurant was not real busy when we arrived. We had good service and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our food was tasty, with huge portions that even satisfied a teen with a huge appetite. My one complaint is that our meals were not hot, bordering on cold, by the time we were served. So we stoopped by this place for a breakfast. We are so disappointed. The western omelet wws dry. I asked for multigrain and we got whole wheat bread. Some toast had butter on and some didnt. I think they recycled the left over toast from another table. Gross. The environment had broken window and the dining area was subpar. It reminded of a cheap 24 hr. Diner in the hood. Great place to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. It was very busy and the servers seemed slightly overwhelmed. Service seemed to be disorganized. We had two or three servers and they were constantly overlapping. I had ordered a side of bacon and never received it. I didn't say anything because I was afraid it was going to disrupt their service even more. I'm always weary of ordering omelettes and I was reminded why. Eggs are so delicate and easy to ruin. My girlfriend ordered the French Toast, which looked good but was described as bland by her. I got Huevos rancheros, which was a real letdown - it looked like a salad on a plate, and was a bit mushy (also missed a tortilla). We went during brunch over a weekend. The restaurant was incredibly noisy, to the point where our waitress couldn't hear us and ended up getting our orders wrong. The food came out incredibly fast, but the food wasn't good quality and inconsistent--the potatoes were simultaneously over and under cooked, pancakes were doughy, and bread was burned. Their seating is uncomfortably tight so you feel like you're sitting on top of other customers. Overall would go to another Nudy's location as the quality was vastly different compared to other locations. read more

I was in town for a conference and stopped by for a quick late breakfast. The staff were friendly (although far outstripped the actual number of customers) and the prices are reasonable. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal and a side of sausage. The oatmeal was a generous sized portion and comes with three toppings; it wasn't as hot as I would have liked though. My server forgot my side of sausage - she apparently did not write it down as part of the order even though she repeated it back to me. So that was a bit annoying. The place is cute but I do have to note that there was a strange mix of smells in the air - cigarette smoke, some kind of unwashed greasy smell, and the smells of food actually cooking in the kitchen - that was a bit distracting and unappetizing. I think that if service was a bit more proactive and attention can be paid to these smaller details, the cafe can be even better. read more

We've ordered from this location for breakfast a ton of times. I don't think we can do it anymore. Had it delivered today...drink carrier had a bunch of mouse droppings. Maybe their supplier for the carriers have mice or maybe they have rodents in their kitchen. Not going to give them the benefit of the doubt on something like that though. Yet they continue to proliferate like rabbits. My past experiences: * Eggs Benedict: badly poached eggs with hollandaise sauce from, may lightning strike me, a box atop a cheap, stale English muffin... * Omelet: sloppily made and stuffed with cold, shredded, from-a-bag cheese... * Bacon: cheap and flabby (despite requesting well done) * Potatoes: they somehow manage to cook their potatoes so they are burnt outside and pure mush inside... As a solid home cook, I can tell that nothing, but nothing here is made from scratch. Beyond mediocre. When the best you can say is "it's affordable," well, that's the best you can say. read more

How does one ruin hash browns? Is salt even in the same room when they cook it? I haven't been to the actual restaurant, and order through doordash, so I understand food might arrive soggy, cold, etc. I am fine with all that. I get that. I order from plenty of places and the food still tastes good. But certainly the food doesn't lose seasoning in the drive over. The hash browns taste like they have been cooked in a dry pan, not even a whisper of salt, frozen, then thawed up and slapped on a plate. Please, I beg of you. Use some butter. Some salt. I felt like I was eating the box it came in. The eggs Benedict are fine, I guess. But ordered with the avocados and I had no idea avocados could be ~crunchy.~ if they aren't ripe, don't serve them. Disapppointing experience today. My husband and I went for breakfast. We were delivering to Wayne so this place happened to be nearby. My husband ordered Nutella (and Banana) Crepes and I ordered Pumpkin Cake French toast. I ordered 2 over easy eggs and pork roll. We got Banana crepes with ricotta not Nutella. I got scrambled eggs. Neither one of us got what we ordered. My husband didn't want to complain because "the plate looked nice" but it was not what he ordered. The waiter didn't refill anything and clearly we didn't eat the wrong items and we left quickly wasn't even a question. When we paid, the cashier asked if everything was okay and I told her "no, we got wrong orders" she said she would talk to him about it. Ok but you still charged us for food we didn't and are not going to eat. I get it's rough on restaurants right now - and I don't really care about the $30 (and yes I still tipped) - but it was the principal of it all. Couple stars for the Oj and the Pumpkin Cake French Toast. We won't be back. read more

I am a big fan of Nudy's Eastside Cafe in Wayne. My in-laws actually found it when they were visiting my husband and I from NY. I have only dined here for the breakfast menu but I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. My in-laws enjoy it very much as well considering that every time they visit we typically stop here for breakfast for one of their days. The last time I was at Nudy's I ordered the California Benedict. It came with perfectly cooked eggs, delicious hollandaise sauce, and perfectly ripened avocados. The tomatoes were a little disappointing considering it was the summer time when tomatoes are at their best, but overall it was a great meal. And they have great hashbrowns. I most likely will be going again for breakfast especially when my in-laws are in town. read more
