Overall, this place is great. There are no other cafes like it in the immediate vicinity and I would suggest going. The food is surprisingly awesome for a small cafe. The ambiance, decor and music are tasteful. The service is typically efficient and friendly. My only major complaint (and I come weekly and will likely continue) is that the table tops are always sticky and covered in food. It's rather disgusting and unappetizing. Maybe I'll start getting to-go more often. read more

Went there for a plant nite which was a mistake. They have a limited selection of wine and beer and none of it is appealing. While they clearly spent a ton of money on decor and making the place look good, they clearly skimped on the dishwashers in the back. After telling the person behind the counter that our wine glasses were dirty, She unapologetically told me shed get us new glasses. No sorry no let me buy a glass for your troubles. I don't even think she poured new wine. We told her there were bugs in it. It took a minute to get the wine and she didn't even bother saying anything when it was ready. The food is full of chickpeas and flavored like a hipster threw up inside of a whole wheat wrap. Wait staff was very confused when we told them the order was wrong and the second time they brought just the miso bowl sans meat and a side of chips. after waiting additional time for the bahn mi to arrive at the end of my meal I find a piece of short rib in my bowl. I am a vegetarian and clearly they just took the meat off and gave the bowl back-WHICH IS NOT OKAY FOR A VEGETARIAN. I've visited NU Cafe twice now, and can confidently say that I'm thrilled they have come to Union Square. Every dish or drink I have ordered has been delicious, and the menu is comprehensive with a wide variety of healthy salads sandwiches, smoothies, juices, and acai bowls. Thus far, I have ordered the Health Nut smoothie, the acai bowl topped with strawberries, granola, cacao, and coconut, the Sweet Potato Panini, and have sampled the Blue Money smoothie. Each was made right in front of me in the open kitchen and preparation area, and has been tasty. I know I'll be back quite a bit! read more

I absolutely love this cafe in Somerville. It's a great place to kick back on your own or catch up with a friend or too. They have an extensive menu for a cafe with plenty of vegetarian options. This is honestly my favorite restaurant in Worcester. It's a bit of a challenge to get to if you don't know the area (I always take exit 11 and go up Park St instead of braving Kelly Sq), but the overall quality of the restaurant is worth it. The food is great, they have plenty of healthy, low calorie options as well as gluten-free, veggie, and vegan options. The food is always awesome and comes out in a timely manner. I also really enjoy how the staff will bring you your meal, opposed to having to go up and get it like at Panera. I highly recommend their turkey burger or black bean burger! read more

+ The food is really good. There are a ton of options and everything I've tried so far has been good. The portions are filling, and the prices are reasonable. The smoothies are a little expensive, but they are flavorful as well. + All the staff are very nice, and they are willing to take the time to explain what each menu item is, or make a recommendation. - The only negative things I see is that the tables and booths are all a little messy.
