Went today, made an appointment online yesterday. Really easy to find location wise. Super clean and quiet at 1230pm today. I went in for a pedicure and a shellac/gel fill. Pedicure was excellent! Fill was great too. A little bit thicker than I like and the lady said she was going to do an overlay instead of a fill. Which is fine. Normally that's what my lady does I'm San Jose (I just moved here so I'm looking for a new spot) but my lady back in SJ makes sure that the acrylic powder is not super thick. Paint job was excellent no gel left on my skin which is a huge plus in my book.. Overall I am impressed just wish the acrylic powder wasn't so thick. I would recommend this place. read more

My daughter and I have been going here for pedicures for 2 years now. So when it was time for her prom, her and her 2 friends made appointments to get their nails done here. This was the first time my daughter went on her own without me and I had hoped they would treat her nicely, but they did not. She got a pedi and a full set of acrylic nails, which she has never gotten before. They did a terrible job. She went in with a picture of what she wanted; a French manicure with a glitter top coat and a simple swirl line design on one nail. The lady told her she could not do the design and didn't have any glitter. She put on a set that was way too wide for her petite hands and the nails were really thick. My daughter came home in pain and very disappointed. She paid almost $100 for the mani/pedi and wasn't even happy with how they looked and how she was treated. She kept the nails on for prom but I had to take her the next day to get them removed because they were hurting her so much. I am so pissed about the service her and her friends received and I will never go back to NT Nails again. Zero stars. Been going here for 4 years. I made a complaint to the front desk about rude and unfair treatment I experienced and asked to speak to a manager. I was told there's no way to reach owner/manager and that I could write a Yelp review. I did and the owner (Truong) responded rudely and didn't care one bit about my concerns or experience, or the fact I was a loyal customer. Instead, he contested my review and Yelp removed it citing due to it being related to "business health and safety policies" representative of Covid. Really? It was about the unfair and rude treatment, but this is how this guy operates. Don't go here if you want professional, transparent and good customer service. I'm defending this nail salon!!!! I just want to let people know that NT NAILS ON COFFEE RD. , Is the best nail salon that I've been to and we've tried a lot before we came here. There is usually five of us that go on the same day and they always take us. We LOVE Tracie, BeBe, Diane, Jenny, & Kenny, have always treated us with great customer service. They always tell me, "Hi Stephanie!" Remembering my name every time we go in. The salon is always clean, staff is always friendly & they have never hurt us. They do what ever we ask for with our nails and always try if they've never have done that style before. If a nail breaks because if done something to break it they fix it. I LOVE THIS Salon!!!! The first and last time I come to this shop. Paid for a I believe it's a deluxe pedicure for my husband and myself. All the treatments listed for that specific pedi never happened. I also had acrylic and gel polish done. Acrylic does not cover the nails, nails are filed crooked, and I was cut a couple times. The women who did the acrylic asked me if it was hot, when she clearly cut my toes. They have signs up to review them on Yelp. Well here it is. At this nail salon you clearly do not get what you pay for. The callus treatment and we asked for it twice. They were supposed to add coffee or lavender to the pedicure. That was not done. We offered to pay for callous treatment and it wasn't done. We did pay over $100.00 for services. read more

NAIL DAMAGE ALERT: I went i with shellac on my nails. My nails were soaked for a short time and the file machine was used to take the shellac off, in stead of soaking my nails long enough that the shellac would fall off/be scrapped off. My nails are thin naturally. Even a day latter, my nail bed still hurt since they are not thick enough to support the nail. The lower score is due to this single complaint of how they handled removing the shellac ( oh, and the lack of hand and arm message at the end). Truly moving people through like a cattle at a slaughter house. The review doesn't reflect the service itself. The nail tech was very nice, explaining the modifications she would need to do for my request for coffin nails to accommodate my small nailbed and thin(er) nails. I chose this place because I saw a lot of photos on yelp where people had coffin nails done. I was looking for a new place as I was totally unhappy with the multiple attempts for coffin snapping of my go-to nail tech. The shaping was better, but still lopsided: one side of the nail was filed more than the other (the tech's left side would get filed more than the side on her right). But she didn't over file (like my previous tech) so I was able to go home and fix it to my satisfaction. read more

Went today for the first time, won't be back. Repeatedly asked if they accept credit cards and specified I didn't mean debit or paying to use their ATM machine and was assured they took credit cards. After selecting my service from their menu, my technician kept asking me if I wanted a higher price service, I continued to tell her I wanted the one I selected. When I asked her to straighten my nail which she had cut crooked, she argued with me that she could not correct it. Finally another employee came and intervened and had her make the correction. When she was finished and I went to the counter to pay, I was told they did not accept credit cards. I told the cashier I had repeatedly asked and repeatedly was told they do. The Cashier told me that it was due to language barrier, that she didn't know the difference between a credit card and the ATM machine. I told her that if she didn't know then she should have asked someone rather than provide an incorrect answer which conveniently for them benefits NT Nail Spa as they receive a kick back from the ATM machine. I do think they're overpriced since some of the other salons around town are about $5 cheaper for the same services and better results. For starters I accidentally bumped my pinky nail after he finished putting the color on and he had to fix it, which came with a bunch of huffing and puffing and then he asked me if I "still liked the color I chose" and when I said yea because it's a pretty summer color he made a face at me and I said "the color isn't your favorite?" I have been going here for years. The service I received yesterday was about as bad as possible. I got a pedicure and she didn't even trim my nails. The cuticle work must have taken at least 5 seconds! The massage was only with the hot rocks and very brief. I did not check the total time she took on me but for $30 for a pedicure it was a total waste of my money. What a joke! The lady who did it was an older lady that is fairly new. The nail tech was patient and took her time. The hot stone massage is a great touch! My fill was ok. The nail tech seemed rushed, impatient, and not very approachable. Service was good, saw me right away. But the gentlemen that did my nails was nice. Although his filing needs more work. I felt nails were uneven and some were longer or shorter than the others. Came here for a pedicure as I have since they have opened at this location. This last visit was just horrible. Lady that did my pedicure, older lady with glasses and a tattoo on her left forearm (should've gotten her name), insisted that all 10 of my toes were ingrown on both sides. I told her they were not. So she clipped them on all sides and then yanked out what she clipped off. It was extremely painful. I told her many times my nails were not ingrown. She kept clipping away anyway. Well... now, three areas are very painful still and it's been about two weeks. Red, swollen and very painful. They're all crooked and not straight. I wanted to get my nails done for vacation and decided to get them done the day I left. I had looked up designs and found this cute but complex design of Acrylic clear golden stars and clouds and I showed them a picture and asked if they could do it and they said yes. She let me know she didn't have the exact shaped star charms but that's okay, we compromised and the ones she put on my nails look a lot cuter than the original design. I forgot to get the name of the person who did my nails but she was sweet and considerate. I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure but wasn't sure if I had enough time for the pedicure so she did my nails first. Everyone keeps complimenting me on my nails and asks where I got them done and I make sure to tell them to go to NT Nail Spa on coffee.
