Unfortunately, our experience at NV Nails was disappointing. The biggest issue was the time management and wait times. There were only four technicians working, yet multiple customers were repeatedly being told it would be a "20-minute wait," even though several people were already waiting. The actual wait ended up being much longer. My niece and her friends were also rushed through their nails because they were kids. Their services felt very bare minimum, yet there was still no problem charging extra. The most concerning part was when my sister's nails were cut to the point of bleeding. There was no acknowledgment, apology, or offer to make the situation right, not even a small discount. There was also another customer who was waiting for her manicure and needed to leave. I offered to pause my manicure and start my pedicure so the technician could finish with her and she could leave sooner. Despite trying to help them manage the situation, there wasn't even a simple "thank you." Overall, the experience felt disorganized and lacking in customer service. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those situations matters. Unfortunately, we left feeling like the customer experience was not a priority. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called and asked if he had time to do a soak off a gel manicure, granite it was an hour before they closed, which is why I called. He told me yes they had time. I told him I was five minutes away. He then said OK. Once I came in, I let him know that I was the one that called and he told me to pick out a color and have a seat so I did and I waited over 20 minutes and I don't know if he forgot that I was there or he just really didn't want to do the manicure and just do a soak off. My manicures & pedicures always come out exactly how I want them. The salon is always clean and comfortable. I've been coming here for 2+ years and I have no complaints. I decided to give them a second chance The first time I walked in was 3 months ago, and the lady prepping my water for my pedicure scalded my feet! Like literally the top of my feet were red for 3 days.i come back today, with an appt for 6:30 pm I arrived at 6:20 I sat there until 7: 15 pm, They were very rude. Said nothing sat me down in the chair. Water was cold on my feet. My husband kept asking them when were they going to see me? They would ignore him when we finally asked them for a towel so I could just dry my feet off, the owner, said " they're almost done." I told him that that information would have been helpful 45 minutes ago. They are rude as hell in there, And I guess even with an appointment you're always on their time. I'm sorry I cannot speak for everybody, but for most responsible adults that actually have a life careers, children and spouses. If we cut out a certain time for appointments we expect to be seeing around that time. I could understand waiting around 10-15 minutes with at least some communication fine. They're waiting almost 47 damn minutes for somebody to open their mouth and say something is unexcusable! read more

I stopped going to nail salons for awhile until I found the team here at NV, I've had around 8 acrylic sets and not one has fell off unless it was my own fault. Charles, Linh, and another gentleman who does really well at acrylic sets have all done great work on me. I went in for a pedi & asked for French tips the lady said she could do them & they came out not to my expectations at all the lines were going from thin to thick & the lines weren't even at all. After realizing she was done & wasn't fixing them I asked if I could get them all white instead & her and another lady starting talking in their language just looking at me making me feel very uncomfortable & I can obviously tell she was upset but going out your way to make paying customers feel super uncomfortable is unacceptable! The pedicure was fine. The problem comes about when you pay. If you want to pay with a credit card, they force you to give them your birthdate and your phone number so they can spam your phone and probably sell your information with their "rewards" program they tell you nothing about. Secondly they charge you a fee to use a credit card. THIS IS ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA. This place is too scammy to be trusted. I have reported them to mastercard and the CA AG. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my 6-year-old daughter in to get her nails polished, and not only did the polish start chipping the very next day, we had to return to have it fixed. When I expressed frustration and mentioned that the polish seemed cheap, Charles--the owner--completely lost control. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he got in my face, yelled at me aggressively, and scared my daughter so badly she started crying. She's only 6 and now completely traumatized by what was supposed to be a fun experience. As we were walking out, he continued shouting at us in front of other customers. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially around children. No customer--let alone a child--should be treated this way. I will never return, and I strongly urge other parents to be cautious. A nail salon should be a place of relaxation, not fear and intimidation. read more

They do great on nails and service is 10/10. They give great vibes and are very professional and respectful with clients as well as gentle so they don't harm the clients. They are very quick in my opinion and experiences and it's my new favorite go to nail place. Linh does very good with nail art and design, she is also very nice and asks if the design looks good to u while also telling u if she can't do the design fully and she will make sure they look great as best as she can from what I've experienced. This placed used to be great. But they keep getting new people. This time I got just mani and pedi and only reg color not gel. Giving my nails a break. My husband got me a gift card for my birthday. I have a baby so can't just go back and forth and no I don't want gel either this time. I very much dislike if people want to their will on and even sabotage their work to get their will done. It's my money I should know how I spend it. Update I went to talk to the owner there. He was beyond rude. He let me know that he wouldn't even honor what was left on the gift card. He started yelling at me, he was verbally abusive He wouldn't let me speak. I never lost my decorum I never threaten him. I feel sorry for him because he told me This is AMERICA and that he doesn't have to give me anything. I just wanted to be serviced not asking for free stuff. And I quote told me "you can call the board, the police, complain but I could go ahead and give my gift card to someone else my friend or so". I went there to talk to him early in the morning when there were not too many customers. I wish I would've done it when more customers were there. He was yelling at me and I never raised my voice. I even told him when are you going to let me speak. There was a customer there and he went ballistic off on me. Not once did I threaten him, yelled at him. Definitely my new go to place ! I popped in before closing for a quick gel nail for my hands and toes. I did have gel on my nails already but that wasn't an issue and they were able to get me in and out of there in about 45 minutes. The people there are great; a man did my toes and a lady did my hands (both very kind people). They took their time cleaning up my nail shape and length. $$$ wise it is also affordable ! The place is very pretty and there is no overwhelming smell of nail products. They seem to have a lot of other services there, including microblading and waxing. I'll be going here more often. Located in a very busy shopping center... drove around to find a parking spot (before one opened up) but called ahead of time and was told they could do 2 pedi-cures. We walk-in as someone walked out.. and was immediately greeted and handed the nail color books and samples to choose as there was 2 techs already prepping our water for us. We both (my daughter from another mother) sat anticipation the massage chair... the water was hot but not too hot, just perfect for me. My daughter ended up getting some acrylic added to her toes and the techs were zipping away at our toes while we sat comfortably in the relaxing massage chairs. We both ended up getting the regular pedi-cure with gel (this was my first time getting gel) and it was hands down the best experience I've ever had for a pedi-cure. My experience differed a tiny bit from my daughter as the only downfall with her experience is she wanted a small "J" on her big toe and it ended up being the entire middle and not too well done. I will post a picture, she wasn't too happy with the results and was expecting a fancier "J"... in any event we will definitely be back here and even told my cousin to come here. Moved into the neighborhood about two months ago and am so happy to have found a new, CLEAN nail place! NV Nails also just opened and they totally remodeled the space to make it as luxurious as a strip mall business can be. Love the colors and materials used. It's run by a husband and wife duo and they work hard! The facility is constantly being cleaned and they use hood protocols for cleanliness. They really take their time with the services offered and make sure you're satisfied with the results. I think the only downside is that they are trying to build their business and don't have a ton of staff yet if you wanted to come do pedi/mani with your gal pals. They also offer eyebrow services... not sure if I'm brave enough to try that yet! I hope we continue to get new businesses in Century Center! read more

I really wanted to like this place. First the lady's were so nice and so much fun. I enjoyed their company and they made me feel welcome. My pedicure was amazing, so no complaints there. My nails are another story. I showed her how I wanted my nails and it wasn't similar to picture at all. I wanted French tips, but I learned now I probably should've said I wanted curved French tips? She started off on my pinky and it looked OK and I figured she wasn't finished with the process so I let her continue as she continue doing my French tips. they are very thick and not curved at all. The French tips went straight across, which didn't look good at all, unfortunately I didn't say anything they were so nice. I felt bad for complaining. I was able to use a discount but as soon as I got to the car, I took one look at my nails and knew I couldn't live like this. I ended up go to another nail salon to get it fixed, it's partially on me because I should've said something, but I didn't wanna bother I paid and left I'm not sure if I'll be back if I do I will probably stay clear from the French tips. read more

I made an apt for a full set gel and a gel pedicure. The total was 100, which I didn't think was bad. The place was nice and clean, however I don't think I would return. Pedicure heel scrub was not even a minute on each foot .. so didn't do anything. I got the express pedicure that didn't come with much but I am glad I didn't pay for a more expensive one because I would have been more upset. Heel scrub should be the same across all types of pedicures and should be more than a minute. My full set was okay, will probably have to get them redone because one nail is bothering me. Not happy. Currently sitting in the shop after having gotten into the most awkward, unnecessary and extremely unprofessional argument with the staff. I got a pedicure and asked for a regular nail polish. First problem was, the color that I selected wasn't as bright in the reg nail polish color so I asked for it to change 'cause I wanted it to be bright...the guy got annoyed with me 'cause I kept asking for a new color 'cause what was in the book that they have isn't the same as what's in the bottle (none of our fault). Finally found a color (my 3rd option) and the job was spotty as hell and the texture wasn't great so I asked the guy to correct it (he was basically rushing the job for who knows why cause there were only 2 custys) but it just got worse so he told the lady to come over to help, got up and left clearly annoyed. Thankfully she tried to correct it, and she did after the other guy tried to convince me that they couldn't because of some bs excuse he came up with. I told her that he shouldn't take what I'm saying so personal since I'm the one who has to walk around with my feet looking like that after paying with MY $. The guy who seems like the owner started talking to me with all these excuses blaming it on the product to which I replied "okay, that makes no sense. So what, I pay for a service and walk around with it looking like that. Plus, why are we arguing? This is horrible customer service and is very unprofessional. Im the one paying for the service and I'm just asking that it'd look nice." I told him that I normally do my nails on my own but wanted to treat myself to their service since I just got done with my work stretch of 15 hr days...his reply was "well then you can do it yourself at home, why you come here?" And I was stunned. Because I wanted to PAY FOR A SERVICE. Why do I need to explain that to a business owner? Mind blown! I stopped talking to him because it was pointless. I don't get why people take it so personal, I pay for a service with reasonable expectations. Don't be in the service industry if you don't want to serve. *I'm pretty sure the owner will come back at me with more petty, confrontational bs based on the responses that I saw he reply with to other patrons when he has the time! And I hope he does because it'll further prove my point in the post! I am writing this review for Charles and his wife who were working on my nails. I had never been to NV Nails prior to this incident and I called in to schedule my appointment. His wife removed my previous acrylic set with a fake nail because they did not want to take the time to soak off the acrylic. LAYERS of my natural nails were ripped off and the glue or pre-treatment they used burned my nails. I told his wife that she damaged my nails and she passed me off to Charles so he could continue removing my nails with a fake plastic tip. I mentioned the condition of my nails and was ignored. His wife comes back to work on my nails again and I show her my inspo pic (milky white w/Pearl chrome) and she starts using clear acrylic and in the past I've only had colored acrylic so I was concerned. I asked if she could use white instead of clear and she says "my husband will work with you". She has me wait for 25-30min waiting for Charles and once he begins working on me I start asking if they can do what I'm asking for and he says yes. While he's working on my nails I ask if we can go with a white acrylic because his wife used clear and I wasn't understanding their process. Charles starts YELLING at me while explaining how he's going to do the service then slaps a little of the white polish on my nail and says "SEE. DO YOU GET IT NOW". Obviously I didn't expect this reaction since I am asking questions to make sure I am leaving satisfied. I stayed quiet and he asks "how old are you" very rudely. I respond with, "why does that matter", and he doesn't say anything. When he asks if the shape of the nails look good to me, I noticed that they were uneven- the shape I wanted was coffin. He says they are going to look that way because my middle fingernails are different than my other nails. I've never been told this so it's obvious he either didn't want to fix the nails or he didn't know how to get them even which is fine, but be honest. When he starts applying the chrome I notice that it's more blue/pink holographic than a true Pearl. I asked if we could do a chrome that matched my inspo pic and he got annoyed and said we don't have it. After the service, my nails were in more pain than usual. I called and asked for a refund and tried to calmly explain why I am asking for the refund in the first place. He said "I work with you for 2 hours and you expect me to give you a refund?!". I continued explaining why I am asking and even offer to go back in to have the nails removed because I was uncomfortable and unhappy. I hadn't asked when I was at the salon because I wanted to get out of there ASAP. Then, Charles hangs up on me and I called back about 5 times. He blocked my phone number, too. Below, I have attached the condition my nails were in. On top of all this, the implements they used on my nails were NOT clean. I will be reporting this business/nail tech to the board of barbering and cosmetology. Improper practices result in unsatisfactory nail health and I do not support this. read more
