I had a good experience today. Jackie is an excellent communicator and provides excellent customer service. She is the only reason I returned to this location. My previous experience was not so stellar. There is a man there, I think goes by Jack. He is absolutely awful. When I brought my daughter in the last time, I reminded him to be careful of her cuticles because he had cut them the last time and they bled. He got so mad he actually left. I was in shock. Jackie was very apologetic. I decided to give the place another try. I had Giselle today. She was lovely and did an amazing job on both my nails and toes. My daughter could have done better & gave better customer service. It's sad that there's no nail places these days that literally don't argue with their customers. While I'm getting my nails done the last next to us is expressing how she's not pleased with her shape. I look at my nails & realize the shape is shitty too. I then ask the guy to fix the shape n he gets upset n huffs and puffs! All these nail techs want our money but yet don't want to put in the extra work to get it. What happened to the customer gets what they paid for being good? My nails look like my 6 year old did them. Straight up trash! I had my nails done and she did an amazing job on my nails but she had cut me with the file a few times this is just one of three of the cuts on the side of my nails. I would get my nails done again with her because she did a good job she just needs to be more considerate of where the clients natural nail is and where the fake one is. I made an appointment online and they were ready for me. Very nice pedicures. Very nice staff.

Just paid $160 (including $27 in tips) for me and my two daughters to get fills. Not what I was expecting to spend on three fills, especially since when I booked the appointments online it said it would cost $30 per fill. When we originally got full sets at the Floyd location, they were $45 each, so we spent nearly the same amount ($2 less) for just the fills, which I find ridiculous. Separately, one fill cost $45, another $40 (same manicurist) and the last $48 (second manicurist). For the $48, two nails needed repaired, otherwise we had the exact same services. Still shouldn't cost more than a full set, even if one entire hand needs new tips. When I asked why the differing charges, I was given a side-stepped response, stating "Sometimes it's just confusing." Not only the huge discrepancies in charges, but one of my daughters was cut by the file multiple times, which we did bring up. In addition, I had to wait until one of my daughters was done to receive my service, while walk-ins immediately were seated and their services started. I am a licensed cosmetologist myself, so I understand the business. I have been going to NT Nails on and off for years, but I will not be returning anymore. Update/reply: I wasn't given another option, only gel. I wasn't even told I was getting gel. I was told I received gel when I checked out, and that gel looks better and lasts longer. There are ways to complete a nail service without cutting your customer, and there is protocol to follow when cuts are made. I think Board of Barbering and Cosmetology needs to be notified regarding the fact that your facility reuses files after cutting customers. The lackluster attitude, and defensiveness towards consumers is not acceptable. By the way, I got a call stating that if I took this review down, I would be refunded the $13 overcharge and receive 15% off my next service. read more

Absolutely the most unclean facility ever. I should had walked out immediately but didn't and that is my own fault. A questionnaire was sent from the company and I had written in detail the issues that needed to be addressed. I asked to be contacted to further discuss the matter and no one contacted me. I have nothing negative to address with the service, just the cleanliness. We will not be returning. I went to this location for a gel polish change and manicure. The last time I went they took 40 minutes. This time it was an hour and a half. The guy cut me really bad on my pinky. I came here on Friday for a manicure i am a cosmetologist & i myself did nails back in 2019 so i know what a manicure should be like & all of that! The service was very fast i did not have time to sit back and relax. The man that did my manicure was rushing through it all! I chose a light pink gel color and when he was curing it he didn't even tell me to take my hand out he would move the LED light to my next hand with my hand still in! The hand massage sucked. He massaged my fingers for 5 seconds and bam done. It is now monday and my nails are already chipping!! I am so sad i spent $33 on something i could have done myself! I really wanted this to be a nice place it looked really nice in the interior but I asked to come at 4:15 because I had something to do and they said I couldn't because they close at 5 when I got there they had me waiting in the chair till 4:45 I literally could have came later the pedicure chair was very uncomfortable it was hard and the arm rest were very far apart so I couldn't even get comfortable when they finally did my nails she cut me 3 times I was bleeding on my white nails after it was done my nails didn't even look good there was paint on my skin and it was a very rushed job I got gel manicure and she only did two coats when normally every other shop does four or five I'm really disappointed and will not becoming back here read more

So I have visited other locations from this nail chain and had a very good experience. I recently moved to Modesto and wanted to treat myself to a nail day. Since this location is so close and new I was all in. From the moment I walked in, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Not welcoming at all. I had an appointment and was taken right away but the guy that did my mani barely had time for me and I felt rushed. It is a beautiful place but I felt like none of the technicians wanted to be there. When getting ready to pay, I was again made to deal with the lady in front that was the receptionist and I also believe a manger since she seemed to be running this location. Her attitude and underwhelming demeanor just made me not want to ever visit this place again. Fix your attitude and make people feel welcome. I would have been a frequent returnee, but I'm afraid I will not go back. Gel nails are good, price is high for the quality of service though. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I feel like my experience was pretty mediocre. Let's start with the positives. Positive: very pretty! The people are friendly and they have their system down, you pick your color once you're in the chair, you walk in and go wash your hands, and they communicate for what you want. Negatives: the pedicure chairs although very pretty are not comfortable, the massage is barely felt and they just sit straight up and down. My 10 year old daughter came with my and just got her nails painted with shellac, no manicure and they charged $20, but if she would've gotten a manicure with shellac it would've been $25, so the manicure itself was just supposed to be $5? Granted they had a discount going on because of the new opening-which I appreciated, but had they not had that discount I feel like that itself was a little overpriced. I guess lesson learned to do the whole manicure next time. A negative that may have been a different experience if I got another employee: my massage was terrible, she barely rubbed the lotion on my legs and had zero focus on my feet, I literally came home and had to put lotion on my feet because they felt dry. OVERALL: not overly impressed but not overly disappointed. I'll try it again and hopefully will have a better experience. read more

Very poor pedicure! Nails were cut too deep and uneven. Caused one toe to bleed and poked another that caused a knee jerk reaction (pain). How is it that there are other spas that don't charge additional for what seems to have become an industry standard? Already have shellac on? Add an extra $5. Had an appointment to get a fill, when I arrived, the guy at the front told me it was going to be a little and asked if I wanted a pedicure while I waited. I said sure, well little did I know I would lose my appointment time for my fill (the original reason for my appt). When I questioned him about it he said "well you wanted a pedicure" I told him I wouldn't have taken the pedicure had I know upfront that I would lose my spot for the fill. So I just did my nails yesterday and I'm so upset the polish is coming off already. The lady that did my nails I don't think she was even trained. She made so many mistakes and I had to remind her to add the top coat to seal the polish and my nails were offset. When the nail tech went to ask how much my nails were they charged me $15 extra for a polished marble. Today that polish marble that was extra didn't even last a day.
