Customer Beware - Unprofessional Service and Poor Workmanship!!! I took a spoiler to this body shop around the week of July 18 to have it sanded, repaired, and painted. I had already received several quotes from other reputable shops ranging from $350 to $600. This shop quoted me $180 and assured me I wouldn't find a better deal, so I decided to leave the part with them. I was told the work would be done in 3 days. When the work started taking longer than expected, I brought in additional small parts (mirror caps and rearview camera covers) to have painted, for which I was charged an extra fee. The job was finally "completed" around July 28 -- well past the promised timeframe. Upon pickup, I noticed immediately that the spoiler had not been properly prepped. It had been painted over obvious imperfections, including cracks in the primer and rough textures -- issues no professional shop should ignore. When I raised my concerns, I was told that I had only requested a paint job and not repairs -- which was completely false. Still, I agreed to pay more to have it redone properly. I was again told it would take 3-4 days. I didn't receive the repainted part until August 9, and even then, I had to return during my lunch break to pick it up. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not inspecting it thoroughly at the time. That weekend, I discovered that the spoiler hadn't been repainted at all -- only spot-treated and polished in an attempt to hide the flaws. Paint was chipped in the detail lines, and overall, the work was not up to standard. When I returned to the shop on Monday, they refused to even inspect the piece and insisted it had been painted. I requested a partial refund, which was flatly denied. Instead, they said they would repaint it again, so I left the spoiler once more. I called on August 14 and was told it would be ready by Friday. When I showed up on Saturday the 16th, the spoiler had clearly only been patched again -- not repainted. The painter even admitted they had only started working on it the day before, and under instructions from management, had only done the bare minimum. When I confronted the manager, instead of taking accountability, he blamed his worker. The discussion quickly escalated, and the manager became belligerent and aggressive. He began insulting me, calling my car a "piece of s***" and told me to take it off his property. He accused me of trying to scam him, ironically saying, "You're a scammer, and I know you are -- because I'm a scammer too. I know how to work the system." He refused to provide a receipt and said he wouldn't give one because he didn't want me to sue him. He even threatened to throw the spoiler in the trash if I left it behind. When I returned with my phone to document the incident and request a receipt in writing, he continued to act unprofessionally and refused to comply. Final Thoughts: This business is not only unprofessional and dishonest, but they also appear to be operating in a way to avoid legal and tax obligations -- requesting cash payments and refusing to provide receipts. Their behavior toward customers is unacceptable, and their quality of work is far below industry standards. read more

The insurance company totaled my 2004 Lexus IS300 sportcross.. (Look it up it's rare). I received very expensive estimates. Then and brought my car here. It seems the quarter panel is different from other IS300 and he found one and repaired it at a very good price. Looks like it never happened. This is what he did for my Mercedes and my husband's Mercedes. - The lid of the trunk was no longer easy to open. He found out the latching mechanism is no longer working properly so he fixed it to make it work for free. He even discouraged me to have the latch replacing right away. He said let's wait until it becomes really necessary for me to replace it. - I had deep scratches on my rear bumper. He charged me $200 to repaint it. I had some minor repainting done on my car, which only took a couple of days to do. The price was reasonable and the work was fine, but when I got the car back, I discovered that the bag of change I had hidden in the bottom of my console had been stolen. It was only about $15 I use for parking meters. When I brought this to the owner's attention, his response was basically "Okay, thanks for letting me know." He was not at all shocked or apologetic. I wasn't expecting the money back, but I would expect a little more accountability. I know most car places have a disclaimer about stolen items, but I've taken cars in before for services and body work and never had this happen before. If his employees have to dig through the customers' cars for money, he may need to pay them more or maybe set a standard that theft is not okay. In any case, I'm not using them again if I can't trust their employees and I have to worry about what's gone missing after I get the car back. read more

When I first damaged my brand new car and looked for places that provided quality work done to fix the damages, all I found were high priced auto shops. It wasn't until i came to NP Collision Center that I decided to stop by and ask for a quote as I showed the damages. Andrew was very nice and gave me an affordable quote better than other auto shops. After seeing the results not only was the price well off, but the quality was professionally done! I'm going to keep coming to this auto shop. The dent was taken out and fender fully repainted. As well as the front bumper was redone. I got the back of my car hit by a hit and run driver and that was also fixed for a good price. He's even respectful enough to provide customization service if you're not familiar on how to add on certain modifications to your car. I brought my 350z here to have a crack repaired on my front bumper and have it re-painted. Very nice staff and their pricing was cheaper than other quotes that I received so I decided to go with them. After getting my car back, the first thing I noticed on the drive home was that there was a bump on the driver side floor. When I got home, I looked underneath the car and saw that there was a dent in the sheet metal from what I can only assume where the car was lifted from. It made me wonder about what they're doing at this shop since I'd think positioning the car to be lifted is sort of auto repair/auto body 101. I brought it back the next business day and Andy had it corrected within a couple of hours at no additional cost. But that wasn't my main concern. The crack has been repaired fine but the paint doesn't quite match the rest of the car under certain lighting. It's pearl white. I understand that it will never match 100% and that the bumper being a plastic material contributes to that. Also, with the car being exposed to wear and tear and weather for over 10 years, the color is definitely not what it was when it rolled off the lot. However, I've had this same exact bumper re-painted a year ago and while it was not an exact match, it was a noticeably closer match than what NP Collision has done. So the prior shop must have done something to compensate and try and match it as much as possible. I called back and spoke to Andy again to ask if they can redo the paint or at least blend it in. His response was that if I really wanted to, he'd paint the hood and two front quarter panels of the car so that it would match the bumper but also stated it would "cost you a fortune". My first thought was that he just doesn't want to deal with me anymore and doesn't want to work on my car anymore. But, I asked again to be clear if he'd be willing to blend it. He simply restated that he'd have to charge me to paint the hood and two panels. This would not be an option for me regardless of price because it sounds like it would just make more parts of the car not match the rest. He tried to assure me that pearl white tends to turn yellow after 4 to 6 weeks due to the nature of the color so it would match a little better with the rest of the car. I've heard this before but have yet to experience or see it myself since it did not turn yellow when it was painted prior - at least not that I noticed. So, I I'll just wait a few weeks to see if it gets better or not. If you're thinking of taking your car to NP Collision, I'd make sure to be very clear as to what you want done and be extra cautious if your car is a color that tends to be hard to match. They either don't have the ability to or just aren't willing to put the effort into paint matching the actual car instead of the factory paint code. I made the mistake of assuming that if it was a noticeable difference, they'd automatically try and blend it in. read more
