I made an appointment with Red to fix couple rock chips on the hood he painted for me (its not his fault at all). Not only did he fixed all the small chips on the hood. He went above and beyond to fix a crack line i had on the mugen front lip. He's blending skill is amazing. Couldn't even tell my front lip had a crack at all. Saved me another $800 right there alone. I bought an S2000 with an aftermarket front end, and hated it. Got connected with Paul from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend and got a quote to source, paint, and install a front end. I went to the store, and was greeted with a 997.1 911, an TL Type-S, and an M4 Competition. I think I was in the right place. I didn't want to work with a place that was going to slap paint on and call it a day. We talked back and forth over the course of a week, and decided that I was going to move forward with an entirely brand new OEM front end.. I was assured that if I saved $2-300 buying used, I'd easily spend that money back 10x in time and repairs alone. It made sense, and I'd choose that plan. Dropped the car off early July and got it back in August. OEM hardware was used, body gaps were aligned, the hood closed on the first try. Paint match is AWESOME and best of all matches the factory finish. The factory orange peel is matched (which takes TONS of skill), and isn't too "perfect", but doesn't look like stucco. I'm incredibly happy that the team at Expo was able to resurrect this car. Easy to work with. Great prices. Fast turn around time and quality work. read more

This is a review based on my experience a few years ago. I chose this place because it was on my insurance approved auto repair shop list and it had good reviews. They might do a great job on auto body but customer service is lousy! The estimated pick-up date was inaccurate. I was kept waiting 2 weeks longer than they claimed. The day finally arrived when I could take home my car. Seemed like they did a good job with the paint and repair but on closer inspection my front bumper did not look the way it did. When I pointed it out, service rep said my original bumper model was no longer in the market, that that was the new kind and insisted it was better. It would have been nice if he had warned me about the difference because it just looked odd to me and took a very long time to get used to. There was something else that looked off but I couldn't tell what, and he insisted it was good to go. It wasn't til I got home that I realized that the front plate was missing. I opened the trunk and the mat and my cargo net were missing too. I called to tell them and the service rep claimed he would look for it and get back to me. Later in the day I call again and he says I am free to look around his shop but he does not see them. I get there and he did recover my mat after a very long wait, which showed that he lied because he said he would look for it when I called but he didn't really til I arrived later in the day. He could not find the cargo net that had come with the vehicle. He tells me the front plate was never on my vehicle when it was towed over and how it got lost during the accident and I should reorder them from DMV for a minor fee and just walked away. I asked if he would pay for the plates and he said no because it was not his responsibility and that a lot of drivers do not bother with front plates and it would be fine without it. I left unsatisfied knowing that my plate had been on my car. Later in the week, I return and the rep pretended to look for it and said again I needed to reorder it myself and walked away. No one else was available other than these auto techs who looked like they were taking a break and completely ignored me. Finally one auto tech seeing that I would not go away asked me what I needed. I showed him the picture of what my car looked like which showed that even though the front was severely damaged, the plate was still firmly in place. He walks to the back where it looks like there is a mountain of auto body parts and debris and hands me my plate asking if that is what I was looking for. I am grateful he found it and he helped put it back onto my car but I should not have to look for my own plates when they guarantee their work will be in the pre-accident state! . It was a horrible frustrating experience with no to little communication on status of repair. Service rep was shady and dishonest. I would not recommend this shop at all. read more

Superior work at a fair price. It was a nice, clear morning. A friend needed help to move from his Temple City home to Lawndale. This was a calling for the Beast, aka Land Barge. This 17 footer, 2.8 ton-er met the needs to move the last bit of large furniture left in TC. So, this guy decides to back out the Beast and make his way to TC. Were both mirrors checked before reversing? Nope. Crunch. What was that? Jumped out of the truck only to find that there was a rental car parked in the driveway. The little rental car's mirror jabbed into the Beast's quarter panel. Literally, a scratch was all that was left in the rental car's mirror, but the Beast, being a drama queen, decides to buckle its quarter panel. The damage was done and friend is still in need of help. Hopped on the 10, and headed west. It was nice to have the freeway close to home, back in the C-town days. Anyway, the move was successful, but the Beast was injured. A phone call was made to Expo. They did great work on an old commuter and it was decided they can patch up the drama queen's quarter panel. Turn around was in 5 days. That's pretty quick when considering the Beast's Arctic Frost Pearl requires several coats of different paints to match. The body lines were matched perfectly as well as the paint. Seamless. 3 years after the incident, the paint is still holding up. Expo offers a lifetime warranty on their work, so if the paint fades - which is doubtful - they'll repaint it. 5 stars for normal damage repairs. 4 stars for custom work. Had some body work done in my car with no complaints at initial glance, waiting to see how long it will last. They even get it washed and looks good, only thing is make sure you take your valuables, I guess with anything if you leave your car for long time, they just took my change that I've been accumulating and while it shouldn't be a big deal, it's the principal, get a life and leave shit to yourself, and they left the interior dusty as hell, all in all, exteriorily looks good just don't get inside. read more

This shop is awesome, took my 4-runner to get fixed .which was hit on the front... All the parts were from the dealer and my paint match perfect. The Customer Service rep. help me to contact the Insurance Co. right away and I was able to get in a rental thru Hertz I was surprise that it was handled so fast... They have a nice office and friendly people.i find it hard to find a body shop that is honost and call you to keep you posted on the repairs till its fixed.. Avoid this body shop by all means. Got into an accident a few years ago we went to this auto body shop, It took them months to get us our car, we were very patient with them and very understandable we just figured it was going to take some time to fix the car but we didn't imagine it was going to take over a quarter of a year. We were very naive, it was our first major accident. When we finally got our car there was so much wrong with the car. The car was still drivable when it first got to the shop because we had it stored at another body shop and they were able to drive it instead of having to tow it around or haul it around. They kept on trying to use our warranty on the car. For things they were getting paid for. Again I don't care I just wanted my car. They received 10k to fix our car. When we finally got it it wasn't even detailed I had the wrong size battery. The lights didn't work. The alarm system didn't work. The car didn't even start. They literally tried to give us the car without it starting. Horrible they didn't even have somebody inspect it before they tried to give it to us. They were like well here you go take it. Like where are we going to take it it didn't move. I hate this place, I hate this place to say the least. Customer service sucks. Nothing but a headache and huge regret. On top of that there's a shady guy there that supposedly claims to work for a lawyer and that he's going to help you but I soon as they get the check they don't, he disappears. I don't want to get into that part of the experience, they know. Lesson learned. They got us good. If I could I would give this place no stars, I would. I'd like to add that they broke a major part of the car while taking out the engine and they tried to tell us that we had to pay for it but then they said they would pay for it out-of-pocket because they had already received 10,000, which was another stress. GO TO ANOTHER BODY SHOP, YOU WILL THANK ME. They can't say my review is false. This was my experience and I regretted it. There's plenty in the area to choose from. It's been a few years and it gets me mad every time. I was going to report them to the BBB, and DCA. I don't have time for that so here's a review, a fair warning. Horrible! Just Horrible! The BMW 528i was struck while parked and was brought to EXPO by tow truck. EXPO tried to get me to authorize the repair of the car for 14,000. I inspected the car. It was parked up and against a wall, so I couldn't see the front of the car. EXPO told me the car was damaged in the rear, NEVER mentioning that it was also damaged in the front. After being threatened (via voice mail by Patricia) with storage costs if the repair was not immediately authorized, I moved the car to a different body shop. EXPO is an authorized State Farm Body Shop and is NOT allowed to charge me storage fees. EXPO called me a few days later and didn't know my car had been removed, and was surprised that I didn't pay any storage fees. RIPOFF??? So, where is my custom amplifier and speaker from the trunk and where are my BMW wheels, EXPO? read more
