Duh! This location was recommended by a friend who has a good relationship with this business. Idk the name of the man who attended to my vehicle, he already had cars lined up to get fixed at 9am. Asked me to park it and would give me a call by 12. He called in the afternoon about 2 when he finally diagnosed it, gave me a quote and let me know he can start the next day (tuesday) so he can get the parts and latest it would be ready is Wednesday. He showed us the old parts, we test drove the car and immediately felt the difference. I am happy and satisfied with the quality of work, the information provided and for the man showing the faulty parts removed. This is truly a family shop run by the owner (Aung) for many years. I've taken multiple cars to him to fix and he's literally saved me thousands of dollars. He simply does a great job at an unbelievably reasonable price. His shop does get very busy, so I recommend going early in the morning and on weekdays if you can. I had a misfire and ck engine light on and went to Longo Service, quoted $450 for diagnostic, and was advised to replace intake manifold , egr valve, egr pipe and wanted to do another compression test for $1150 more. I refused, paid the 450, then went rising star to another auto shop 15 minutes away. They found only a coil problem. gave me a tune-up, replaced 2 coils, and reset my engine light. I would have spent at over 3000 at the dealership, not including tune-up and possibly engine problems. After all that was advised and boasting quality of work dealership performance, coils were never recommended. With the amount they charged and how advisor boasted quality at longo, their techs should be held to higher standards. read more

There was one instance where I was thinking about changing all the shock absorbers for my car because it had been very squeaky and unsteady but Aung checked my car and told me I would be fine with just changing two because the others were fine. He could have earned more money for telling me to change the other shocks and I wouldn't have known the difference but he cared enough to give me the exact solution I needed. He gets the job done, does it for a fair price FAR BELOW OTHERS, and takes care of your parents. Took my 2015 Honda Accord for a simple throttle body housing cleaning due to built up carbon and charged me $45! The Honda Dealerships were charging $200 and another independent mechanic was charging $125. This includes flashing the idle so your car doesn't rev all crazy. Aung helped me replace my corroded positive (+) battery terminal.... but later found out that wasn't the only problem.... Battery was faulty too. Sears charged and tested my battery a week ago and told me it was good. After a week went by and got my battery terminal replaced, the battery dies and Sears now tells me that the battery is bad.
