Jose came out to the house to inspect he skylight which included him getting up on a ladder to the second floor. After checking things out he provided me with an estimate for the repair. Fast foreword to the repair, the gentleman came (I cannot remember his name but he was nice and professional). He was able to complete the repairs in a few hours and thankfully the process was pretty straight foreword so it didn't require any extra materials. I was relieve to find a contractor that could work on the skylight and get that repaired since I wasn't expecting have to deal with that issue. I would certainly use them again should I need any roofing work.

I got special permission to telework so I could be here. Literally less than 1 hour before the appointment, I got a call from John asking if I can reschedule. I told him that I could not but I was not able to talk so I called him back about 30 minutes later. I made it clear that I was very unhappy about this because I had taken the day to have him come over. John said, "I'm not gonna make a bid deal about this. I'm telling you we're not coming today and do you want to reschedule?" I was very disappointed as his tone was clearly dismissive. There was no explanation as to why this happened or an attempt to be apologetic. If this is the kind of interaction I get when I'm trying to decide to hire you, what will it be like when I've already given you guys a deposit? It's too bad because the reason I reached out to them was because of friend of mine had a good experience with them. These guys ought to realize the importance of personal references. But in July 2025, the roof started leaking again. Since the roof and they work they did had a warantee, we called ASA to come repair. Twice, they scheduled with us to inspect, and never showed up. They finally did after weeks of numerous calls, voicemails and emails. However -- we never heard back from the inspection, and now, in September 2025 (months later) we had a big leak again. We emailed them to come back out and to hear the results of the July inspection, no answer yet (two days later). Not a great experience with ASA. I'll update this review if the company responds and promptly resolves the issue.

We secured 8 bids for this job. Our zip code attracts contractors with very high estimates on a lot of common services. Summit was honest, up front, and engaged in the process. The owner came out to talk with us, gave us leads to see their work, and shared their reviews. Their bid was honest, fair, and more very detailed. Timeline, materials, services, delivery, and contingency were spot on throughout the project. Summit Roofing is a family owned business that is vested in every client relationship they have. The project manager was in touch by phone, text, or onsite every day. Best part is that they are big enough to have the materials needed on hand, if not 24 hours away. They shaped and cut the panels in the back yard ensuring that every piece fit and waste was eliminated. Fit and finish was outstanding. The recent rain and wind storms (late June 2023) were the perfect test, our new roof was unfazed. The staff is personable, sincere, and pro-active with their communication. The installation team stayed on schedule, and never missed a timeline or project goal the entire time. The work team checked in with us daily, gave us progress updates, and set expectations. Although I wasn't ready when they first had availability (they were willing to get me as soon as I contacted them), they were able to get me scheduled just two weeks later when it worked better for me. Shannon was wonderful to work with--very patient and thorough in answering all of my questions as a first-time homeowner going through a roof replacement. The pricing was reasonable, the quality is excellent, and I'm very happy with the look and color of the shingles. They were willing to send techs out for color matching, and I even had a technician come by to check on another exterior concern so I could receive a quote for that as well. The shingles themselves look very thick and high-quality. The crew was fantastic--professional, timely, and efficient. They arrived at 7:00 a.m. and had everything cleaned up by 3:00 p.m. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to pay online once the work was completed. Let's break it down: Honesty - I called Rob at Roof Fanatics after getting the high-pressure sales pitch from two different companies in a row. I was dreading getting another quote. Rob's entire ethos is the anti-high-pressure pitch. He told me what I needed to know, gave me options, and then let me decide. His prices were very fair and super competitive for the level of attention we received. We also needed to delay work while we addressed a non-related structural issue. Rob was patient, and never pressed us to move faster than we were comfortable with. Attention to detail - After coming by to look at the roof, we asked him to come back to look at the siding as well a few weeks later. Rob remembered my dog's name - this might be a minor thing, but it spoke to the fact that he was paying attention, and treating us like a valued customer (before we had paid him a cent!), not just another stop on his route. He personally inspected the work after each crew had finished - siding, roof, gutters. He noticed things down to the last screw, and took care that everything was done to the highest standard. Quality - Our house looks @#%! awesome. We started with an old roof that, cracking vinyl siding, and gutters that were not getting the job done. That eye for detail - the discontinued shingles - convinced our insurance company to cover the entire roof. Rob also worked with the insurance company to get the other roof covered as well. He did a great job on the roof and gutters hence why I used him for my siding, but the siding has some issues which need to be addressed. I recommended Tony highly to neighbors who have used him and have given him a lot of business, now that I need him to come back to discuss some of the concerns I have he is not responding to my texts, calls, or emails. I am very concerned of this lack of communication and for this reason along with the issues I am facing with the recent siding job I cannot recommend him. I signed a contract stating there is a 10-year Labor Warranty stating " This warranty guarantees that your siding has been installed with the utmost of care and for 10-yrs if there is any siding installment issue doe to craftsmanship by Water Shield LLC, the siding issue will be rectified with the labor free of charge to homeowner". I plan to utilize legal services to ensure this binding contract is followed.

BRAX advertises a twenty five year workmanship warranty, but when their own installed flashing…read morefailed, they shifted blame to the skylight to avoid honoring it. What good is a warranty if they'll find any reason not to stand behind their work. It almost feels like their warranty exists as an opportunity to generate more business rather than honor a promise, since instead of standing behind their work, they make excuses and then turn around and offer additional paid services to fix the very problem their warranty should already cover. We had BRAX Roofing replace our roof back in 2021. Recently we discovered a leak near one of our skylights that caused interior wood rot. We first contacted a skylight specialist, who confirmed the skylight itself was fine, these typically last around thirty years, and told us the leak was likely a flashing issue that should be covered under our roofing warranty. Following that advice, we contacted BRAX. Two of their inspectors came out first and confirmed new flashing would be installed. Their production manager, Daniel Angel, personally confirmed the same, that they'd replace the flashing and repair the rotted wood, and they even arrived with lumber to do the repair, then took it away without explanation. Today we received an email from Boris Cardenas, a managing partner at BRAX, saying they are not responsible, now claiming the leak is from the skylight's gasket rather than the flashing, contradicting everything their own staff told us. Throughout this process, it's felt like an emotional rollercoaster, we were told repeatedly that this would be fixed, watched them bring materials to do the repair, then had those materials quietly taken away without any explanation, and now we're being told none of it is even covered. We feel misled and deeply disappointed after paying for a full roof replacement.

When I eventually went up to take a look I didn't see evident spots of leaking but I saw the roof needed some attention badly, plus I knew my gutters needed replacing.
