We had some tears in our siding from removing our deck. He was able to purchase replacement pieces. The original manufacturer could not provide individual pieces but Jorge found a similar one that is nearly identical. Jorge approaches issues creatively. Instead of just replacing the siding (which was at a very visible spot in our backyard), he decided to take siding from the side of the house that is covered and use that at the back of the back of the house. That way, the siding all matched in the back where people hang out. The new pieces (which were very close to the original pieces) were put up on the side behind bushes. Total clown show. I call the number and a guy going by the name Jorge answers. I tell him the job is for a Gable Vent on my home. I email him hi-res pictures of the job site with excellent perspective details. He then says that his son Jorge can do the job. So I email with him. We setup a time to meet. He shows up late. And then looks up and proceeds to tell me he underestimated the height of the vent and does not have a ladder which will reach the Gable Vent. He says let me see if I can find an appropriate ladder and I'll let you know. A little later in the day he says he will not be able to come back so we re-schedule for the following Monday at 9:30AM. At 10:33PM the evening before I receive this text: Hello Sir, I'm very sorry but I won't be able to keep my 9:30 appointment tomorrow. I was going to try to fit you in but I'm flying out to Texas for my wedding on Tuesday and I need to do final preparations tomorrow. I sent an email about getting a quote and received a quick reply back from Jorge. Once I sent a picture of the damaged tile, they quoted me a price and were able to get out to our home in a matter of a few days. He was late getting to the house but was prompt about calling and emailing me to let me know that the previous job had run longer than expected. He took a look at the job and told me he could probably come down off of the quoted price as it wasn't as bad as originally thought (wow). Recently our split-level home's siding near the roof was damaged by high winds. One piece was ripped away from the house and about four pieces buckled. After reading reviews of siding repair contractors on Angie's List and Yelp, I contacted the Siding Doctors, spoke with Shannon, and emailed photos of the damage to help them prepare an estimate. Ten (10!) minutes later Jorge emailed me a very reasonable estimate which was the actual final cost. Since it was too late in the day for Jorge complete the work, Jorge came out the next business day to fix the damage. The tech came early, because he was in the area. No call, or anything. It would take at least 30 minutes for the second homeowner to speed it home. The tech said he had to be in to be in Bristow(?).I'm in Sterling and maybe could come back later. He asked to be shown the problem and he would give us an estimate. No paper. No cell phone for pics.
