Excellent Work and Professional Owner and Crew! The existing roof soffits and facia on my parents old house were rotted and falling apart. I contacted several different companies and when I contacted the Mark Meredith LLC company, the owner himself, Mark Meredith, agreed to meeting with me personally in the evening to review the proposed work that needed to be done to repair the roof soffits and facia. Mark took the time to walk around the entire house, and he pointed out the work that he recommended needed to be done immediately and the work that could be deferred for some time. Talking with Mark, I found him to be very knowledgeable and friendly. Mark ultimately recommended that roof soffits and facia on the entire front of the house and the front of the garage be replaced with brand new PVC to replace the existing Particle Board roof soffits and facia. Whereas the other companies were only recommending repairing the damaged areas. I agree with Mark that all of the roof soffits and facia most likely should be replaced, and we agreed on a mutually acceptable price. My wife oversaw the work done by the Mark Meredith crew, and she was very impressed with the professionalism of the crew and was pleased with their politeness. Additionally, my wife reported back to me that Mark was correct in his assumption that all of the existing roof soffits and facia was rotten and needed to be replaced, as she watched the old existing roof soffits and facia "come off in rotten chunks". Our old wooden deck was rotting and in need of rehab. Carl gave us an estimate to replace all the deck surface boards with a qualification that depended on the amount of rot we had in the old posts supporting the deck. Finally found the ideal contractor. Dealing with Mark was a pleasure - he immediately understood the problem, schedule and method, and he formulated a practical solution. No drama or uncertainty - just quick and to-the-point action. The guys arrived as planned and worked together safely and quickly. Workmanship was top-notch and the pricing was very fair. The work was difficult eave work and required working at great height from uneven ground and in unbearable heat. But they performed the work like a ballet. They were in/out quick and left the site cleaner than when they came in. The guys are long-time company employees, not subcontractors, affable and each are craftsmen. Had these guys replace our roof, which was pretty expensive. Roof then leaked twice in two years. The first time, to their credit, they acknowledged it was due to their work. The second, they blamed it on something else. Both times I asked them to come out and do the interior work caused by water damage, which was part of the warranty. I requested an estimate for some roof repairs recommended by a home inspector. An employee named Mike responded quickly (by phone and email on Apr. 5, 2021), and we scheduled an onsite estimate for the next day. I happened to be disposed when he arrived 10 minutes early, so my wife, who is Indian American, let him know that I'd be down momentarily. But instead of waiting a minute or two, he told my wife the roof needed to be replaced (without inspecting it), he would only speak with me, and he would send me a follow-up email. I came down just in time to watch him get into the truck and drive away with his buddy. I would guess he was on the property no more than three minutes and it was still prior to our scheduled meeting time of 11:00 AM! I'd have been glad to listen if there was some sort of problem or to accommodate some sort of emergency, but I didn't get the chance. I don't want to assign a motive for his behavior. All I can say is that it was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with someone trying to earn my business. (A week later and I have yet to see his email.) read more

Another company installed a sump pump and drain in my basement due to foundation leaks and left the drywall, carpet, and baseboards unfinished. We hired Mark's team complete the following work: (Room 1) bought all materials, finished, primed, and painted the drywall, primed, and stained the baseboards, install flooring we purchased, and finished/filled in some uneven areas. (Room 2) Same as room 1, except stretched/reinstalled the carpet under shoe molding. (Room 3) Troubleshot several leaks in basement entrance/foundation, fixed areas, tested it, and put everything back together. We thought they did a great job! The only thing we now need is a carpet cleaner to restore what the water damage did and it will be perfect! Highly recommend him and his team.
