ASA Roofing inspected and repaired our roof in April 2024. Antonio was great during the inspection, and the crew seemed to do quality work. Prices were fair. But in July 2025, the roof started leaking again. Since the roof and they work they did had a warantee, we called ASA to come repair. Twice, they scheduled with us to inspect, and never showed up. They finally did after weeks of numerous calls, voicemails and emails. However -- we never heard back from the inspection, and now, in September 2025 (months later) we had a big leak again. We emailed them to come back out and to hear the results of the July inspection, no answer yet (two days later). Not a great experience with ASA. I'll update this review if the company responds and promptly resolves the issue. read more

Buyer beware. This company is dishonest and hopes that you don't inspect their work or know what to look for. I signed a contract with them for several repairs on a mixed Slate and EPDM roof. I specifically asked if they'd had worked on these and was assured they did. Their estimate and contract indicated they knew what to do and how to it properly, with specifics like "Copper counter flashing to be inserted into the mortar using a reglet cut, bending the top 1" of metal and inserting the copper into the mortar". Unfortunately, they don't do the work they quote. After they "completes the work" and sent me an invoice, I noticed that they never even touched the EPDM portion of the roof. They replied that they had done the work and would send photos. I then sent THEM photos of areas they had included pictures of in their estimate that needed repairs with the defects still in place. They sent a team out to fix it. After thinking twice about the fact that they'd lied about this part, I reluctantly got out my ladder and climbed on the roof to inspect their work. They had done nothing short of sloppy job that I could have done e as a DIYer. Instead of soldering holes in tge copper flashing (which was in the contract), they put down a blob of sealant that didn't even cover the holes. I stead of inserting the chimney counter flashing into the mortar as priced, they simply glued it to the chimney and covered it with another sloppy blob of sealant. They left large holes in sealant they did apply and caused damage to portions of the roof not previously damaged during their "repairs". This company clearly has an experienced and knowledgeable inspector and estimator who will put all the right things in the contract...but good luck getting them to actually complete the work as paid for. read more

I did business with ASA Roofing a year ago. They took a deposit from me for services rendered, and never returned it. I've reached out to them and my phone calls have been ignored. They called me not too long ago to tell me that they had changed ownership, but when I looked up the change, the company had merely been transfered from Veronica and Antonio to their daughters in order to avoid paying a large amount of debt. This is my second time using ASA Roofing. I was referred to them by Ken from Roof.net. The team from ASA Roofing was quick to respond to my email and set up the appointment time. But both times I had to set up a second appointment because there was a mix up with the scheduling. That was very irritating. The quality of work was great on the first job. Everything looked as if nothing was done to the side of the house. I was extremely pleased. The price for the work was reasonable. As for the second job, I was not so happy. A piece of my house siding came off from the wind. They came and fixed it but only fixed that one piece. They didn't secure the surrounding area. When you look at it, you can still see huge gap between the sidings. Everything from start to finish took less than 20mins and that cost more than $500. I wrote them a check and asked them for a receipt and they said they will give send it to me shortly. That was 2 days ago. So we'll see. read more

I have used this company for several years for both my rental properties and my home. I was referred to this company by another business owner who was too busy to help me at that time. I am glad to have found Antonio and his team. Every time, Antonio took a lot of pictures to show and explain to me what the issues were and how they were going to fix them. I have a house with stone front wall, for many years, there was water leaking in the box window area, the issues were not fixed after caulking around the window again and again by some other company. As soon as Antonio inspected it, he pointed out there were cracks between the stones which caused the leaking and he fixed the issue. They are very honest and do not try to charge you to perform unnecessary work. His prices are very reasonable. I will continue using this company to meet my future roofing needs! After several rainy days, water started dripping from a bathroom exhaust fan in my home. I called ASA Roofing for help and in just under an hour, two crew members arrived at my home. One climbed a ladder to my roof (yikes 34 feet up) and one came into my home to go up into my attic. The one who went into my attic was very careful to wipe off the water from his step ladder, remove his shoes before entering my home, and using a second pair of shoes that he carried up and put on before getting into the attic with all that insulation. He quickly found not one but two small leaks coming from two roof exhaust vent openings. Instead of just telling me I had leaks, he showed me pictures of them. The two crew members temporarily patched over the leaking vent holes to stop any more leaking until permanent repairs could be arranged. A couple weeks later, ASA Roofing was able to get me in to their schedule and came to permanently fix my roof leaks. They did a great job, were very courteous, and cleaned up everything. They also did a great job in matching up some shingles that needed to be replaced around the vents. I will be giving them a call when it is time to have my roof reshingled. read more

It's such a waste of time contacting the ASA Roofing. They went to our property to do an estimate and I had to make a follow up everyday just to get the estimate and diagnosis on our roof. After 2 weeks of almost calling them everyday, they still don't have the estimates for us. And every time I am calling them, they will say, they will contact the inspector named Austin and will say that they will get back to me or I have to call them back. And no one get back to us. I'm glad I used this company--they are very honest and do not try to charge you to perform unnecessary work. I was referred to this company and immediately had a great impression speaking with Antonio. Then he transferred me to the scheduling department and the lady on the phone was very professional--she was able to schedule an inspection for the very next day. Milton (roof inspector) is superb! He arrive promptly on time and was very professional! He inspected both my roof and attic and said my shingles and attic support beams were in good shape, as I suspected since my house is very new. He noticed rusty nails on the shingles and took many photos to show me, and then with my approval he promptly fixed them all and sealed other areas on my roof. This is a stark contrast to the other company I spoke with who wanted to add in more support joists in the attic and replace my shingles--unnecessary work as my house is only 5 years old. [EDIT: After writing this review, someone else from ASA contacted me to apologize, offer a discount on future work, and promise that they would be changing their procedures to avoid another situation like this in the future. My original review is below.] I didn't hire ASA, but they did a roof inspection on my house before I bought it last year, and I found it misleading and incomplete. The sellers hired them to replace part of the roof and to inspect the remaining portion and make any necessary repairs. In the contract, ASA listed a few minor repairs (individual shingles, exposed nails, etc) and said that "After these are resolved the roof should have no issues." However, this year we had a roof leak on this section because of an ice dam, and multiple roofers who came to assess it immediately noted that there was no ice and water shield, which would've prevented the leak and is required by code for new roofs. When I contacted ASA about this, they said they were aware of the lack of ice and water shield and told the sellers about it, but since they didn't recommend replacing the full roof, that wasn't part of the repairs. If you know a roof is lacking a protection so basic that it's required by code, it's misleading to describe that roof as having "no issues," even if you don't recommend changing it at that time. Had ASA been up-front and included that information in their written inspection, we would've known what to expect this winter and could've made our own decision. Instead, we've paid about $1100 to remediate water damage indoors and are looking at at least a few thousand dollars of work on the roof. I have no reason to believe that ASA does poor roofing work, but this omission and their response when I emailed them were very disappointing, and gave me no interest in doing business with them or recommending them to others in the future. read more

ASA Roofing is a seriously crooked company. ASA Roofing charges interest on late payments at an annual rate of 487% percent. That's not a typo. Four hundred eighty-seven percent. ASA Roofing defines "late" as payments that do not arrive in thier office within 14 days of the completion of work. That's not a typo either. Fourteen days. And to help ensure that payments do arrive late, ASA Roofing does not mail bills. And if you want to pay by credit card, you have to call their office during business hours to get credit card payment info and pay an additional charge. ASA Roofings business practices are in violation of Virginia law. More importantly, these business practices are unethical. read more

I hired ASA on referral to install two bathroom ventilation vents and ductwork. They initially installed uninsulated ductwork (I requested insulated to avoid condensation issues) because apparently there was an internal miscommunication. I contacted Antonio and the guys came back and fixed it. While I was annoyed at the mixup I appreciate ASA fixing the issue at no extra cost, and the work looks to be well done. read more

ASA showed up quickly to provide a quote for flashing repairs on my roof. I received pictures before hand and pictures of the repairs afterwards. Antonio identified the problem and the team showed up on time to complete the work. We are satisfied with the work and felt the price was reasonable. I can't give ASA 5 stars because their front office work is poor. I found them unresponsive to multiple emails and required calling to schedule/ask questions. It's clear they are busy and this is likely a result of good reviews/work, but they need to improve the front office component of the business. We moved in to our house just over a year ago and soon after had a small leak in our roof after a heavy storm which was deemed as wear & tear by insurance. The jefe came to my house and checked out the situation. While he was doing that he made some comments giving me some pointers about general roof care. It rained the day of the appointment. I didn't expect them to come; but, I thought they would call to reschedule. The next day, they just showed up. We contracted ASA Roofing to install a roof dryer cap. They showed me pictures of plywood that was rotting. They made a quick dash to Home Depot to get new plywood. And, everything was fixed in one visit. I had a bit of back and forth on payment. I paid in full the same day, and I received a receipt by email. But, it there was a delay on their end receiving payment via their 3rd party. In the end, it was resolved. Also, I had request a copy of the photos, and it took them a few days before I got them by email. Overall, great work. No issues there at all. From the moment I contacted ASA I knew I made the right decision. Antonio called me shortly after I contacted him and set up a time for the next day. He completed a site survey and walked through my roof issues by showing me pictures taken so I could clearly see for myself what was going on (no way I was going on the roof!). A few days later I received a quote to repair the problem with an option to address other work that would become a problem is not addressed in the future. In my search for a roofing company, I interviewed 5 different companies. Of those 5, only two actually went up to inspect the roof and give me a reasonably accurate assessment of what I needed. Not only was ASA Roofing one of those, they also informed me that I had enough storm damage to possibly qualify for insurance assistance and should pursue that first. Long story short, I qualified and they became my roofing company choice. Although I received excellent customer service, and the job was done in a more than acceptable time frame, there was an issue with one item that had been high on my list. It took extra time and effort to get that completed but they did finally finish it. If I could, I would give them 4 1/2 stars - just don't feel comfortable giving 5. read more

I found a hole in my roof on Sunday afternoon (apparently the squirrels have been busy) and posted a call on Angie's list. While several firms were recommended, only ASA responded with a promise to come in Monday. The owner arrived as planned, reviewed the damage, offered what I thought was a very reasonable price to fix the damage on the spot. The work was completed quickly, efficiently and professionally. While on the roof, several other issues were observed and priced. As they were not critical, ASA will return at a later date to complete the remaining items at a reasonable price. Very happy with ASA Roofing. They did our roof a year or two ago, and I was very happy with the quality and communication. Their customer service is great. In fact, we have an ongoing project here at the house that required some roof work. I was concerned with my contractor's plan for roof integration so I called ASA and they sent Milton out. Milton took the time to look at what was being done, and in the end was able to reassure me that my contractor's plan would in fact work well. I also wanted to share that I called ASA to provide positive feedback for Milton and ASA's VP Camilla was very happy to hear it and she shared some background on how they view their relationship with the community. We have had to do a lot of work on our house in the past two years, which has involved hiring a lot of companies and contractors. I can say their responsiveness and service is uncommon, especially since nobody wants to have to replace their roof. I would highly recommend ASA. read more
