Impact exteriors responded to my request for an estimate on repairs to my balcony. They responded quickly and their estimate for the job was substantially lower than an estimate from another contractor. They were actually able to start the job sooner than expected, and completed it quickly. While Brian was on site I asked about also pressure washing the both my balconies and they accommodated that request, and then my additional request to re-caulk areas of the balconies. Throughout the process, I found the quality of the communication and the work to be excellent. Highly recommend! read more

We worked with Brian from Impact Roofing & Renovations for new siding and trim on our home. He helped us choose a style and color that really improved the look of the house. The crew paid attention to the small details and everything came out beautifully. Brian checked in throughout the project to make sure everything was going smoothly. Highly recommend. read more

We had Impact Roofing replace our aging roof a month ago. We are so glad they were able to fit us in before the major snow/ice storm as our old roof was wearing thin. The quote was competitive. The team was fantastic. Delivered materials the day prior and showed up promptly to begin work. Everything went incredibly smooth--the crew finished by late afternoon. Mason was friendly, professional, and available for any and all questions. The biggest relief is knowing we went with an experienced roofer that guarantees the quality of their work with an outstanding warranty. We are so glad we went with them over other options in Frederick. Looking forward to not needing to replace this roof again! read more

Brian at Impact Roofing & Renovations replaced our roof and installed two new skylights. He was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out ventilation issues we didn't even know we had. The crew did great work and everything looks amazing. The skylights bring so much more light into the house now. Brian clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. read more

I wanted to share a rare experience with Kiley from Impact Roofing. I called looking to obtain a quote to reattach a wooden plank that was coming off the top of my home adjacent to the roof. The location was too high for me to access without climbing onto the roof, which I was not comfortable doing. In explaining what I needed to Kiley, I was amazed that Kiley took time to understand my issue and then recommended I NOT use her company, because for such a small job the company's minimum billing threshold per job would exceed what my repair should cost. She did not want me to overpay! I explained I was having difficulty finding a handyman/repair person who was comfortable climbing onto the roof to access my repair, which is why I called her company. Kiley subsequently worked with me and found another repair person who would do the repair at a much lower cost, who I ultimately used. I was amazed with the interest Kiley took to help me find someone to repair my issue. I sincerely appreciate her assistance and honesty- she has gained a future customer! read more

Impact Roofing, was one of the first companies to respond back to my Yelp Request, when many didn't. They came back with a Precise and through quote. And then they came out in one day after scheduling and did the repair. They were a little pricey, but they were honest and reliable. I would use again. read more

Upon recommendation of my neighborhood, I reached out to Michael and Impact Roofing for assessment of my roof. Michael was responsive, walked me through what he found and next steps to work with my insurance company. A full replacement of roof, gutters etc. was approved by my insurer. Matt has done a very good job of keeping me appraised throughout the process. Materials were backordered, and changes in schedule occurred, but to an extend that is the nature of the business. Always transparent, I appreciate his coordination, and the teams dispatched to our house were all professional, courteous and hard working. The house looks great with the new roof, gutters etc. I hope to not have to replace my roof again, but if I do, I know who to call. For those in a similar situation, it does not hurt to reach out to Impact Roofing to discuss options. read more

I requested a quote for a leaking window and Daniel from Impact Roofing was incredible! He came by and spent the time and energy to fully diagnose the problem. This was amazing and made me feel confident in the solution he proposed and was a stark contrast to other companies who just suggested broad solutions without even testing anything. He also found causes to the issue that no one else found and suggested a cost efficient solution. I now know who I will call for the future issues! read more

We had such a great experience working with Impact Roofing. Our new house was in pretty bad shape, and our roof sprung a significant leak overnight. They came out and explained everything that needed to be done in great detail, with multiple options. In less than a week, we had a new roof. Due to the unique way our house was built, it's 70+ years old, unexpected debris/dust fell from our wood plank ceiling with all the movement on the roof. They paid to have a cleaner within a day to clean our home's entire interior. They followed up a few weeks later to ensure everything was going great. We plan on using them again on our next project, residing in our house. Competitive Pricing Excellent communication throughout the process Great customer service Fast work Thank you, Mason, Jeff & Team, for giving us a great roof! read more

Hands down -- an amazing company with even better customer service! We reached out to Impact Roofing via Yelp and they were so responsive and friendly! They immediately sent someone out for an estimate and within a week, we had the service completed on our roof! The technician who came out for the estimate was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer any and all of our questions. I would absolutely recommend Impact Roofing for any of your roof needs!! read more

Came in to help me with a leaking roof. James recommended a silicone coating. He was pleasant and the proposal seemed decent compared to other offers. The job was done efficiently, no problem. Fast forward less than 2 years later (meaning within the warranty) and I have a leak in the same spot..and enough to need walls taken down inside dut to mold. Called them up and was told I would get called back that afternoon or the next am and ...crickets...nada...this was over 2 weeks ago..therefore I DONT RECOMMEND THEM! I've since hired someone else to do the job they obviously didn't really fix right the first time. read more

The Impact Roofing team is incredible. They do excellent work, approach all of their projects with professionalism and deep industry knowledge, and their customer service in unmatched. Impact's prices are extremely fair and they seem to go above and beyond for their customers. I purchased a unit in a three-condo structure that was built by JAZ Construction Company. Within a month of purchase, I had significant leaks throughout my home, and it became clear that the builder did not properly install our property's roof or my unit's flat roof deck. We spent months trying to work with the builder to address the leaks, but the builder offered no help and our home sustained more and more water damage. Then, Impact Roofing saved the day!! Impact Roofing handled three separate projects with our property to address different issues with the roof and the flat roof deck and since their work on our home, we have not had any further issues with leaks. Different from a lot of companies, the senior team at Impact (Mason, Ben, and James) were onsite for every project to ensure that the work was done correctly, and it's clear that they spend a lot time training the rest of their team. Beyond Impact's quality work, I was so impressed by their commitment to meet with the homeowners and talk us through the issues with our roof and the steps to repair. It meant a lot to us. I could not be happier with Impact Roofing and would recommend them ten times over. Thank you Mason, Ben, James and team for everything!! read more

Impact Roofing came out to review my roof, but when I had follow up questions they did not respond. I emailed and called the technician and the office manager as was told they would get back to me but they never answered my questions. Maybe the job was too small and they weren't interested, but they could have just told me that rather than ignoring me. read more

The skylight at my rental property had a leak so I contacted Impact Roofing. The admin staff were very responsive and friendly. Though following the initial inspection, the roofer, Mason, left me a message saying I didn't have a skylight. A bold statement to the homeowner. I called him back several times and he never returned my call. I was only able to speak with the admin staff. I even sent interior and satellite pictures pointing out the skylight. After following up the next day (still no call from Mason) I was able to talk to the admin staff (Mason had no problem answering their calls). Once they reached him, they called me back to say he was "no longer interested in taking this job" because he could not "safely reach the skylight"... that I apparently don't have. I have had several other roofers "reach the skylight" on my property before. That's literally the job of a roofer. *Update: Response to business owner* Mason's original message to me made it clear he didn't even think I had a skylight, so was clearly unaware of the flat part of my roof, thus, his lack of access to my skylight was not "safety". Additionally, he just called and left a message saying he *did* make it to the skylight but wasn't interested in taking the job because it was "too small" and "we have a lot going on". So which is it? Also, it was made clear early on to me that he was unwilling to try to access my roof through the interior of the house via the skylight (per prior correspondence with Ingrid), so even if someone was at the house at the time of the inspection, that wouldn't have provided him access per his reported constraints. I have no problem with a company making a mistake or not wanting to take a job, but at least be upfront and honest about it. I don't think that's asking too much. read more

I want to thank Jeff and Mason for their help with a roof inspection that was required for my home owners insurance policy. Scheduling was easy and they were very responsive. They were thorough and took pictures of the roofs condition for me to send to the insurance company. They provided me their professional opinion of the roofs condition and recommended that I have our gutters cleaned, they went above and beyond to help me get the inspection done within a tight timeframe. I would highly recommend them and will use them for future work! read more

Great job on my roof. One day service 8am to 8 pm. They brought a crew of 10+ people and were all in synch. Did a good job of protecting stuff from debris. Excellent cleanup afterward. Fabulous job on actual installation. Identified and replaced over 18 sheet of plywood sheathing. Supervisor came out near end of day to see if I was satisfied. I did have to ask that they leave a couple of bundles of shingles for future repairs if necessary. read more

We noticed water was leaking from our light fixture on the ceiling of our living room during a recent rainfall. We contacted Impact Roofing to assess the issue and to provide us a free written estimate. Jeff, Project Manager, arrived and proceeded with his ladder to evaluate our roof. He provided photos of where the leak may have originated. Our roof was 15+ years old and showed signs of wear and tear. Jeff promptly provided written estimates to repair and replace the roof. Jeff was very knowledgeable and customer-oriented. Staff was friendly and prompt in responding to my requests. Highly recommend! read more

Impact (specifically Mason) went above and beyond my expectations for a roofing company. I appreciated how knowledgeable they were. The sale didn't feel forced, I was educated on the process and was left to make my decision. Their pricing was competitive, and I believe I received the best value for my money. read more

I put out a request for bids on an improvement/extension to my roof. This was the third time I'd done this. Impact Roofing was the only contractor who called back and explained to me why the request could create issues in the roof and advised me not to pursue it. Other contractors had only said I wouldn't want to pay the high cost, and/or wouldn't bid. Impact was the first service that actually called me and explained technically what the extension would entail, how it would have to be done, and what the risks of the project were. They said they reached out so that I wouldn't think they were just putting me off. I really appreciate the personal touch, the explanation, and the time they took to ensure I did not feel disrespected. That's rare these days. Thank you. read more

During a heavy rain our (flat) roof started leaking. Upon the recommendation of a neighbor, I reached out to impact roofing & renovations and they were able to send someone out the next day to inspect the roof and give us a quote. I was really impressed that they took the time to show me the problems and explain how they would repair the issues. Their quote was very reasonable and they were able to schedule the repairs within a few days of our accepting the quote. The work took only a few hours and the team was on time and performed the work efficiently. I am very satisfied with their work. read more

These guys are great! I needed a roof inspection for my new homeowners insurance policy (they thought they spotted a couple of issues on my 10 year old roof) and James came out on time and did a complete inspection, with lots of photos and supplied me with a letter for my insurance company stating that the roof is in great shape, with no work needed. The company quoted price higher than others. Also they want to use white membrane which very different than a grey color.

I've been putting off getting a new roof. The worse to time to get one is when you have to. I was nervous because contractors know when you are desperate. They responded quickly and they were pleasant to work with. My roof was put on and I couldn't be happier. I even got a warranty in writing. I would recommended them in a heartbeat. read more

We asked to get a quote on a roof repair. Mason was at our house within 20 minutes of our call. He scoped the repair and gave us various option with varying degrees of cost vs. benefit. I really appreciate the time he took to provide the options, and explain the options so that I could understand the issues. I felt like I was well informed and certainly knew a lot more after that discussion. The repair was completed quickly. In addition, he spent the time to assess the entire roof, the minor issues that we had, and even just did some basic sealing and patching where he thought we could use a touch up. Very impressed with the overall experience. There was no high pressure to "oversell." I highly recommend this company. read more

Just had my roof replaced and everyone was wonderful to work with. Mason came out and did the initial inspection. He also came out when my insurance had their inspector come out. Ingrid and Kiley handled the scheduling and were very helpful as I picked the color. The installation team were so efficient with time. You could tell they've been working together for a while with how the work started immediately. It took 5 hours to complete along with clean up. Even one of my neighbors commented how amazing it was to watch them work. I'm in a row townhouse so they cleaned up my neighbors decks and areas as well. They left everything exactly how it was and honestly you couldn't even tell I had major work done on the house that morning. Ben swung by in the evening to check in. I will definitely use them again for any other home projects. Highly recommend! read more

Jeff, Mason, Kiley and the whole team seamlessly dealt with my roofing issues from initial contact to completion, listened to my concerns, adapted to my changing requests for repair to replacement, and provided a superior product.
