Great customer service. I originally brought my phone in because a piece of the headphone piece had broken off inside the jack. They fixed the problem quickly for a reasonable price. But when I got home I noticed that the phone would not charge. It died a few hours later and wouldn't turn back on not matter which charger I plugged in. I brought it in again the next day and explained the problem. It took another 45 minutes or so to fix it again and correct a screen flickering problem that had developed that day too. When it was finally done, the man fixing my phone genuinely apologized and even gave me a free phone cover for the inconvenience! I feel like in today's world it's so easy to feel like you don't matter as a customer to big businesses, but I really appreciated the customer service at Nova. Thanks! read more

Today I dropped my iPhone 4S, and completely shattered the screen. Not just cracked - shattered, with a huge chunk taken out of the top corner near the front facing camera. I took it immediately to the Apple store, where I was treated nicely but told they couldn't fix it. They could trade it in for a new phone for $200. So, I used yelp to search phone repair and was directed to Novafix. I walked in, showed the guy at the front counter my sad phone and he immediately told me it could be fixed. Thirty minutes later my phone was good as new! Truly- it's perfect! I grabbed an Otterbox case (no sense making the same mistake twice!) and paid less than $90 for the case and new screen. I couldn't recommend these guys enough! So happy! read more

I got my iPhone screen fixed here last year after I dropped my phone at brunch (too many mimosas) and they did it quickly for about $100. A few weeks ago the screen began to detach from the phone and I took it to Apple to have them repair it under warranty. Since the phone was repaired by a third party, Apple did not honor the 1 year warranty- they could tell the screen was a different color than the touch pad. I called NovaFix and after some persuading the manager allowed me to mail my phone to them to be repairs. I live out of state, so I mailed it to them and within days it was fixed and sent back to my house. They repaired it for free and even spent their personal funds to send it to me via two day shipping so that it could be tracked. All in all, this is a reputable company and that is why I have given them 5 stars! More companies need to follow this creed. read more

Not sure what the best rate is out there to have the screen replaced on a fourth generation iPhone (not the newest model, the one that came out a couple years ago). I've seen some places charge $70, others as much as $200 (Apple). This place charged $80 and then I used a yelp deal which brought it down to $65 total which is nice. They got it done in about 15 minutes while I waited and my phone is like new again. It was a painless, hassle-free experience. I'll definitely go there again especially since it's only a few blocks from where I live and I like to support local businesses. read more

When my samsung vibrant screen cracked I called my assurian insurance only to find out that there was a $125.00 deductible AND it wasn't covered because of a clause? I brought my phone to Nova fix and they quickly did the repairs. I am canceling my insurance because Nova Fix will be a better option. read more

Had difficulties with my Samsung S3 and after a full two days of not having a working phone and attempting to fix the situation myself, I gave in and went to Novafix. The guys seemed busy since they said they had a bunch of customers before me but said I could leave my phone and they would take a look at it quoted me at $50 since the power button wasn't working. I called later, and they said my power button was corroded, and replacement usually costs $60, but since they had given me that quote earlier they would stick with that price. Nice! I came in because my laptop wouldn't charge even tho I have recently just replaced the battery. I looked up so many tutorials and tried different things, but it would not charge at all. This place is AWESOME! I am in love with my hTC Evo and recently ran into some charging issues which left me without a phone for a couple of days. I almost went into convulsions. I took the phone to Sprint and informed them of this known issue with the phone. Due to the fact that I like to listen to music in the shower it caused the moisture indicators in the phone to show damage. WTF. Because of this they will not even look at the phone. Which I think is BS. They told me my only option is to file a insurance claim. $100 bucks. So being fond of Macguyver growing up and having some electrical experience I tried to fix it myself and soldering the part back onto the circuit to no avail. I was sure I did some damage in the process. Guess I have to file a claim after all. In comes NOVAFIX! Took my phone there the next day. They worked on it that same day. This place is a total hidden gem. I always used to walk by them on my way home from Dominicks and because of their unique sign I remembered them. When my iPhone was stolen I had no insurance and thus had to get a replacement. They unlocked the phone in 15 minutes! Then after a fall the screen on the phone went dim. I was sure I'd have to replace the phone. Fear not, they replaced the screen for only $50! Then I updated the software on the phone not knowing that is a no-no when you have an unlocked phone. They re-unlocked it for free and stayed an hour after closing to do so! I can't say enough how awesome this place is.
