Colorado Burrito
Ava X.

Notchtop offers a wide range of options for their breakfast/brunch menu. Out of which, dragons egg benedict was creamy and tasty, instead of the usual English muffin, this dish had pancakes underneath the eggs. We also got Colorado burrito, the portion size was filling, and the green chili sauce was WOW. Service was fast and they are happy to adapt, esp if you need to substitute a side for dietary preferences. Highly recommend!

Their latte was fantastic! Corned beef and hash just delicious. We came at the right time. Not so busy. Service was great.

Breakfast goals achieved at @notchtop2024! This Estes Park institution, named after the majestic Notchtop Mountain (12,129 ft!), has been serving up deliciousness since 1993 - that's 30 years of satisfying hungry folks! Talk about a local legend. The lines out the door prove they're the "belle of the ball" when it comes to breakfast, but don't worry, they're super efficient! We devoured the flavorful Corned Beef Hash & Eggs and the unique Polish Breakfast with those amazing homemade "platkes." Both perfectly seasoned and so satisfying! Already planning my next visit to try their tempting Coffee Cocktails and Mimosas. This place is a must-stop in Estes Park!

Breakfast tacos with green chile

Good traditional American breakfast spot with prompt service and a cozy dining room. The breakfast tacos with chorizo and green chile were delicious. French toast was tall and delicate. Kids devoured their pancakes.

We arrived here mid afternoon on a Saturday and it was fairly packed! We were able to be seated right away thankfully with our party of 2. Service was great and food came out quickly. Portions are generous and food is delicious! Would most definitely come again. It is lively and loud as a diner typically is inside. Family friendly!

This restaurant is located in the same lot/strip mall as Safeway, so there's plenty of parking available. The menu is HUGE and so much sounds good, so good luck deciding. I ordered the country fried steak, which comes with eggs, a choice of a potato type (I got hashbrowns) and a choice of bread (I got an English muffin). Everything was cooked well and was super flavorful, and portions were huge! Definitely come hungry. The staff were super friendly and always came to check if we needed refills or anything else. We definitely considered coming back during our stay in Estes but ran out of time. Would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful service, atmosphere and food! Dont know which is better! The views, the birch wall, the great service amd friendly staff or the excellent fresh hot food! We loved it all! Just remember there is always a crowd here so bring your patience ;)

This place offeres gluten-free toast, waffle, and pancakes. There milk alternatives are almond, oat, and soy. I ordered the gluten-free pancake platter; which was 1 giant pancake, 2 eggs, and 3 slices of turkey bacon (I asked for turkey). I got a side of gluten-free toast also. It was all very good. I tried the pancake without the syrup it was delicious. I got the real maple syrup; which was $2.49 upcharge (not the $1.49 online menu said) and it ruined my pancake. Also when the bill came the side of gluten free toast was $5.29 with the $1 upcharge for GF. Other than that everything I had was awesome. My hubby got the sausage and gravy platter and also loved his. He got the home fried potatoes with his. He really liked his meal, he felt there could of been more sausage in the gravy but he really liked the biscuits and potatoes. We also got lattes with alternative milk which were also good. Being this is a baked on-site and non GMO ingredient plus the food was good, we will be back! Tip: The home fried potatoes have rosemary in the herbs.

During the fall season, Pumpkin Apple Waffles. And a cup of elk stew. All of it very delicious! :)

After a beautiful hiking morning in the Rocky Mountain National Park, husband and I built up an appetite and decided to have brunch at this spot. Service was excellent. Hostess was friendly and our waitress was also friendly and attentive. The coffee here is great, no after taste or harsh bitter taste. They have a huge variety of breakfast and lunch options on their menu. When we went, they also had a seasonal fall menu. I was instantly sold when I saw pumpkin apple waffles. It was sweet, delicious, and fluffy just how I like my waffles. Also came with bacon and eggs. No extra charge for egg whites! I also had to get a cup of their soup. They had elk stew so I wanted to try it and it did not disappoint! It hit the spot on a chilly day. Very peppery flavor, it reminded me of something my nana use to make when I was a kid so it also brought back memories. I recommend this spot if you're in Estes Park :)

Breakfast Burrito and Cinnamon French Toast

Amazing place, very busy even at 10:00am but that's for a reason. The food was amazing, breakfast burrito with green chili was delicious. Not too many potatoes, quantities of chorizo and eggs were perfect. My son loved his cinnamon french toast with eggs and bacon. Coffee was delicious and the service was very good considering how busy the place was!

Santa Fe Hash

The service was great and we didn't have to wait for a table. They were very attentive and our food came out relatively quickly, especially considering how busy they were. There were a lot of vegetarian options available. The coffee is only okay and my food was a little under seasoned. The Cajun tofu lacked spice but was the perfect texture (which many places get wrong). All in all a good breakfast/lunch place with something for everyone.

Cinnamon roll French toast!!

This place isn't the quaintest, rustic, mountainy place, but goodness the food is amazing! The service was great (thank you, Sasha).

A decent chai tea latte and plenty of Diet Coke from the start for my companion. Our server was personable and offered great insights on the menu. I opted for her recommendation of the Hikers Benedict with grits as my side. I was skeptical so far from the South, but the grits were well done although I like to cook mine with salt but many restaurants do not. The Benedict was amazing with asparagus, cremini mushrooms and a perfect hollandaise sauce topped with delicious bacon. Excellent! My companion had the Wisconsin scramble with potatoes. The eggs had a variety of cheeses and he said they were very good. I imagine on weekends this place can be packed but on a late Thursday morning it was a decent crowd. I'm angling to go back tomorrow if it isn't too crowded!

It has a front and back entrance, if you'd like to walk along the river to get there. There's a large public parking lot across the street as well. The barista made the cutest latte art for us! But it wasn't just appearance. The oat milk lattes were as delicious as they were beautiful! We tried some lattes at Inkwell yesterday, and Kind today. Kind was easily better, 10/10! It's a clean and cute shop. Good selection of coffee and breakfast and light lunch options. Also a small merch section - mugs, tees, coffee cups and canisters. We tried the salmon and cream cheese bagel with capers yesterday for lunch and they were great. My husband preferred the jalapeño cheddar bagel, while I was happy with the everything bagel. But the lattes were the real standout for me. The line was longest at lunch out of our visits, but it moved very quickly! The baristas were very welcoming and nice as well! All symptoms point to food poisoning. We will not be back. This was our first visit to You Need Pie. What we liked: Our waiter was really hospitable, friendly, and did his best to provide service in a timely way despite being the only server available for all the customers. The coffee was decent, though in a small mug, and so was the hot chocolate we orders for the kids (which came with whipped cream, much to their delight!). The decor on the walls felt kind of scanty but what is there was cute. There is a pretty wide pie selection. Food serving sizes were okay. The single person bathroom was clean. What we didn't like: *The $2 veg add-ins of onion and jalapeños to the $12 omelette were raw. *The corned beef hash was extremely basic and barely seasoned, the potatoes were well cooked but bland and pale. It was edible but not worth $15. *Our party ordered a $9 bread bowl soup and waffle fries as well; it was eaten but the cheese ingredient was really overpowering in flavor - the small size was a good thing, in this case, because otherwise it couldn't have been finished. *The batter on the chicken tenders in the kid's meal were almost burnt on the edges, but still pale everywhere else. Something off with the oil temperature I guess. They didn't get eaten. *The color of everything was pretty much all beige and served on white plates, which impacted the impression of the meal - zero visual appeal. One of my favorite parts of eating at mom-and-pop diners is the way the meals feel homey, warming you from the inside out. This did not create that kind of impression. Lastly, the pie (which was the main draw for us and why we picked this dining option). We ordered one slice of rhubarb at $6.25. The pie was very disappointing - something in it was either stale or had gone bad. It tasted really unpleasant and we ended up throwing it away. Our total for everything was about $80 with tip and it was sadly not money well spent. We love stand alone dining options but probably will not be returning.

We were greeted by a really nice blonde girl that showed us our seats. She was down to earth and was just beaming with great vibes. Then we got Matt. As if the experience wasn't already great from hanging out with friends, Matt invited us with an amount of aloha that is only found in Hawaii! We ordered chips and onion dip. The ramekin that the onion dip came with was really small compared to the amount of chips we received. It was delicious! Maybe substitute toasted bread next time? I ordered the poke and that was outstanding! It came with a creamy ginger dip that tied things together. For being landlocked and in the mountains, this is a dish I will remember! Matt also brought out a Hong Kong sriacha that definitely elevated everything. The reggae (music), positive vibes, and down to earth feel was a great way to end our trip before getting back to the grind. What a place!
