These cinnamon rolls are amazing! I tried the pecan, salted caramel, and original. The original will always take the cake. I got there at 7:40am (they open at 7:30am) and there was already a line. But they seem to have a really great system that keeps the line moving and the wait isn't long at all. The shop is simple, small, and cute. I ended up enjoying the cinnamon rolls with a cuppa tea on my friend's cabin patio.

I love supporting local biz - Cinnamon buns only (you could get a basic coffee too) I got the classic light frosting, my friend classic smothered. Already sold out of pecan buns after 30 mins of opening. The baker was super friendly.

Came here on a Tuesday morning on our way to Rocky Mountains national Park. I was a little concerned that they would run out by the time we got there because we were driving in late morning and the parking lot was looking bare . We got there at 9:30 and they only had a few options left. Not a lot of seating, but I'm assuming a lot of people just grab and go. We got the salted caramel cinnamon bun, and I think one of the workers noticed that I was a little bummed that they ran out of all the cinnamon buns with icing so she offered to put some icing on my cinnamon bun, which was really nice of her. Cinnamon bun was so good. Nice soft moist with a sweet flavor that's not overly sweet. I'm glad we were able to get a cinnamon bun because 10 minutes later one of the workers walked out to put out the sold out sign. This place is a must stop on your way to the national park. Just make sure you get here early, especially if you're coming on a weekend. Overall, 4.6/5

If you come to Estes with me, I'm dragging you here. Delicious as usual and personable service. All rolls were fresh with sweet frosting or topping. The blueberry muffins still contain large flavorful blueberries. Yum!

Cinnamon and pecan rolls as big as your head! Well maybe not that big but close enough. Delicious, warm from scratch rolls that we always have to get while we are in town. They are only open for a few hours in the morning so go early because they always sell out quick, especially in the summer.

First-time Customer Review: Food - Outstanding!!! Homemade, very large classic cinnamon roll with the most delicious icing and a must if you are visiting Estes Park! They also have coffee, so skip the drive into town. Note: Purchased baggies to take extra rolls home on our flight, so family could try. Service - Owner who takes pride in their product - welcoming, friendly, made great conversation with every customer - a true gem! Will visit every time we are in Estes Park!! Thank you.

    Only open for 2.5 hours

Drove up from Denver to try these cinnamon rolls. I couldn't decide between old fashion, sticky pecan, pumpkin, and mixed berry, so I got all 4. I only ate the sticky pecan so far. It was very good. Bathroom was clean. The humans behind the counter were nice. Overall, good time.

The best cinnamon rolls in Estes Park. Great service & cute ambiance. We visit this lovely establishment every time we're in town. They're open Thursday - Sunday: 7:30-10am or until they sell out. Highly recommended...

If I could rate this place 10/5 I would. First off. It's an adorable little shop surrounded by the mountains the it's just a beautiful spot. Inside is cozy. Only one lady working and everything was clearly baked that morning. The rolls are big and they are perfectly soft and sweet. You can never go worn with a classic cinnamon roll but the pecan was delicious and the cherry was an excellent fruit combo. In the top 2 places to get cinnamon rolls I've been to. If you are in the area you HAVE to stop and make sure you get there early!

I grew up eating Amish Cinnamon rolls so, I'm a picky cinnamon roll eater...BUT, this was legit. Hands down one of the best I've had. It was soft, fluffy, cinnamony, warm, and ooey-gooey just like a cinnamon roll should be. It's a must stop if you're in the area.

We have heard about this bakery and had to check it out! Worth the wait! Standing line and cars waiting but moves pretty fast. My favorite were the pecan rolls and original cinnamon rolls. So good!

Killer homemade cinnamon buns. The frosting is out of this world. Come early - there will be a line!

So many good things said about this place so I had to try it myself. I read that it was best to order ahead of time by calling (number on FB page) and go to pick up on ready date so I did that. Everything went smoothly. Order was ready to go. We drove by this place a few times and it doesn't take line before the sold out sign is posted, so order ahead. I chose a pecan roll and a Carmel roll. Husband had two cinnamon rolls smothered in frosting. They were sooooo good. I saved one for the next day and warmed it up in the microwave and it was as soft as the first day. Staff was great. He asked me if I wanted it warmed up there when I picked it up. You can watch the river if you want to eat in. There are a few tables to cozy up to. Great stop.

All symptoms point to food poisoning. We will not be back. This was our first visit to You Need Pie. What we liked: Our waiter was really hospitable, friendly, and did his best to provide service in a timely way despite being the only server available for all the customers. The coffee was decent, though in a small mug, and so was the hot chocolate we orders for the kids (which came with whipped cream, much to their delight!). The decor on the walls felt kind of scanty but what is there was cute. There is a pretty wide pie selection. Food serving sizes were okay. The single person bathroom was clean. What we didn't like: *The $2 veg add-ins of onion and jalapeños to the $12 omelette were raw. *The corned beef hash was extremely basic and barely seasoned, the potatoes were well cooked but bland and pale. It was edible but not worth $15. *Our party ordered a $9 bread bowl soup and waffle fries as well; it was eaten but the cheese ingredient was really overpowering in flavor - the small size was a good thing, in this case, because otherwise it couldn't have been finished. *The batter on the chicken tenders in the kid's meal were almost burnt on the edges, but still pale everywhere else. Something off with the oil temperature I guess. They didn't get eaten. *The color of everything was pretty much all beige and served on white plates, which impacted the impression of the meal - zero visual appeal. One of my favorite parts of eating at mom-and-pop diners is the way the meals feel homey, warming you from the inside out. This did not create that kind of impression. Lastly, the pie (which was the main draw for us and why we picked this dining option). We ordered one slice of rhubarb at $6.25. The pie was very disappointing - something in it was either stale or had gone bad. It tasted really unpleasant and we ended up throwing it away. Our total for everything was about $80 with tip and it was sadly not money well spent. We love stand alone dining options but probably will not be returning.

The cashier was super friendly and let us have as much candy as we wanted, helped us pick menu items, and was very honest about wait times due to their busyness but was still quick to get our orders out as soon as she could. The restaurant has few tables so its more of a grab and go spot, but it is possible to sit at a small counter or select few tables. The sandwiches were all good, some better than others. All of their meats are cured in house and served on their fresh baked bread each day. They are vegetarian friendly and offer vegan and gluten free options. They also offer breakfast items like burritos. Be aware their sandwiches are loaded with ingredients and big. I could only eat half of my sandwich. I do appreciate the size though as you never know how hungry you are going to be after a long hike especially in this altitude. We went with the turkey sandwich and added cheese, all kinds of toppings and a spread. These sandwiches were very tasty and all the veggies on the sandwich were so fresh. Their baked goods looked so inviting especially the cinnamon rolls. I will have to come back! Service was efficient and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a challenge when they are busy. It was the perfect stop before entering the park!
