This is One of the best Milkshake places I have ever been to! The Service was great and the server was really nice. It only took about 1 minute for him to whip up one Milkshake! Once he had given it to me and I tasted it it was amazing and I will definitely come back here in the future! I would definitely recommend trying this Cafe if your local or just traveling through!

Stopped here on the way to RMNP. The Turkey Gobbler was bread, turkey, mushy tomatoes and chopped iceberg drowned in godawful "Italian" dressing. The picture on the menu showed a side of black olives but we got one broken up pretzel and a mint patty which we threw in the trash. Bonus was the unfriendly server who made the sandwich with her unwashed bare hands. The smoothie was ok. Go to the Subway next door.

This might be a hole-in-the-wall sandwich spot in Estes park but it's worth a stop. I dropped in before the long ride through the Ricky Mountain National park for some elk sightings. - Try the smoothies - Sandwiches are basic but filling - Staff are friendly - Average pricing - Small indoor and outdoor seating - Did I mention the smoothies? I don't know how this place compares to other deli style sandwich shops other than the fact that I was hungry and it made my hunger Monster go away! Their sandwiches had flavor and were moaré than enough to prepare me for some hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park.

Chocolate Orange Dream--a custom order that tastes like a cross between a Tobler Chocolate Orange and a Tootsie Roll.

That being said, the elderly gentleman who took our order wasn't nearly as sweet as the product he was selling. In fact, he seemed put out to see a patron enter into his establishment at all. Regardless of the stale service received, this is a unique spot for families, with plenty of space for kids to run around, amidst a fun colorfully lit backdrop that gives off an arcade feel from an era gone by. The framed canine on the wall, much beloved by its owner, is a cute touch too. The sweet snacks once sampled back in the car weren't terribly fresh, but we plan to visit again and try more items on the expansive menu.

Unfortunately, he didn't seem very interested in helping or ensuring we received what we asked for. We purchased three pieces of chocolate for $23, which already felt expensive, and when we returned to our hotel we realized they had given us the wrong chocolates--no tiger butter at all. We tried calling the shop to address the mistake, but it went straight to voicemail. Between the lack of customer service, the error with our order, and the high price point, the experience was very disappointing. For the cost, the quality did not meet expectations. Sadly, this place feels past its prime, and I wouldn't recommend it.

All symptoms point to food poisoning. We will not be back. This was our first visit to You Need Pie. What we liked: Our waiter was really hospitable, friendly, and did his best to provide service in a timely way despite being the only server available for all the customers. The coffee was decent, though in a small mug, and so was the hot chocolate we orders for the kids (which came with whipped cream, much to their delight!). The decor on the walls felt kind of scanty but what is there was cute. There is a pretty wide pie selection. Food serving sizes were okay. The single person bathroom was clean. What we didn't like: *The $2 veg add-ins of onion and jalapeños to the $12 omelette were raw. *The corned beef hash was extremely basic and barely seasoned, the potatoes were well cooked but bland and pale. It was edible but not worth $15. *Our party ordered a $9 bread bowl soup and waffle fries as well; it was eaten but the cheese ingredient was really overpowering in flavor - the small size was a good thing, in this case, because otherwise it couldn't have been finished. *The batter on the chicken tenders in the kid's meal were almost burnt on the edges, but still pale everywhere else. Something off with the oil temperature I guess. They didn't get eaten. *The color of everything was pretty much all beige and served on white plates, which impacted the impression of the meal - zero visual appeal. One of my favorite parts of eating at mom-and-pop diners is the way the meals feel homey, warming you from the inside out. This did not create that kind of impression. Lastly, the pie (which was the main draw for us and why we picked this dining option). We ordered one slice of rhubarb at $6.25. The pie was very disappointing - something in it was either stale or had gone bad. It tasted really unpleasant and we ended up throwing it away. Our total for everything was about $80 with tip and it was sadly not money well spent. We love stand alone dining options but probably will not be returning.
