Kind coffee is my favorite coffee spot in Estes! First, the service is very great. Quick, clear and - you guessed it - kind. The shop sits on Elkhorn Ave, kind of the Main Street of Estes. It has a front and back entrance, if you'd like to walk along the river to get there. There's a large public parking lot across the street as well. The barista made the cutest latte art for us! But it wasn't just appearance. The oat milk lattes were as delicious as they were beautiful! We tried some lattes at Inkwell yesterday, and Kind today. Kind was easily better, 10/10! It's a clean and cute shop. Good selection of coffee and breakfast and light lunch options. Also a small merch section - mugs, tees, coffee cups and canisters. We tried the salmon and cream cheese bagel with capers yesterday for lunch and they were great. My husband preferred the jalapeño cheddar bagel, while I was happy with the everything bagel. But the lattes were the real standout for me. The line was longest at lunch out of our visits, but it moved very quickly! The baristas were very welcoming and nice as well! It's a really cute spot that clearly promotes kindness in Estes Park. It shares a small parking spot with a handful of stores, but there is plenty of seating available. If you have a chance to walk to the store, I'd recommend you walk. The interior is clean with some seats and merch available. It looks like some of the sales from the merch goes towards discouraging bullying which seemed like a unique concept. The employees were also very polite and kept up the theme of serving coffee with kindness. Outside, there's plenty of seating and a nice river to walk by as well. I would gladly spend some time walking around here. The coffee here was good. The only reason why I'm a little bitter with my rating is the lack of coffee that was given with my coffee. I had a hot latte and there was a lot of room towards the top. It's like someone robbed me of a quarter of my coffee. The amount of coffee provided per person seemed inconsistent in my group, so this statement seems justified. Kind coffee is an excellent spot in downtown Estes park!! I only gave 2 stars because there's another place with even more variety that I consider my favorite spot, but this place has excellent vibes and lots of windows/light and tables so it's a nice place to hang around. I had the blueberry cobbler house latte and it was smooth and sweet! The base is blueberry and brown sugar; I will say the blueberry flavor wasn't terribly strong, but blueberry usually isn't so I still enjoyed the drink. They'd recommended it iced so that's the way I got it. I would recommend it if you're in the area and want a solid, standard coffee and a nice, well lit place to sit! read more

Conveniently located in the center of town, this is a perfect spot for pre or post hike coffee and quick breakfast. The lattes have some unique flavors. I opted for the Alpine which was just enough sweetness and flavor for me. Highly recommend! I also got the diamond sandwich on a croissant. It was a lovely mash up for croissant meets bagel. Soft and chewy like a croissant, but the texture and not as buttery taste of a bagel. It can get a little busy at peak times, but food and drinks are ready relatively quickly. They also offer order ahead and pickup if you are on a time crunch. The outside area offers plenty of seating to relax and take in the sounds of nature by the water. The parking lot offers 15 minute free parking, so plenty of time to order and take it to go or pick up an online order. read more

Wow, what a location. A running river in the back and yummy drinks in the front. I loved browsing the trinkets while I waited for my order. I got an Arnold Palmer with mango flavoring, it was so refreshing on a sunny warm day. I also picked out a bag of beans as a gift, the bags aren't labeled between ground and whole, so the barista made sure to check with me which one I preferred, which was appreciated. Nice shop at the beginning of river side shopping strip mall. Very cute and have chairs and tables in side and outside. Have filter water and clean restroom for customers. You can always judge a good coffee shop by its drip coffee and it was amazing! Very delicious caramel notes. We also got the chai latte and the milk was foamed just right, the chai itself had a strongly authentic spice flavor which I loved! Service was friendly and very prompt. Such a cute coffee shop! We visited Kind Coffee on a Friday morning and found it very busy, although the line moved quickly. The space was surprisingly spacious with plenty of seating inside, in addition to the large outdoor patio. Around the corner from the entrance, there was a more quiet seating area, perfect for getting some work done in a peaceful place. The coffee shop also sold souvenirs and jewelry from local artisans, which was all very cute and tempting. My sister and I both ordered from the seasonal specials menu - I chose the Coco Cold Brew and she got the Ube Latte (I think it had a cute name too, but I can't find it now). We also got some breakfast items - an Egg, Cheese and Avocado Croissant for her and the Avocado Toast with Sun-dried Tomatoes for me. Our drinks and food were ready quickly and we brought them outside. Kind Coffee's patio is adjacent to the Riverwalk, which made for great people (and dog) watching. The vibes were excellent, with Adirondack chairs and shady trees. The Coco Cold Brew was delicious but a little too sweet/creamy for me. I ended up liking the Ube Latte way more! All the food was tasty and filling, although the tinfoil wrapping wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing. Overall though, a great spot for coffee and breakfast! read more

Looked at a coffee mug and it was $30, why??! We always come here and support this place when we are here but the people were rude and yes we did tip them even though we should not have. I ordered using the Square link because there was a line when I got there at 11am on a Thursday in early August. It was easy to order a decaf oat milk latte and I can tell you that some places make it difficult to do that! The wait for my drink wasn't long. I looked at the items in their shop -- shirts, earrings, other accessories -- while I waited. The barista was super kind when she handed my coffee to me. She also assured me that it was decaf, which I appreciated! My drink was good. I wish I had time to sit and sip it in the chairs along the river but alas it was time to head home. Located right in downtown, it's a great place to stop for coffee before or after shopping. I ordered a dirty chai with oat milk and it was amazing. Somewhere between sweet and spicy and so creamy with the oat milk. They had so many tempting goodies for sale but I stayed strong. I can tell why this spot was busy - the coffee and food is delicious! I ordered a latte with vanilla, honey, and cinnamon and it was very tasty. I got a standard bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel which was also pretty good. We did have to wait about 10-15 min for the items, but that's ok! Being busy is a sign that they're very good. They offer items for purchase like mugs, shirts, and coffee beans. The place itself is right next to a creek for a lovely sitting area outside! read more
