They have burritos, oatmeal, toasts, and bagels, or you can build your own breakfast sandwich. I ordered the Summit, a chicken, sausage, egg, and mozzarella bagel sandwich, and I chose the jalapeño cheddar bagel. The sandwich was very tasty and a good size. It filled me up without being over the top. The standout was the jalapeño cheddar bagel itself, which had a great savory flavor. I was a big fan. I also had a standard drip coffee, and the beans tasted great. I added their house-made banana syrup at half sweet, which had a good flavor and was overall very tasty. Next time I'd order it full sweet to get more of the banana flavor!!

Edith was our server and she was delightful. We ordered coffee, cappuccino, build your own omelette, and eggs benedict. The cappuccino was perfect. Edith kept the coffe cup full and served us waters. The BYO Omelette was large and served with home fried potatoes and sourdough toast. Too much to eat! The eggs benedict was wonderful and I loved the hollandaise sauce as well as the tasty ham. The trout tasted fresh, but overall I found the dish pretty bland and just kind of meh. There were also quite a few bones in the fish, which made it a little annoying to eat. I'd probably give the dish itself a generous 3/5. It was definitely filling, though. Between the whole trout, two eggs, fried potatoes, and toast, it was a lot of food after the hike. Others at the table ordered the Harvest Panini with turkey, bacon, sliced apples, honey, cheddar, sourdough, and sweet potato fries, as well as what I believe was the Castle Rock Chicken Sandwich with chicken, lettuce, tomato, pesto mayo, avocado, bacon, and provolone on a brioche bun. One person didn't eat avocado, so I was the lucky winner there. I didn't really get a chance to try the other dishes beyond a few sweet potato fries because I was busy working through my own meal. We originally sat outside on the patio, but it started raining, so we moved inside. We ordered two different kinds of sandwiches, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The flavor was completely on point, everything was so fresh, and they make it right in front of you. The deli is run by a super cute couple, and you can tell how much care they put into their business. We happened to visit during the shoulder season, so luckily the line wasn't very long. However, I've heard from others that this place is super popular, and during the peak summer season, there is usually a line waiting right out the door, and after eating here, I can totally see why! In fact, we loved it so much that we tried to go back the very next day, but unfortunately, they were closed (they are closed two days of the week, so be sure to check their hours!). I highly recommend stopping by Scratch Deli and Bakery. It is a must-visit spot, and we will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

I do appreciate the size though as you never know how hungry you are going to be after a long hike especially in this altitude. This place's smoothie's tasted eerily similar; which is an amazing thing. We didn't partake in the food because frankly, I had no idea what it all was as it is Mexican food.
