We scoped this place out the day before so I could find a decently priced caramel apple to bring home with us. This candy store is located in downtown Estes's Park. There is a wide variety of candies, fudge and Carmel apples. We got some of each and they were all delicious. The ice cream is amazing. The single scoop is huge and they will split it in half with two different flavors. The staff was very friendly, fun, efficient and helpful. This place is a tourist trap. The had a sign that the small popcorn was 8.99 but they charged 16.99 saying it was the medium. The also wanted a tip to just pay. I hit no tip 5 times and it kept going to 20%. I finally got no tip to select and it still charged me 20%. read more

Caramel popcorn is really delicious with each piece coated evenly. It is so good you feel guilty eating a handful. If you live far from Estes Park, I recommend buying the medium or the large bag. It will cost an arm and a leg but the quality is worth it. It's the best caramel popcorn I've ever tasted. The caramel apples are okay. We tried the caramel pecan coated apple. I think the caramel coating is applied too thick to the apple that instead of complimenting the fruit, it overpowers it. Service is great. They offer to cut the apple for you in the store and they place it in an open shallow plastic bowl. The place is clean and you can view some of the employees preparing the apples or the cones on the right side of the store. They also offer taffy, fudge, bars, caramels and ice cream. There is no sitting area in the store (to eat the products). They have some of the products in shelves to the left of the store, the ice cream area is at the back and the apples near the cashier on the right side. read more

Meh it's ok. It's in a tourist area and is overpriced if you ask me. The store seemed bare but I don't know if that's normal or because of covid. The ice cream was good but the cheesecake chunks were larger than I prefer in ice cream. Think tablespoon size vs 1/2 a teaspoon size so I thought it was overwhelming and I love cheesecake. This was our last stop during our outing to Estes Park for a Mothers Day outing. There are numerous taffy , ice cream and candy shops up here but this one caught my wife's eye. This particular "sweet" shop has ice cream, candied apples of different flavors, and all different varieties of candies. We did ask and all the items are made in-house. We didn't try or buy any candies this trip but we did opt for ice cream with sugar cones. And they offer several choices of cones and several flavors of ice cream. While window shopping in Estes Park we stopped in to satisfy our sweet tooth. The store itself is spacious and had plenty of items to choose from- taffy, fudge, caramel apples, popcorn, and ice cream. There are no shortages of ice cream and desserts shops in Estes Park. I guess something about hiking in Colorado makes you crave sweets. My husband and I grabbed ice cream in Laura's Fine Candies one evening after dinner. Note: the next night we learned that the ice cream is part of Haley's Homemade Ice Cream literally across the street (same owner). We felt a little bamboozled. The ice cream is A-OK as the review rating suggests. The blueberry cheesecake ice cream tasted more icey then creamy. It had tiny chunks of cheesecake bites and barely any blueberry (maybe it was supposed to be blueberry flavored cheesecake bites). My husband's peanut butter/chocolate ice cream was much better than mine and had the creamy ice cream texture I was expecting. Next time, I'll have to try the actual candies that everyone raves about on the reviews. I think we missed out. The store itself is huge, which is great for crowds wandering in hungrily. Loitering is not welcomed here due to the lack of chairs inside. Take your sweets and go! read more

This is the place to get your fudge!!! The fudge here is so addicting. Some of my favorites are raspberry, mint chocolate, and turtle. They are almost always packed. They also make some pretty good popcorn (caramel and cheese). I love their set up! Something about makes you feel like a kid in a candy shop! read more
