Donut Haus is located in Estes Park within the Sinclair gas station shop on the way to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) if you're coming from the southeast. My friend and I were a bit confused because we only saw the gas pumps when following GPS but just go to the back of the gas station pumps and enter the building. We decided to stop by to get our donut fix in prior to hiking at RMNP and we are glad we did! The donuts tasted fresh and were nice and soft without being too sweet. The guy there was personable and fun to talk to as well.

All of the reviews say these are the best donuts in Estes Park and they did not disappoint. Located in a gas station. They donuts were light and fluffy and oh so good. Definitely the best donuts in Estes Park.

Inside the Sinclair and lots to offer; cake, yeast, rolls. All our selections were great but the star was the donut holes with a cheesecake dipping. The cheesecake wasn't super sweet and complimented the donut holes really well. They also offered this as an all in one donut, pictured next to the donut hole basket in the case. Employees were super nice and helpful in selections.

    Sorry the doughnuts are gone

Doughnuts were delicious and the young man who waited on us was a pleasure. We hope to visit again someday!

Great spot for some fresh donuts! It has become our tradition to stop in and grab some treats from Donut Haus before heading into Rocky Mountain National Park. The glazed is phenomenal! I also really like the yeast donut with sugar on the outside. A few others haven't been the greatest, but still tasty donuts all around for really affordable prices. There is also a special donut each day of the week! Expect to wait in line a bit to get your treats!

The second I saw someone post a cheesecake roll from here on my Instagram feed, I knew I needed to get one when I got to Estes Park. Their hours don't work great for us because we like to hike in the morning and then come back to eat. Since they're only open from 6am-12pm, we had to stop by before we left for our hike. Covid-19: they have strict directions of where to walk and stand inside. I'm not sure how much good it really does since it's in a gas station and none of the gas station employees wear masks. We got a raspberry fritter, a cheesecake roll, and a maple frosted nut roll. All of them were delicious. My favorite was probably the cheesecake roll closely followed by the maple frosted nut roll. We're planning to get up and leave earlier for hiking the next couple of days, but if the hours work out, we might be back again. I have my eye on one of the pinecones.

Small little place tucked in back of a gas station, very good donuts. Go early for a better selection.

All symptoms point to food poisoning. We will not be back. This was our first visit to You Need Pie. What we liked: Our waiter was really hospitable, friendly, and did his best to provide service in a timely way despite being the only server available for all the customers. The coffee was decent, though in a small mug, and so was the hot chocolate we orders for the kids (which came with whipped cream, much to their delight!). The decor on the walls felt kind of scanty but what is there was cute. There is a pretty wide pie selection. Food serving sizes were okay. The single person bathroom was clean. What we didn't like: *The $2 veg add-ins of onion and jalapeños to the $12 omelette were raw. *The corned beef hash was extremely basic and barely seasoned, the potatoes were well cooked but bland and pale. It was edible but not worth $15. *Our party ordered a $9 bread bowl soup and waffle fries as well; it was eaten but the cheese ingredient was really overpowering in flavor - the small size was a good thing, in this case, because otherwise it couldn't have been finished. *The batter on the chicken tenders in the kid's meal were almost burnt on the edges, but still pale everywhere else. Something off with the oil temperature I guess. They didn't get eaten. *The color of everything was pretty much all beige and served on white plates, which impacted the impression of the meal - zero visual appeal. One of my favorite parts of eating at mom-and-pop diners is the way the meals feel homey, warming you from the inside out. This did not create that kind of impression. Lastly, the pie (which was the main draw for us and why we picked this dining option). We ordered one slice of rhubarb at $6.25. The pie was very disappointing - something in it was either stale or had gone bad. It tasted really unpleasant and we ended up throwing it away. Our total for everything was about $80 with tip and it was sadly not money well spent. We love stand alone dining options but probably will not be returning.

Right outside Rocky Mountain National Park, and directly across from their main outpost, Bird & Jim. This place serves it all: coffee, smoothies, breakfast, baked goods, pizza, salads, soups, wraps, etc. Each menu varies depending on the time of day obviously. The space itself is gorgeous, and not something you'd expect in a mountain town. The high ceilings and massive windows allow you to soak up any mountain and sunset views. They have a nice little patio outside and yes, you'll probably see elk grazing across the street! The pizza left more to be desired. I ordered a simple margherita ($18) and an Odell beer. I would've prefered the pizza to be cooked for another minute in the oven personally, but that's not a knock on them. It desperately needed salt. In the dough and on the tomatoes. The tomatoes slid right off every time I tried to take a bite. It was just severely under-seasoned and really didn't have any flavor at all. I would actually come back here because I do like restaurant concepts like these that offer different experiences throughout the day. A great place to hang out and recharge. I will stick with breakfast and coffee next time!

We ordered two different kinds of sandwiches, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The flavor was completely on point, everything was so fresh, and they make it right in front of you. I do appreciate the size though as you never know how hungry you are going to be after a long hike especially in this altitude. We went with the turkey sandwich and added cheese, all kinds of toppings and a spread. These sandwiches were very tasty and all the veggies on the sandwich were so fresh. Their baked goods looked so inviting especially the cinnamon rolls. I will have to come back! Service was efficient and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a challenge when they are busy. They weren't particularly busy (lots of open tables) and there were a lot of servers. Maybe short staffed in the kitchen? Probably more disappointing than waiting so long was the food itself. Potato soup was "fine" but nothing special and way too much bacon. Three of us got side salads and every single one of us had warm lettuce. Not even room temperature - warm, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The turkey panini had way more mayo that should be allowed on a sandwich and the bread was barely toasted. We waited so long for our food we couldn't risk sending it back. As it was, we were there for so long we had to change our afternoon plans to go to RMNP because we rain out of time.
