A new location for breakfast and lunch, we decided to give it a try. Wow, once we entered, we were amazed by its clean, bright and neat interior. Everything is well organized from ordering to getting the food. The service is to the point. The food choices are huge, we ordered some crepes, porridge and dumpling. They all tasted fresh. It has become our favorite spot for breakfast.

Went here for a weekday dinner and sadly this place left a lot to be desired. We ordered the BBQ sliced meat, the wonton, and the chinese bian bing. The rice bowel was simply frozen veggies with cumin and salt, the wonton had thick wrapper and little filling. The jian bing was the hugest letdown as it seems the skin was just corn flour and regular flour.....very thick....should have a mixture of mung bean flour amongst others.

Northern Chinese style food that is hot, fresh and of good value. The crepe was surprisingly large. Service was good, there was only 1 server when we went at 8am but since not many tables of patrons, so it was ok. Ambiance is nice and quiet. It was good, and spicy tofu fa is a new try for us. I'd say I like it, just not my usual go to foods.

Stumbled upon this Chinese café while doing errands in the area with family. What a gem of a find!! Loved the variety of dishes. Definitely will return for Chinese-style brunch!! Service was a bit slow (reasonable given that the place opened just two weeks ago). Nice atmosphere with comfortable seating and love the space saving idea of having the utensils/napkins/tooth pick available underneath the table!

We had the soy sauce wok fried chicken rice noodle, which is what I usually love. They had just barely enough wok hay. They use chicken leg meat and not chicken breast slices, so there isn't a lot of meat but the taste was decent. The duck tasted ok, but the flavour was a little mild (and I have a very simple palate). It was ok. The skin was excellent though! The YC fried was huge. Overall good taste, but the BBQ pork was a tad too sweet for me. I prefer Auric King's BBQ pork instead. The guy server was super nice and attentive. He asked for feedback and suggestions. We suggested an "all day meal" menu like the traditional hk cafe. The vibe is very 80s Hong Kong style. Very aesthetic, like Garden Cafe, who also does the same style. Check out my interior pics to see! Tables and bowls are a little sticky though lol. Overall, I might come back when they have an all day menu. I see most people ordering noodles, probably because the portions aren't as massive. As of right now, they have the white menu for non members, which is BOGO half off. Also, $30 for lifetime VIP.

One of the most popular dishes here is their popcorn chicken 盐酥鸡 because it's crunchy, lightly battered and juicy. It's a must try, along with the braised pork rice 卤肉饭 or the soup filled dumplings 小笼包 which are always on point. Well known for their beef noodle soup which is tasty. The beef was very tender, the broth had a nice flavour and the noodles had good texture. Their oyster pancake was not as flavourful as the ones I've had at the night markets in Taiwan but it's nice to have this on the menu since not all Taiwanese restaurants in Toronto offer it. Located on Yonge Street, north of Elgin Mills Road in Richmond Hill, it is a great place for takeout, dine in or delivery.

This place was almost full. Couples, large family with children in high chair, solo, pick-up customers. A good number of staff members are on the floor serving customers with smiles. One step in, I was impressed by the warm atmosphere. I was here for pick up # XLB # Pan fried dumpling While I was waiting, staff offered me a seat, asking if I would like some tea - again, this place was very busy when I came here, but they treated me with such a sweet/kind manner. XLBs were very good!!!!!!!! Though the seasoning was very moderate, each piece was beautifully hand pleated. The wrapper was very similar to that of the famous chain (DTF), thin and strong. I can feel a pleasant "bite" in the soft, thin layer. Delicate. The meat filling was tender, melt in the mouse with soup - whole integration was excellent. Satisfied! Pan fried dumpling had a thin wrapper. Because my preference for Pan fried dumpling is thick and chewy (like Northern style) and meaty one, I was not as impressed. But it is good for those who like thinner wrapper and healthier option as it had a lot of cabbage inside. This was also moderate seasoned but came with dipping sauce (vinegar & soy & chili). This place made me want to come back - next time for eat in, and love to try a popular noodle item (Beef noodle)!

Bomb noodles. We will be back…read more My fiancée and I love spicy food. We also love noodles. So guess what we got at Noodle Legend - the Feast Seafood Noodles Topped with Spicy Oil! The dish comes with a thick flat super chewy ribbon noodle. It doesn't look like a big portion, but the noodles never seem to end! We particularly loved the aromatic garlicy spicy oil, which was full of umami and slightly sweet. It coated the noodles perfectly without making it seem like a noodle soup. The spice doesn't hit you at first, but sure enough it comes back with a vengeance. Be cautious if you decide to up the spice levels! It comes with quite a bit of seafood - scallops, baby abalone and crawfish tails. We've never really had crawfish tails in Chinese cuisine, so this was quite interesting. Make sure to suck on the tail before you de-shell to really get all the umami, and then dip the tail back into the spicy oil for a burst of flavour. Surprisingly, the chewy texture of the seafood complemented the noodles really well. Customer service here is impeccable. We saw nearby tables with phone holders, which we suspect you can request if you want to eat and watch your videos in peace. The staff also hand out individually packaged plastic bibs and gloves to avoid the oil from slashing onto your clothes and will top up your napkin supply without asking. The restaurant has a couple of tables but noticeably, some long benches that run throughout. We were sat in the middle, and were asked kindly by the Owner to move to the end of the table once a bigger party arrived. We had no issues with this, but the Owner decided to give us free pop and apologized for the inconvenience. So nice! Little surprise - there's a Beef Noodle Special after 8:30pm on Monday-Thursday. "Authentic hand pulled noodles in slow-simmered beef bone broth". Sounds like music to my ears - can't wait to come back and try this one out.

She noticed it was my first time and pointed out the menu on the table and online ordering option. And she noticed I was an English speaking dude and promptly changed her language. That was nice. And the food was awesome as well I ordered their braised beef noodles with the choice of normal spices and thick noodles. The noodles had a nice bounce to them and you could tell they were hand made. The broth was fragrant though not as spicy as I would have preferred. And The vegetables that came with the soup were crispy and fresh. Overall, I enjoyed my visit I will be back to try some of their dumplings and other soup options. Of course with the thick noodles:) I definitely recommend coming here as the service and the food was exceptional.

We ended up getting the ham macaroni soup with a cheese ham sandwich combo, along with the O Street signature beef sandwich and fries from their new menu. Despite how busy it was on a Saturday, the food came out at a pretty reasonable speed, which I appreciated. The macaroni soup was just okay, very much the kind of simple comfort food that fills you up, but nothing especially memorable. I was most excited for the signature beef sandwich, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The burger/sandwich itself was smaller than I imagined, and it only had about 2-3 pieces of beef brisket inside with marinated bell peppers and their homemade sauce. The sauce leaned sweeter than expected, which might work for some people, but personally I was hoping for something more savoury and more generous with the beef. However, the brisket was tender, which was a win... ish. Overall, still a decent spot if you're craving classic HK cafe vibes and variety, especially for a casual meal with family.

Recently came back w/ my parents as this has now become one of their de facto go-to's for viet food in Richmond Hill along w/ Ngon Corner (replacing Green Lemongrass). They are SOOO busy now as they have a loyal student customer base during the school months (conveniently being right next to Bayview Secondary). They run student deals as well as lunch specials. On this visit, I opted for curry beef brisket rice as my mom told me that she tried it w/ my dad and they vouched for it. The curry was quite flavourful and there were a LOT of big brisket chunks running through the curry so I was pleasantly surprised. Got an additional iced lemon tea for no extra charge which was so awesome! The staff recognize my parents now because they've been going quite regularly lately lol. It's flavourful, both fatty and lean, tender, juicy... basically perfect for the grill. There's an option to add an egg, which I skipped. The dish comes with a small salad drizzled in balsamic vinegar, plus some pickled daikon radish and carrots. A small dish of sweet and tangy fish sauce is included too, perfect for pouring over the rice. Fantastic flavors all around. I cleared the plate and would definitely order it again, though they have a lot of other dishes I want to try too. They're currently running a promo where you get a free drink with any order! Not advertised anywhere (from what I saw), they just casually mentioned it after we ordered. The iced lemon tea was refreshing, with sliced lemons on top, and served in a large cup, which I highly appreciate. Not one of those tiny takeout ones that's gone in a few sips. Service is very friendly. Lots of free parking. Just a heads up, they only accept debit or cash.
