Seemed a little busy here on a Saturday night. It looked as if they were having some kind of private event in their back area. Service was aight. I was told that there was table service but had to order at the bar. Guys looked overwhelming busy. Couple of TV's around the bar with college football on the screenTook a minute to get my beer. They have a large variety of draft beers. I opted for the Fiddlehead IPA. Not too bad. Had the chicken sandwich that was unadorned and naked. Not lacking in flavor just a bit on the boring side. Fries just fries. Regular smegular. Not sure that I would return due to the lack of service. But maybe it was just a bad day.

De Deep-Fried Deviled Eggs

Great smoked wings, incredible deviled eggs and space for all six of us to sit on a Friday evening? I'm so glad we were just down the street and made it here. Service was wonderful and the ambiance is exactly what you'd expect. If you're in the mood for light bites and a drink, pop on by. You won't regret it.

Brisket Burnt End Sammy

The pro was that everything came out very fresh! The Mac and cheese was pretty solid, it's creamy and cheesy and has a great crusted top, no complaints there. The brisket burnt end sandwich has much to be desired. The meat was pretty tasty on its own, but the Texas toast was sadly very burnt tasting which transferred over to the meat itself. The French fries were super fresh, thick and crunchy which was nice. A regular coke is pretty flat and comes out of a 2L bottle. Overall, mediocre experience at best.

Smoked Chicken wings (a dozen )

Was here for my birthday on Sunday last. My friend and I got the county style mustard horseradish aioli wings . We heard they were extremely good .there a secret admire . We got a dozen .they are smoked .so you can tell by the rub that' they are! They have local beers here on tap and in cans too. I ordered the PASSWORD, for myself. They bartenders here are great. They took care of and my friend as well .. I got birthday shots there another regular here . Ohh it's so nice . We ate here went to dinner and then came back again. And I was treated w/ a tremendous hello through the door .the have TVs a dart board in the back and a backyard. It's located on the strip of others places to go . But the one was definitely a favorite. I will be back here again .

Smoked Drums and Flats with Buffalo sauce & blue cheese

I was craving wings and where else would I look to find them other than yelp ! This was one of the top rated places in the area so we came here. The hostess was super nice and seated us right away, we had the option of inside or outside and we decided to sit outside in their cute and covid friendly backyard patio area. We ordered the table share Mac & cheese as well as their smoked wings with the blue cheese and Buffalo sauce on the side. I really enjoyed the flavor of the wings and the Buffalo sauce wasn't too hot and it was a nice touch. The Mac and cheese was good I did think it needed a little bit of salt but my boyfriend said it was fine so maybe it was me. We also tried the Mexican Moscow drink or something like that. It had tequila, ginger beer and something else. I really enjoyed it and would definitely have it again. Overall if your in the area definitely stop in here !

Smoked wings with garlic aioli sauce

Place is great. I sidled in on a Tuesday afternoon as the only person there. Their back eating area is well shaded and has a nice, steady breeze. The wings are dangerous with a crispy, smokey flavor. I suggest you eat them as recommended: dry with a sauce on the side. The garlic aioli dipping sauce was so good I dipped my fries in them instead of ketchup. The bison burger is likewise delicious. Bison is notoriously dry and tough to cook but they nailed it. The burger was juicy and the sauce brought it all together nicely. They also have a great draft beer selection and the bartender was incredibly attentive. Highly recommend this hole in the wall.

The Wedge Salad

This place was absolutely delicious and a must-try if you're in Williamsburg. Get: - the burger (cooked perfectly, huge portion, bacon, onion strings) - The Mac and cheese - they must do an upside down cast iron style cause there is amazing crisp on one side of it. So flavorful and the portion can feed a village. - The wedge salad- great dressing, blue cheese, bacon, corn. If you're craving a burger or American food in general go here and thank me later.

Poor service. Most of the food is pretty average. You're in NYC, a million other fantastic places to go to.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 7 Overall: 7 This bar has been around for a while now and I can see why. Over 20 beers on tap and a good selection of other alcoholic beverages too. However, my friends and I were here for the food, so that's what this review is based on. She-wolf Sourdough (7/10) - It was good bread, but nothing really special. Hot Crab Dip (7/10) - Very veggie forward flavors, but you do taste crab. Not bad. Btw, this dish comes with a few pieces of the She-Wolf Sourdough. Danish Dog (7.5/10) - Great snap to the bite of the dog itself. Bread was great. Pickles are interesting, but the curry mayo should be stronger and more bold. Simple mustard would have been better. Old Bay Chicken Wings (8/10) - Nice plump and juicy wings with that dusting of Old Bay seasoning. Yum! Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/10) - Chicken was fried well and bread was fine. However, the chili miso honey was way too much for me. Too sweet, not spicy at all, and just didn't work well. Dry Aged Burger (7/10) - Beef patty needs more seasoning and a better crust. No real char at all, though a decent beef flavor was present. Not into the sprouts, but the tomato jam was good. From what I heard, I had high hopes for the food here. In the end, it was a satisfying meal, but nothing special something I travel so far for again.

I was not disappointed AT ALL!! First impressions: it's a bit of a compact space, but there's also plenty of tables/seating to choose from....although it does fill in fast!! We came relatively early around 4pm, so we were able to take advantage of some of their Happy Hour prices, including: $14 Fried Chicken Sandwich $10 Cocktails, including the Frozen Espresso Martini I also got the Smash Burger and the Yuzu Sake, which weren't included in the Happy Hour. You order your food & drinks at the bar, but they bring the food out to wherever you're sitting once it's ready. As for the cocktails, they were both great!! The Frozen Espresso Martini was very creatively presented and I enjoyed the look and taste of it. The Yuzu Sake was strong and great quality! For the food, both the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Smash Burger were delicious!! The Fried Chicken Sandwich especially tasted so unique and creative with the sauce on it, but I also just really loved the solid burger and could tell it had excellent quality. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Torst, and I highly recommend stopping by to grab some of their food and drinks!

He started out as a salesman for Brooklyn Brewery during the 1980s. Eventually he founded his own beer imports company called Raven Importing Company. Raven ultimately wanted to open his own craft beer bar and bottle shop where he could offer consumers microbrews and high quality European brews. The new business, dubbed Brouwerij Lane, was the first of its kind in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood. Brouwerij Lane has 19 rotating draught lines as well as 150+ cans and bottles of local, imported, rare and unique craft brews. Raven also teamed up with brewmaster Chris Prout to open the Dirck the Norseman restaurant and brewpub in 2014. It later evolved into Greenpoint Beer & Ale Company, but it sadly closed its doors in 2024. I recently visited Brouwerij Lane while I was in Brooklyn to see a concert. I arrived early in the day so I could explore some beer bars and shops throughout Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Both neighborhoods have bustling craft beer scenes. Brouwerij Lane has been on my list of places to explore for a while. The interior is small but cozy. There were maybe six other customers enjoying beers when I arrived. I grabbed a table and then looked over the impressive draught menu. I decided to start off with a pour of Mighty Squirrel Brewing's "Volare" (Italian Pilsner). Italian Pilsners are my favorite variety of pilsners, and this one was excellent. Dry-hopped with noble hops, "Volare" (Italian for 'to fly') was crisp and delicious with a nice blend of citrusy notes and hints of freshly baked bread. I also had a look at the shop's impressive can/bottle selection and purchased a can of Brown Girl's Brew's "Lemon Pound Cake" (Lager) to take home. Before leaving, I enjoyed a pour of Brouwerij Van Steenberge's "Tripel De Garre" (Belgian Tripel). This was an AMAZING Belgian beer that had some excellent spice notes. I had an excellent experience at Brouwerij Lane and I highly recommend them to craft beer aficionados or those who want to learn about craft beer!

This place has everything, attentive service, great beer, and great food. I find that sometimes the beer offerings at various breweries get a bit stale --- it's almost always the same stuff. Keg & Lantern is going to have all your favorite, but they just seem better executed. My go-to first beer is the Soprano. A great crisp Italian pilsner After that, it's off to the races with a high abv hazy ipa. The food here is also great. In particular, I love their fish and chips. After having it multiple times, it seems unbelievably consistent. It's always delicious. My wife loves the blackened fish. Finally, the service is great. They're attentive, always seem to swing by at the right time, and are super friendly. K&L seems to do everything all the other breweries do, but just a little bit better. For sure stop in here. Oh, also they've got some great happy hour specials!

The bar is located on the ground floor of a building at the corner of Union Avenue and Conselyea Street in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood. The building has been owned by the Lamonaca family for multiple generations. Beginning in the 1950s, the storefront served as a pharmacy that was run by Lamonaca's great-grandfather. In the 1970s and '80s, it was a gift shop run by his grandfather. Most recently it was an architecture firm. Lamonaca's grandmother still owns the building and even lives in the upstairs apartment. After spending six years at JP Morgan, Lamonca decided to leave the finance world. Although he was interested in finance, it was never his passion. He really loved craft beer though and wanted to open his own place where he could teach people about it. At Beer Karma, Lamonaca has curated a fine selection of beer from local NYC breweries as well as other breweries around the world. I recently visited Beer Karma while I was in Williamsburg to see a concert. Williamsburg is one of my favorite Brooklyn neighborhoods because in addition to the locals being very friendly, there is also a bustling craft beer scene. They had an excellent selection of cans and bottles. I was happy to see that they indeed had cans of Back Home Beer (which I purchased to go). Since I was there, I decided to pull up a seat by the bar and order a draught beer. After looking over the chalkboard menu, I decided to go with Threes Brewing's "Endless Plane" (Wine Barrel-Aged Saison).
