Our assigned carrier, Evergreen Transfer and Storage, came for the pickup and our washer and dryer were not disconnected. I accept that part was on us and that they were not authorized to disconnect plumbing. Rescheduling would have been completely fair. Instead, my wife asked the crew to wear shoe covers in our home and they refused. When my daughter tried to hand them the phone so I could speak with them from overseas, they left. I called the office to raise a concern about how my family had been treated, calmly, and shortly after we were told Evergreen no longer wanted to provide the service. We were dropped days before our family's flight with no provider and almost no time. Hill Moving Services stepped in on short notice and handled it beautifully. I watched the entire pickup over FaceTime from the ship. They were respectful to my wife, careful with our home and our belongings, and finished in under an hour. No attitude, no friction, no drama. Just professionals doing their job well. I cannot tell you what it means to sit ten thousand miles away, unable to do anything, and watch strangers treat your family with that kind of decency. Military families, if Hill shows up at your door, you are in good hands. And if a company treats your spouse poorly and then drops you for speaking up, the way Evergreen did to us, do not accept that as normal. Hill is proof it does not have to be that way. We contacted Olympic Movers to help us do a local move in under a week. They came out and gave an…read moreestimate based on the amount of men, time and equipment that would be needed to complete the move and we agreed. The day of they showed up on time, worked courteously and diligently. Overall we were impressed with the work the movers performed. For the inital estimate they company insisted that a veteran member of the stuff visit the apartment to assess the job. The proposal offered by management was 4 men for 4 hours at the first location and 3 men for 3 hours at the second. On the day we only had 4 men for 1.25 hours and then 3 men for 11 hours. Our final bill was 26% higher than the estimate. I understand that an estimate is just that, and that it may take longer than you originally thought. However, if there is a drastic difference in what was planned and what was delivered in terms of man hours I think it's fair to ask for some consideration. When I asked management to decrease the bill to something more reasonable (which would still be 16% over the estimate; they refused). In addition they started applying pressure to me and my wife to pay immediately. They called my wife the day they emailed us their bill of loading asking for payment. They then called repeatedly the next day demanding payment, threatening enforcement of their contract and trying to drive up the pressure to get paid as soon as possible. The man had the gall to say that we should give them a good review since they showed up and worked so hard (this was the manager/assessor, he was not working as a mover that day). Again, I understand in this industry it can be difficult to collect on a service that was already delivered, but that was really not necessary here and using these tactics within one business day (we moved Friday, they emailed us the receipt Monday and started the pressure on Tuesday) of a major event seemed unwarranted. Overall would I recommend Olympic Movers? I guess I might with some caveats. Their movers did a fantastic job. However, their billing and sales leave a lot to be desired. If money is not a concern I would recommend them; if it is I'd recommend a larger or more reputable company that will deal with you more fairly. I say this because: - They made an estimate based on their own assessment of the job, changed the agreed upon allocation of men and failed to deliver within their timeframe which ended up costing us more. - They refused to accept responsibility on their end for the higher cost and refused to accept a fair comprimise for failing to meet their estimate. - They employed high pressure tactics to collect their money and solicit a positive review.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. An update: September 2026…read more It has now been over two months since my move in early July, and I am once again having issues with All Service Moving. This morning I received three back-to-back calls (9:16, 9:17, 9:19) from the company while I was in a meeting. The first call went to voicemail, but they continued calling. I have not been given any explanation for why they are suddenly contacting me months later. This is especially frustrating because after my move, the movers repeatedly contacted my personal phone pressuring me for a tip and a five-star review. I eventually had to block the number. The move itself also went poorly. The truck they brought could not access my loading area despite the information and photos I provided beforehand, resulting in additional trips and delays. A move estimated at 3-4.5 hours took around 6.5 hours and cost over $1,000. When I submitted a claim, Operations Manager Donald Stansbury essentially dismissed it with a very short, poorly written email stating they could not provide any reimbursement or refund. I had hoped the matter was over. Now, two months later, I am receiving repeated calls about the claim with no clear explanation. I would recommend keeping all communication with this company documented and in writing.
