I called Eric about my move and he came over and looked at my place. He gave me an estimate. After reviewing it I had some questions and called and texted him 3 times and he never returned a call or answered a text. No response at all. I got estimates from two other companies which did answer my questions and they were about 30% less than Eric's estimate. My guess is that Eric is busy and doesn't need the work so he gave me a big number just to see if it would stick. read more

These guys worked for 7 hours with no break, even though I asked if they needed lunch, etc. They just powered through the job. Took 3 truck loads to move my stuff and I've yet to find a broken item. Had them back to move some heavy items to my attic and were done in less than 15 minutes. They work HARD. No hidden fees, just pay for labor and flat fee for the truck. Nothing extra for mileage, etc and no trying to sell you overpriced insurance. Saved about $1,000 going with them. Eric and Jesse and their crews are honest, good people. Highly recommend. read more

I contacted Eric's Small Moves 2 days in advance, for loading furniture out of an apartment into a 26' U-Haul truck for a cross country move. They had an available time slot mid-day, on a Friday. I expected a two man crew. Their team showed up IN FORCE! They had 5 to 8 crew members available for a short time slot and loaded my truck in 1 ¼ hours. The truck was professionally loaded, furniture protected with moving blankets I supplied, and everything fit. Their fee was very reasonable. I was closing out my office of 20+ years and needed furnishings and files delivered to various locations on Bainbridge. Eric was there with his crew when he said he would be. The group was polite, careful with the various objects, and speedy. They made stops at two different donation locations and then at our house. They could not have made my situation worse. To move and store my things, I had categorized my possessions into about six different types of containers, all stacked when Small Moves arrived. They then took all the containers out of the room individually and stacked them in the truck, then all the containers came out individually and took up three times the square footage they took up in my apartment because cardboard boxes were mixed with plastic crates were mixed with apple boxes. The cardboard boxes with plastic crates on top collapsed, so many things broken - and then he charged me $900 for a move less than 20 miles. I asked for him to communicate my plan to all his workers - four - and all four just set out on their own, each asking me individually what they should do next. The opposite of efficiency, the opposite of intuitively knowing that you stack boxes of a certain dimension on the boxes of the same dimension. And rude, because I didn't like how he wanted to stack my possessions! I had to rent two more storage units to undo the mess - it all went back into one unit, stacked in a modular fashion. read more

I only had them move a few appliances from one house to another, but they moved the furniture with more care than another "big" moving company I used for an actually (house) move. What an amazing group of movers. Clean cut, professional, did everything I asked in a very timely manner, and spent absolutely no time dilly dallying around or doing anything they weren't required to! Couldn't be more happy with a group of movers, especially the affordability! These guys wiped everyone's prices out of the water by about half the cost! This up and coming company will be utterly successful in the near future. If your looking to move for a fair price, quickly and efficiently, and have no worries or trust issues at all with movers handling your things, these are the guys to call.
