It's a 2014 Itasca Navion RV that I had scheduled to rent out that Monday. Their guys diagnosed the problem and were able to find a part and get it delivered Monday morning. They replaced the whole rack and pinion steering system and aligned the tires that Monday and my renters were on the road Monday evening. What a relief to be reunited with our mail. She has top-notch communication and a consistent can-do attitude. We see her always welcoming residents new and old, total ray of sunshine -- she means it! Alyx M. is newer to this property as Assistant Manager, but advocated for us as long-time residents to upper management, and showed us she cares about keeping this place vital and thriving. She's also helped us stay updated on improvements like the aforementioned package room, elevator maintenance, and more. We really appreciate her attention to detail and responsibility, making moves early on. Lastly (for now), Jose C. from maintenance is not new here, he's been at M Street longer than we've been residents. But he established an excellence with home repair and has been an absolute stalwart of keeping M Street's "bones of the building" running. Do NOT move here…read more They charge "luxury" prices (base rent easily balloons past $2,250/month with parking and fees) for a building that is dangerous and deteriorating. My studio was part of a building-wide burst pipe crisis that flooded 20+ units. My home is now an unlivable mess with 5 deafening industrial fans running 24/7. Management initially agreed to transfer me to a vacant, clean unit to get me out of the noise, but then completely went back on their word, denied the transfer, and stopped responding to my emails right before the weekend. To make matters worse, their maintenance crew let themselves into my apartment without my required consent--posing a massive safety liability with my protective dog. While inside, used my private restroom, the crew broke my lamp and UNPLUGGED MY FRIDGE, leaving it off for two days and destroying all my groceries. Now they are dodging financial responsibility and telling me to "call my insurance." This flood is just the final straw. In the last few months alone, we've had: A murder on the floor directly above mine, which I learned about days later on TikTok... Constant mailroom/building break-ins and daily stolen packages, and management claiming they aren't allowed to access the security camera in the mail room to investigate these thefts. Elevators constantly breaking down, sometimes trapping people on high floors and causing significant delays when coming and going. And many smaller issues that independently wouldn't matter much, but compiled together make for a very crappy place to live. M Street/Avenue5 Residential does not care about tenant safety, housing laws, or basic decency. I am officially filing a code enforcement complaint with the Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections (SDCI). Avoid this place like the plague.

They brought my desk in and didnt put it together until i reminded them, and THEY LOST THE SCREWS to it, so they used small screws to make it look together but the moment i went to move it, it fell apart because they used the wrong ones, wow really guys? So we spent the next entire day going back and forth from Lowes, getting different screws to fix my desk since they lost the original ones 3. THEY USE HORRIBLE TAPE!!!! They taped the keyboard slider on my desk with clear packing tape or something stronger, because when i took it off, it peeled entire chunks of my desk's flush off. As well as our TV stand, good bye nice looking furniture, its not got tape flesh peeled parts all over it. 4. This one is probably my fault for TRUSTING THEM - they packed up my computer and my monitors, and they just CARELESSLY put my monitors in a box, with not NEARLY enough bubble wrap, and when i opened th ebox, i found they even positioned the screens so one corner was PRESSED AGAINST the other monitor!? CM Heating Review…read more We decided to go with CM Heating for several reasons. Their reviews online were very good. I talked to my neighbors to hear what their experience was and CM Heating name was brought up a couple times as a stand out company. The sales person Amber was very professional and gave us a ton of information. She was instantly responsive when I had questions. We got 3 bids for this job. I took all the information and used AI to compare the mountain of info to get its take in the bids. Cm Heating consistently had the edge over the others. The main reason was the warranty. If you are spending a fair amount of money, you need a good warranty. All said and done CM Heating was the winner Getting an install date was a breeze. All the detail work was handled by them. The office sent me the permits to print and post. Install Day I was notified of the time they would arrive and the guys were right on time Tim and Melvin sized up the job and jumped in at full speed. Melvin worked on the furnace Tim on the Heat Pump. These guys never stopped the entire time except when my wife brought them some home made chocolate chip cookies. I was very impressed with their performance. We had questions along the way and they provided answers immediately. Great trustworthy people. By the time they were done all the areas were spotless. We've used CM for heat pump installations in two houses. Most recently, we purchased a heat pump in…read more2019. When it stopped heating in Winter (thankfully, we have back-up propane), CM quoted us $3,200 for a thermal expansion valve (TXV) replacement. They explicitly said that while the parts were covered under warranty, the labor was not. We got a second opinion -- and while the part failed, the second company pointed out that we had a 10 year parts and labor warranty (he was easily able to get to this info, which means CM should have, too -- especially since they sold it to me). I've now called CM several times to inform them that they need to cover the repair, but I've been ghosted. I assume this is likely because they can charge a higher rate for labor on a customer-pay job than they can be paid by the warranty company and are hoping I'll go to another company, but I have no proof of that. As far as I'm concerned, they sold me the unit and the warranty -- and they can do the repair. Once the warranty is over? I'll never deal with CM again.
