After four years it was time to call Randy and his team to clear up all the mucky junk we dumped into the sparkling clean space they left for us last time. His two trucks (we had that much junk piled up again--REALLY???) arrived in the morning when promised and the team quickly set to work. What we greatly appreciated was Randy confirming exactly what we wanted them to take and what was staying. I think the most impressive thing I saw and heard was one of his guys using a metal-cutting chainsaw to dismantle an old soccer backstop--which we're now well rid off. I originally booked a household goods removal with a different company, College Hunks. The booking specialist on the phone was warm and efficient, however when the junk haulers showed up for my free estimate, red flags started to appear. 1. They were an hour late for the appointment, with no apology or explanation. 2. Somehow they were under the impression that they were only hauling away one closet full of goods, rather than a whole house full. 3. The estimate they gave me was double what their website guidelines led me to believe it would be. 4. Not only was the estimate double what I anticipated, it only accounted for 1 hour of labor. They were going to charge $90 every 15 minutes thereafter. 5. Their truck was only 11ft. long. I wasn't confident everything was going to fit. 6. Lastly, while I concede that physical attraction can be somewhat subjective.. Regrettably, I must say that I was sent 2 non-hunks. So even though I was operating on limited bandwidth, trying to prepare for a move. I decided to get another on-site estimate from Got Clutter. ...Enter Got Clutter's owner/operator Randy. A 6'2 slab o' man with a cleft chin like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. This was no imposter hunk, this was the real thing. Imagine my further delight when he was on time, driving a 16ft. truck, and understood the job he was estimating. I cancelled with College Hunks and booked with Got Clutter. I'm glad I switched gears at the last minute, because today was the haul away and it went very smoothly. Randy brought a team of 4 quick and conscientious helpers and they actually did get everything out in an hour. And my out the door price was about 30% less than I would have paid the aforementioned franchise company. read more

I have to say that this is a seriously incredible business, and how lucky we are to have Randy in our area! I had Got Clutter clear out my mom's small apartment two years ago and called them again last month to clear out her storage unit. What a team, Randy and his helper! This is literally the best removal company that I have dealt with. I called Randy on Monday morning and he told me the rates. I wasn't sure exactly how much stuff I had to get rid of so he gave me a range of prices. He and his employee showed up at my house about three hours later (they would have been there sooner, but I had to work and couldn't get home soon enough) and it took them about two hours to completely clean my back yard. It looks brand new! They literally took everything. I could tell that they take great pride in their work. When it was time to pay, it cost me half as much as I thought it would and he even took my debit card. He was super friendly and professional throughout the whole process. I don't want to go through the ordeal of having to have a bunch of junk removed again, but if I do or know anyone who does, I will certainly be calling Randy at Got Clutter.
