Today was the second time we've used Kitsap Junk Removal and it won't be the last!! Both times the team was right on schedule, polite, very organized and quick. Both times I scheduled with Liz who got us in within one week of my calls and she is an absolute delight to chat with. I hired this crew to remove about 150 fence boards. Initially, I was quoted $165, which seemed low to me, so I expected the total to be around $300. In the end, I paid $500, and not all the wood was removed. That said, the crew was very kind and worked within my budget as best they could. this is just my experience, they seemed really nice on the phone, there before they got to my residence to do a quote, upon arrival they saw what I was trying to get rid of and quoted me $887 or $885 to remove what I had, told them that I would get back to him because I want to do some comparison shopping. The people I went with ended up doing it just barely over what it would've actually cost me to do my own. And saved me over $600. I'm a firm believer that people need to make a living and I'm not mad about that but at the same point in time don't boast about giving honest quotes and then overcharge people that is just profoundly uncalled for especially in this day and time when things are so freaking expensive already.. Everything that was being dumped was not electronic refrigerator washer dryer anything like that some couches a bedframe, some dressers that was generally it, I don't mind people making a living, but it's not cool to price gouge people. It took two guys 40 minutes to load up their truck and take it all at once, and I just found out that the dump fee was $87. All I'm gonna say is make sure you shop around before you go quote from anybody who does junk because you never know when they're looking to get over on you. Stop looking around and use this company. Seriously! this company was amazing! We had such a huge project of cleaning out a house and I was in tears at the volume of what needed to be gone. After talking with the very nice Jamie at the office over the phone, we had Joel, Alex, and Rob come out promptly and start. They were so efficient, it almost made my head swim, and they did it with humor and levity. Rob's jokes were great dad-jokes.
