I LOVE North Fork Roasting company. I go there year round every time I am out in Greenport. The iced coffee is delish!

By far the best coffee on the east end. The employees are extremely nice and the place has a cool homey vibe. My only complaint is that they don't open until 7am. I'm already into my morning commute so it's Starbucks with their disaffected baristas. read more

The space is comfortable, welcoming and social - it is what you would envision a coffee house to be except with a better array of free-trade options. As a tea drinker, the matcha is amazing but anything you order will be made with love. The best thing about it is their head barista (or dog), Sinatra, is always inviting you to come pet him on one of their comfy pieces of furniture. read more

Was a huge fan when they first opened -- robust coffee that highlighted the best features of the beans. They definitely bucked the whole passé over-roasted trend. But then the coffee started to get weaker. The latte started to taste more like a hot Rhode Island coffee milk. I think they went too far and now under-roast. Place is cute and fun atmosphere. One issue however, is that the staff feels very cliquey. A very warm welcome to local regulars, yet noticeably frosty toward people who aren't. I base this on about 6 visits. Almost feels like you are disturbing them if you are not a friend of North Fork Roasting. read more

Coffee is consistently excellent each time I have been here. That coupled with great service and a cozy atmosphere makes a winning combination. Sometimes coffee shops that know how to make great coffee can be pretentious- not this one. They always greet you with a smile. They have a loyal following, and know most of their clientele by name. There is plenty of room to sit in comfortable chairs or at the big table, and the wifi is reliable. Try their cinnamon buns with a latte! read more

I used to have such good experience going here, but the last three visits have been absolutely awful. The most recent occasion, I ordered a drink and some food. The barista was unfriendly. I was told to hold a number until I was called, so I did. I waited almost half an hour, so I checked back in with the barista only to find that my food was sitting in a bag, cold, behind the counter. I politely thanked her, and she proceeded to shove the bag at me. The previous time, the exact same thing happened. They forgot to tell me my food was ready and it just sat there until I came up and reminded the barista. The time prior to that, the kitchen told me they had never received the ticket for my order. I will note, the coffee shop was not even slightly busy, on any of these occasions, otherwise I could easily understand the slower service. Overall, I am shocked that the owners of this cute little place have let it become such a poorly-run establishment. read more

Have been buying their beans for few months now, and have pretty much tried all the varieties. Every one is a hit - properly roasted for my tastes - try the house blend for a well rounded cup or the beetljuice for a slightly richer full bodied brew. The sumatra is a great dark roast without the "burnt" flavor of some other roasters. Nice environment to linger over a cup by the fireplace on a winter day. read more

Crazy good coffee roasters. The Kenyan they're going through right now has developed into an addiction. Very laid back and chill. Good 'espresso equipment (and a probat in back). They really know what they are doing; as good as any shop in NYC or Seattle. A great addition to the community. read more

This place is so quaint and comfy. Their sweet puppy was such a wonderful surprise, and the macchiato was amazing. The service on the other hand was less than stellar... kind of rude and standoffish. I would definitely go back, but I wouldn't even bother trying to have a conversation with the staff.. just enjoy my coffee in peace. read more

We spend August in Southold and last year really enjoyed the place. This year, however, they've attracted crowds (good for them) but they are just overwhelmed (even during the week). The manager/owner of the place is really great, but the young women she has hired are just impossibly clueless. Last year I would have given 5 stars for sure (sorry, didn't think to review it) but they need to work out some of their growing pains. I think for the rest of this summer I'll drive to Aldo's. read more

Jess and team just created a masterpiece for our son's Bar Mitzvah. They bake the most delicious chemistry cake ever! Not only was it super yummy, but it was decorated perfectly! Our son was blown away and so happy with it and the guests gobbled it up! These girls are so talented and we highly recommend them. They even delivered it for us on the day of the event! The cake was flavorful and moist with the right amount of sweetness and was also firm so it made it much easier to eat than a cake that crumbles when you stick your fork in. Jess was amazing to work with leading up to the event. She shared her ideas with me and listened to ours and incorporated my son's requests regarding design and colors! I cannot say enough great things about this place. Beautiful job, beautiful cake. Thank you for helping to make our big day so amazing! read more

This place is absolutely incredible. Like... mindblowingly good. Like you might actually not mind slipping all over the road and trudging through three feet of snow to get coffee good. (I did.) Like it feels like you're stepping into someone's home and they happen to be the best baristas you'll ever know good. The dirty chai is excellent for those who like that sort of thing but your best bet? A simple latte. And for those who have an affinity for almond milk - they source it from The Giving Room right down the block. It's homemade. It's almond-y. It's frigging amazing. read more

I REALLY liked this place, but DON'T order the matcha. It is low-grade matcha, and it tastes like dirt. At $4 for an iced matcha they should spring for a ceremonial grade matcha. However, I really nice place. I hear the coffee is great. I'll have that next time. read more

If they had a 6 star I would give it! Best coffee I have ever had. The staff is extremely knowledgable and helpful. They have many different types of coffee, and serve is different ways. Iced, drip, chemex, French press, pour over. Personal favorite of mine is the beetle juice pour over. This place is perfect, keep it up! read more

We stopped at this cozy little spot on our trip to the North Fork wine country a few weekends back. The staff is very warm and welcoming him and the sitting area reminds me of a living room. Very comfortable and inviting. This place offers house roasted varieties of coffee and espresso along with a mix of small pastries and snacks. You will pay a premium price for the beverages but the flavor was on point and the service was excellent. They also offer their coffee beans for sale to go. Will return next time in the area. read more

Saw their piece on news12 and was excited. Seemed like a very charming place with character however when we came out here the staff were not friendly and quite rude. It wasn't the charming little place we thought it was going to be. Won't go back here. read more

Coffee is excellent. Truly. I go frequently - not sure I agree with other reviewers "best blueberry muffin ever" but I go for the coffee. I would agree not the friendliest people who work there - think they are more friendly if you are 'local' which I am not. Don't really care because it's great coffee. read more
