I'm telling you this as a friend- do not miss NofoDoco, but also do not go alone! I could never eat one of these crazy decadent doughnuts on my own, except for maybe the classic glazed. They have funky flavors, too. They had a Reese's flavor that I took one bite of and decided I couldn't do anymore- almost TOO rich! They're not cheap, but holy hell they're good! read more

NofoDoco catered my wedding for dessert doughnuts and oh my gosh, I'm so glad they did!!! Beautiful and fresh doughnuts with colors to match my wedding theme, and all of my guests absolutely loved them!! Thank you guys for making my wedding just that much better!! read more

Absolutely love this place! great little addition. The doughnuts are SO good. My husband and I always make a stop when we go out east, have been three times now. Freshest doughnuts and they are big and filling. The doughnuts would probably taste good even if they didn't have toppings. The coffee is also delicious and fresh. Yes maybe it is a "little" expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for and support a small business. Worth every penny. The staff is very friendly. Love small places like this out east where the owner is on premise and genuinely cares. Will absolutely keep returning!! read more

North Fork Doughnut - Caramel crumb cake - Donuts Near Me - Mattituck, New York

See all

AMAZING! The dough consistency was a perfect mix between pillowy and firm. I thought it kind of reminded me of challah a little, but in the best way possible. We got glazed, pumpkin spice, Samoa, and strawberry frosted. Each had the perfect amount of topping with out being overwhelming. Wish we lived closer to have these all the time!! read more

North Fork Doughnut - Couldn't get a picture fast enough before the family started picking at all the donuts! - Donuts Near Me - Mattituck, New York

Delicious and creative donut ideas! However, would love to see the donut base change a bit to the flavors they are frosted and decorated to be, when you get a few like we did the same plain donut base gets a bit monotonous, which is a shame because the frosting and toppings are out of this world! Would love to see a chocolate donut beneath some flavors to add richness! read more

Super excited to come out here!! I had heard so many great reviews! Came out on a Sunday with the family, early in the day.. It was quiet when we came in actually we were the customers! When we walked in the reaction from the employees was probably the most depressing and unenthusiastic I have ever seen!! You would have thought we walked in at closing (mind u it was 1:30) RUDE RUDE RUDE horrible customer service! The girl at the cash register rolled her eyes the "entire"ten minutes we were there and the young man serving the donuts seemed as if he was doing us a favor! I think we disturbed them from drinking there 7-11 coffees displayed on the counter! But the best had to be there friend who was eating a donut making humping gestures while sticking there tongue out while we were placing our order! Probably the most awkward and rude service I've ever had!!! I'm just hoping the donuts live up to the expectation! read more

If you want a good doughnut, go to this place. The doughnuts here are amazing! The only issue with this place though is that the price of a single doughnut is very high. The doughnuts are great don't get me wrong, but I feel that they are just a little bit over priced and they could be cheaper. If you are on a budget, I recommend you just go to Dunkin' Donuts to get a good doughnut but, if you are willing to spend the extra couple of bucks for a slightly better doughnut, I recommend you coming to this place. read more

Must stop on your way out east for coffee and doughnuts for breakfast, or picking up a dozen on the way home for dessert! Creative flavors and delicious classics (glazed and caramel coffee cake are a must) not to mention the friendly staff. New flavors sell out quick, so don't be upset you drove for miles without making sure they're still there! read more

We come here regularly. We are extremely pleased with the quality as well as the choices. Fresh and delicious. In addition, lovely owners. Wonderful addition to Mattituck. read more

From 2 people from the donut state, this was a damn good donut! We had the caramel coffee cake one. I would post a picture but we wolfed it down in about 3minutes. Parking is tight, but you can always park on love Lane and walk over. Burn those donut calories off! read more

I've been here a few times before, and the donuts are very good, but the service is fantastic. We stopped here on a rainy day during the COVID19 pandemic. The staff was so organized and was able to bring a smile to my family even while maintaining social distancing. Please support this little gem of a small business. They are doing everything right. read more

This place is where it's at! Super family friendly, not to mention the BEST doughnuts on Long Island (& I've had them all from Grindstone to Doughut). These take the cake! A MUST TRY next time you're anywhere near the north fork! read more

Great donuts and well worth the trip! It was disappointing on Mothers Day that they had no filled donuts ready when they opened at 6:00 a.m. I was told that these donuts wouldn't be available until 9:00!!?? I didn't pursue the issue but it seems reasonable that if you open at 6 a.m. you would have all of your doughnut selections available at that time. Still got a nice selection, but no jellies or cream filled!! :( read more

As an avid doughnut eater & coffee drinker I have to say this place alone thrives. I have been to popular places on Long Island such as Grindstone, East Main and Main and several others. I have to say in the most respectful way possible this place is by far the best. It's worth the trip wherever you might be coming from. The service here is excellent; filled with a welcoming and warm hearted staff. They also have long islands famous Sail Away coffee witch is a plus to their amazing assortments of doughnuts. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. Let's turn this humble place into something much more please! read more

So yummy. Love the interesting flavors. My favorite is maple glaze with bacon, and fruity pebbles! Beautiful presentation! Friendly staff.

Despite a variety of reviews I decided to come in today and was absolutely blown away! Their donut bar was 100% full with many flavors. They had a cool coffee bar and fridge but sadly I'm an energy drink person. I got three huge donuts at a very reasonable price for the quality of the atmosphere as well as the donut itself. 5 stars 100% will be coming back soon! read more

Fresh baked every morning. That means NO FROZEN doughnuts here. They are insanely delicious- light and fluffy. They have tons of fun flavors every day but to be honest their DOUGH is so good that the toppings are just a bonus. You can tell they take such pride in their product and it's hard to come by that these days. 5 million stars. read more

Hands down best tasting donuts in the world! Boston cream is just awesome. I made fun of my friend who drove an hour for a lemon donut, I have been apologizing ever since. The coffee donut is so good. My family loves the apple fritter, real chunks of apple. I heard they are opening another location in Bayshore. I hope it is as good. They are expensive donuts a half dozen will cost you between 20-23 dollars and they do that annoying thing where they charge you more money if you use credit card. Hey the CC thing don't agree with the expensive donut, hey what are you going to do when they produce such an amazing product. read more

The 3 star review is strictly because their doughnuts are wayyyy overpriced. A dozen doughnuts is $35! We tried just to see what the hype was about but I will not be going back. They have good doughnuts but I am not blown away by them. Can get just as good if not better closer to home. read more

better than average toppings but you should really upgrade your dough(thats if you even make your own donuts), it tastes like you guys buy dunkin' donuts plain donuts and add your own toppings. by far the saddest experience ive had with donuts...you make it look so good and then plop u bite into a dry fake tasting dunkin' donut. very disappointed read more

I had the Boston cream and it was so fresh and amazing best donut ever. . I've been eating donuts forever so I know LOL . Next time I'm gonna buy 1/2 a dozen read more

My wife and i went with our 3yr. We each got a donut and we picked up a dozen for tomorrow for when some family comes over. I had the cannoli donut. It was so good and filling. My wife had the jelly donut. She said it was full of jelly unlike most places you go to. Our 3yr ate half of hers and said it was the best donut ever. We will be back. The girl behind the counter was very nice and very helpful. I also spoke with a man who i believe is the owner. He was very helpful. We look forward to going back read more

I just received a box of donuts and a package of Sail Away cold coffee for Mother's Day! I immediately had some and was in heaven!! The donuts look so delicious and enticing!! I called thanked my niece and little nephews for their great gift!!! read more

I was surprised reading the earlier review stating the only thing better than the doughnuts was the staff. I had the opposite experience when my daughter and I paid a visit. I felt like they were doing me a favor by taking my order. Maybe the girl behind the counter was having a bad day. It wasn't like they were busy as we were the only ones in the store. The doughnut was good and I understand when you say something is craft you can seemingly charge more but was quite surprised when I heard the price. Maybe I don't understand the craft doughnut world but I found paying a little under 4 bucks for a glazed doughnut quiet excessive. read more

Delivery yesterday went off without a hitch, and even in the rain they were stopped off by 10am! Doughnuts were unique, fresh, delicious, and the nitro coffee combo were a great addition. Treat yourself, highly recommend read more

Such a good spot! Highly recommend popping in here. The donuts are delicious, the staff was friendly, and they had a large variety to choose from. read more

Not only are the girls that work there so sweet, but these donuts are INSANE!!! Their Boston cream is outrageous!!! Love the way the shop is decorated too. If you love donuts, this is the place for you!! We drive an hour to get here & it's worth it every time! read more

By far the most amazing doughnuts on the planet. I will never take a trip to the north fork again without making a stop for a dozen. They are heaven and the owner is so kind and beyond helpful. I can't wait to go back! read more

I had an issue picking up my order and the staff was so caring and genuinely courteous about it. They went out of their way to exhaust all possibilities to help me out. For their genuine kindness, I'll absolutely support this business. Grateful. read more

Poor customer service, slow, unattentive and unprofessional. The hours they are open vary on when they run out of product, yet they advertise a standard schedule. Very limited selection when they actually do have donuts available. Their advertising makes light of how if you get there too late they will be closed. They seem to think advertising a standard schedule with an asterick about how in reality they close when they run out is good business practice. They operate this establishment as if the owners are just there using the facility as a hobby for donut baking and if you are 'lucky' enough to get there while they actually have some for sale you should be honored. If I am going to spend $12.00 for 3 'craft' donuts, I expect them to be so divine that I would not mind splurging on so many calories. Not oily and covered in childrens cereal like Fruity Pebbles. This place has the potential to be a great niche on the North Fork.. needs major improvement. read more

My doughnut was wet and doughy, for $3+ for single doughnut you think they'd bake it right. In addition to subpar doughnuts the parking lot is always filled with giant trucks from the tent rental place next door making parking both difficult and dangerous. Can not see this place surviving to next summer with the type of business they do. read more

Doughnuts are my thing. I love them. So I was super excited to try this place out. It is a bit of a trek for me, like 45 minutes, but completely worth it. I had the peanut butter and jelly, Samoa, caramel coffee cake, cannoli, and chocolate potato chip donuts. All were AMAZING and completely worth the trip. Their doughnuts are light and fluffy. Our favorites were definitely the Samoa and caramel coffee cake, two of their best sellers! Also love how this is a family business, with the owners there on site. Everyone is so friendly. We even just hung out for an hour waiting for another batch of fresh doughnuts to come out. We were just there a few days ago and I'm already figuring out when I'll go back next. Love NoFoDoCo!! read more

So worth the hype!!! I'm not usually the biggest fan of donuts but was in the mood to try one and was more than happy with it. I tried the holy cannoli donut and it was AMAZING. The donuts are dense in a perfect way and the chocolate icing was incredible- just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the place is cute and very very clean!!! read more

Simply unbelievable!!! I've tried almost every donut, all amazing :) Worth the $$$. Wish they had more locations throughout NY

My husband and I have been there three times and every time I think I've found my favorite donut flavor but I try another one and it becomes my favorite. The first time I had a Samoa, and it was delish, loaded with chocolate, caramel and coconut on a fluffy yeast donut, yum. But then I tried the caramel coffee cake, again yum. Then when we went again they only had one caramel coffee cake and my husband likes that flavor so I relented and let him have it with the stipulation I get a bite, so I had the Jelly! Well I think I have my favorite....thats until next time! YUM! read more

So i live in the town this place is in, and have to admit I have been avoiding it because I am always on a diet :-) - however, decided to give it a shot and went late in the day - so my favorite kinds were gone but I did try the sugar donut and the s'more donut - and they are incredible. Aside from being the biggest donut I have ever seen (our intention was to share one but then I refused to share) the flavor is amazing. Next up for me is the glazed donut and boston cream - but in the interim if you have not tried this place you are missing out on something special and unique. read more

Overall the donuts were quite delicious. Some were much larger than your typical donut shops. The bad is that the prices are rather steep. A dozen donuts will cost you in the area of $30- $36 for donuts??? That's a bit ridiculous for donuts. Also seating is very limited. I don't know why they have so few seats. This should be addressed to accommodate more patrons that would love to stay & eat their donuts at the establishment. Oh, one more thing , the coffee was also delicious. read more

Specialty doughnuts with a flare! I love this place. The fruity pebbles donuts are amazing and the cinnamon roll ones I had as well as the bacon maple walnut were incredible. read more

Went here with the family today and so glad that we did. The selection was great and their doughnuts were super fresh! The doughnuts were delicious, airy and had great flavor in themselves but the toppings pushed it over the edge...yum! The coffee was also superb. People mentioned the price being high but I didn't think so considering they're handmade and huge! read more

If your looking for a different kind of donut that is out of the ordinary, this is the place. Donuts like cereal killer (covered with fruity pebbles), canoli donut or regulars like chocolate frosted. They are a bit pricey though. Each donut is over $3 depending on type & a dozen donuts is over $30. Give them a try though, one donut won't break the bank :) read more
