This location has been the best norm's experience I've ever had hosts were welcoming there was a wait but nothing to bad some people were getting angry at the hosts but it's not their fault people need to realize they just give you an estimated time based on customers who just eat and leave but there's lots of customers that eat and then stay chatting at their table not realizing they're holding up the incoming customers anyway after about 20 minutes we were seated it took awhile for our server to actually come to our table but it's understandable so when she did arrive we placed our drink and food order to avoid waiting around enjoyed our food payed and headed out next time I want breakfast I'll have to come back to this norms read more

I am a frequent patron of Norms and have been a consistent client for 16 years. I didn't give 5 stars as this location missed the mark on one item described below. My family and I frequent this Brand as our family go to. Food is always delicious and served hot. My server was Lourdes and she was very knowledgeable on the menus and really good about offering me add-ons. She was very friendly and always keep my coffee cup full. Portions this time around were off and I understand that maybe a training and development subject for the cooking staff, but besides that, the food quality, presentation and flavor was consistent and delicious. I ordered the T-Bone steak and Eggs and part of my steak was missing, however flavor, presentation and cooking the steak to my liking was perfect as always. Staff was amazingly wonderful from the moment I walked in, the restaurant was clean and warm. I absolutely love how the staff from beginning to end is so professional and kind. Great job Carson team! Went here for dinner last night 6pm Last time for sure. Wife and I both ordered T-bone steak. No baked potatoes, "ran out" (it was 6pm) Evidently steaks are cooked earlier in the day. Regardless how your order Veggies were a pile of almost cooked cold carrots, not like the picture that shows a variety. Soup was cool, not hot or warm. Salad was actually good. The only good thing beside the salad was our server Karen. She was nice, apologetic and efficient. Will never go back though. It was the worst meal I have had in a very long time. Not necessarily the most efficient server. Kept on missing items or forgot something and had slight attitude when prompted for items. Took 3 hours to complete our meal. He did seemed overwhelmed so probably a by product of the environment. I ordered the fish and chips, fish was ok nothing special. The fries were not seasoned and not the best quality, they were ok. Was there on Saturday 17 of August had the worst experience we got there about 8:30 A.M we got seated it took about 10 min. To get asked what we wanted to drink coffee came about 5 min. Later we say and waited to get order taken about 15 min. And during that time no coffee refills order taken and waited about 40 min to get our food which was not cooked as to our spwcifications and during the 45 min wait no coffee r3filla again I had to get up and ask for the refill from another waiter. The restaurant was pretty empty and usually there really good but today it was horrible I will not be returning or be recommend it. Also the soup and salad came AFTER the entrees. We sat for 4 minutes with our entrees with no utensils which makes no sense. It's a bad sign when a manager has to clean tables instead of seating customers. Even worse when the manager fails to notice a customer concealing a dog under her clothing. It wouldn't have annoyed me if she didn't constantly tell it to stop moving at the table directly behind me. My "medium" Porterhouse steak was overcooked and required several layers of A-1 sauce to be edible. My baked potato was ruined when I scooped up the sour cream in a cup and found a very long black hair in it. I ate the steak first since the waitress didn't check up on me. It wasn't her hair, though. The baked potato was replaced with one not contaminated this time. After asking for and receiving a refill of my drink, I waited about 10 minutes for the check and finally gave up. The manager was aware of the problem with my food, but nearly rang up the wrong order which would have been less than my meal. My honesty wasn't appreciated. The reason I went to Norms today was that I was sent a discount to lure me back after my last order several months ago at another location. So the manager made me choose between a discount for the bad service or the discount coupon code from Norms. I wasn't looking for anything free, but it would have been nice to at least receive an apology. Had they been sincere, I wouldn't have left this review. The few people there were mostly ordering a cheap $4.99 breakfast special and probably didn't tip. Despite the bad treatment, I still left a tip, but not the usual 15-20%. Most of the restaurant was empty, which is probably due in part to the poor reputation on Yelp. Unfortunately I saw the Google rating instead, which is suspiciously much higher. Lesson learned. I used to love Norms. But now that I've experienced bad service at several locations this year, there's clearly a problem with management and the quality of their employees. If I wanted poor service and being surrounded by ghetto people, I'd have gone to Denny's. read more

First time at this location. Went for breakfast, around 0900. Was greeted and seated right away. However, waited about 10 minutes before the server came around to ask if I wanted coffee/water. Coffee was not good, but acceptable, got even coffee grinds in my cup. I ordered the Steak and Eggs Special. As expected, T Bone Steak was bland and dry. The eggs over easy could use a little bit more cooking time. The has brown was just okay. The best part though was the Pancakes. It light, fluffy, moist and buttery. Service did get better after receiving my order. She came around to check on me and refill my coffee cup which I declined. Overall experience my just average. I had to slow her down, so she could really understand, it's not the food but the system of anyone being able to go through everyone's online order and the location of the "pick up spot" is literally next to a person trying to eat. I'd never been to any NORMS restaurants until this brand new location. I suppose the modern decor is so different from the old ones. Hubby always asks me to try NORMS for early morning breakfast but I never wanted to. I have started to like diner food a lot these days so this was a good time to try NORMS. I really liked the flavored sweet teas beverages here, the pomegranate is my favorite. That few times we came in I ordered the same thing which was tuna cheese melt on wheat bread. Seriously the tuna melt here was one of the best I'v ever had, I can't seem to get enough of it. Sister likes chicken Parmesan, chicken tenders and breakfast plate. The pancakes are not bad here but I think IHOP still has better ones. They have some Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes, but we like root beer float as dessert better. The service is always so friendly but it does get very slow when they are busy. And at times we had to send our food back cause they were not right even though we order the same things most of the time. I think this has been an issue with many dining people here so they need to deal with this problem soon. Still the service is much better than usual diners so I am good with it most of the time. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Me and my family regularly come to this location however, today the two female hostess that were checking in parties picked and chose who to sit before us. We only a party of six noticed a more than accommodating table for us that was left uncleaned and their excuse was they let five parties go before us because they only had small tables available. There was a party of 8 who one of the hostess kept calling and the party never showed. After repeating 15 times last call for the party of 8. 10 minutes later the party showed and she sat them down. Whole time the two girls laughed and giggled the entire time they noticed our frustration having three small children with us.
