A friend sent me a pair of booties that she wanted for Christmas on their website but I decided to call & see if they had them in store so I could get them sooner. I spoke with an associate and gave her the item number for the shoes. She tells me VERY RUDELY, "You can buy them on our website." Mhm, I know this but not what I asked. After putting me on hold for 15 minutes, she came back and tells me there's one pair left in the size I needed. I asked her if she can hold it for me and I'll come get them. With the most attitude I've ever heard, she asked, "Well how long are you going to be?" I told her 30 minutes at the most and she agreed. When I get to the store, I walked up to the register and said that I had a pair of booties that were being held for me. The guy looks around and said, "There's nothing up here. I can help the next person." Oooooo I WAS FUMING. I told the guy that I had called about a pair of booties and someone said they would hold them for me. He gets on his radio and then about 10 minutes later, a lady brings the booties up and TOSSES them on the counter. The guy didn't tell me what my total was, didn't tell me have a good day, just handed me my receipt and said, "Next customer." I will NEVERRRRR come back here. If those weren't a Christmas present, I wouldn't have purchased them. All the workers I saw were maybe in high school and need a serious attitude adjustment. If you want to be an asshole, don't work in retail. I regret giving this business a single penny of my hard earned money. read more

This store is not someplace you just "run in" to find what you need. For two reasons. First, since this is basically a discount outlet, they may not even have what you are looking for. Second, if they have it, your size is probably buried at the bottom of the pile or the back of the wall rack. There are a lot of pluses here, however. First, if you do find what you need the discounts are pretty big, so you get that "HA! I did not pay full price!" feeling. Second, the staff here are all pretty helpful and really friendly, so you feel glad you showed up. Word of warning. Around holiday time this place gets INSANE, but the prices are awesome so worth braving the crowds. Overall, this is a great place to bargain hunt. read more

The service is always good here and now that you can basically check out anywhere in the store where you can find a salesperson, the service is also speedy. The Rack always has tons of stuff to wade through so shopping here is definitely an acquired taste. Finding a salesperson is easy because they are all wearing bright green t-shirts. The prices are reasonable and if you find exactly what you want then buying it is a no-brainer! Parking here is usually relatively easy, except on the weekends. There are a number of restaurants close by that you can frequent once you have maxed out your credit card. Every so often you can find a designer item here that is ridiculously cheap! First and foremost, the staff has always been extremely nice. But I only walk into this place if a friend wants to go. I understand the appeal to go to Nordstroms rack. Paying less for top brands but the thing is, you're not getting a lot of Nordstroms clearance stuff. They are making this stuff particularly for "The Rack" When I first tried them out I was excited about my finds. But nothing I've ever bought there lasted, it all seemed to fit wrong or have seams in the wrong places. Something is off about their stuff. However, if you want nice clothing for your kids, I love their selection. Kids grow, so it's not A big deal that it doesn't last. On the positive side, I bought my kids some Hudson jeans 3 years ago and passed them down to their little brother and they are still going strong! read more

Love Nordstrom, but don't love the price? If so, Nordstrom rack is for you! First off, you can expect the selection to be significantly slimmer than at a regular Nordstrom store. Nordstrom will ship items here on a regular basis, so the inventory is constantly changing. Staff is friendly and helpful, but nothing like the level of service you would get at a regular Nordstrom store. If you come in here, I recommend having a a few different things in mind, since it's hit/miss on what they currently have in stock. This time I came in for some running shoes and dress shoes....I scored a pair of each for significantly less than I could find the same items online! If you spend some time looking around, you can get great prices on higher-end clothing and accessories! read more

I love the Rack. I just bought the hottest pair of Michael Kors sunglasses for $25! That included the case and cleaning cloth. The sales associate was very helpful, she scrounged around multiple eyeglass cases until she found me a cloth. That is not the service I am used to receiving at a discount store. As with all discount stores, it is a little hard to shop without some serious digging. The shoes, however, are set up quite nice and I found 2 pairs of boots I've been wanting for about a year now. Another associate tried very hard to set me up with the best discount when searching for my boot's mate. Talk about service! If you are not shy, just jump straight to the back of the dressing room area. You don't have to wait for a room, and there are plenty of mirrors to make sure you see all the right angles while searching for that perfect outfit. I found the cutest black 50's style wrap dress for 19.99 and those boots I mentioned? Under $30 dollars each. For the amount I would normally spend on one pair of shoes at Nordstrom, I got sunglasses, 2 pairs of boots, and a new dress. And it is ALL high quality designer wear. As I said, I love the rack. Since I last visited this store, this place has moved and thsnk goodness!! When it was in the mall it was dark and grungy and I felt dirty just being in the store. BUT NOW, the place is bigger, much brighter, the lsyout is much better, they have more female clothing and accessories. They had a ton of workers on and were pretty busy but the dressing room had no line, as did the registers, and every register had someone waiting for a customer. The female accessories had so many very cute and very trendy items. Accessories prices were kind of expensive though. The female clothing had something super cute and up to date on styles on every rack. I had a huge armful and the prices on the clothes was very reasonable, think $15 to $30 for sweaters, shirts, tanks, shorts, skirts, jeggings, dresses. Great deals! If you're in the market for warm gloves, try to pick up a pair of SmartWool gloves (if I left any on the rack, no promises). Wow, I love this Nordstrom Rack! I usually go to the Rack to buy shoes and I have a hard time finding anything cute in a size 5. This store had tons of cute shoes in my size I had to put some back! That almost never happens for me. I was very happy with this. I didn't really check out the clothes because I had to leave. I did peruse the women's handbags and they had some cute ones...but not something I realllly needed. I almost came back the next day to get more shoes, but decided I should save some $ LOL. Horrible Service now! Service has gotten progressively worse at this store. My last several trips have been disappointing because I couldn't find the right sizes and there was no-one available to help. The last straw was the other day, I called the store to see if they had something in stock that I had found on the web and got a complete runaround and basically was told that I would have to come into the store and look myself. I love coming to Nordstrom Rack, always can snag a good deal on something. What I truly love about this store in particular is their structure. With as many people that shop there it's always so neat. Meaning I don't have to eyeballfor a cashier to ring me up. There is always one at the register and even now you can be rung up anywhere in the store. All the associates seem to have a pay by phone option if you have a card that is. Which is super convenient and fast. Also their fitting rooms aren't having bulk clothing hanging in the fitting rooms from previous lazy customers. They seem to always be on top of their game. Kudos to this establishment, its associates and management. Retail is one hell of a stressful job. read more

I really want to give this particular location 4 and a half stars. There is only one small problem I have with this store. The size 4-5 in shoes for women is literally half an aisle! Compared to other Nordstrom racks that will have at least one full aisle dedicated for every shoe size. That is essentially my only complaint. I always seem to find a good selection of designer denim anything from 7 for all Mankind, Joe's, and True Religion. It's also nice that now Clear the Racks happens every couple months. That's where all clearance is an extra 25% off. The handbag selection is good too. Many Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Tory Burch and Dooney Bourke options to choose from. I wish this location wasn't so close to my house because I frequent it way too often! read more

I went to Nordstrom Rack today with my sister and much to my dismay, the service was awful! While the cashier was very kind and helpful, the woman working the dressing room today was rude, judgmental, and condescending. She made my sister feel uncomfortable and worthless with the way she talked down to her and cut her eyes. She blatantly exchanged looks with the other person working, as if to say, "yuck! Do you see this girl?!". I will NOT be going back here based on this very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

She took the extra time to go through and make sure all of our information was up to date and correct on our Nordstrom account even though they were super busy. Poor experience overall. I purchased several pairs of shoes at the Spokane valley Nordstrom Rack and when they went on sale, I went back days later to look at other products. The manager there reported she could not do a price adjustment but said she "had to be fair and restock the shoes". I spent over $400 on shoes and was buying other shoes/clothing from this store at my second visit. I don't return many things, but out of principle I returned the shoes because I was so disgusted with the service. Will avoid this store in the future- not worth the time/effort involved. Not the experience I expect from any Nordstrom affiliate. read more

I go to the Rack specifically for nyx makeup, check out the jewlery, bras and shoes. These judgemental ignorant brauds working the floor need a good lesson in life. Nordstroms would be appalled to see how they judge and harass me when I'm shopping. I work construction and look weathered after work. I even found a swimsuit here that fit amazing...I am super hard to shop for, so when I find something I like I buy it! This Rack used to have plus sizes and kids sizes. I get sick of Spokane store thinking if you are plus size you would not want to wear nice clothes. If you are a juniors or misses size, this is a good store, but not if you are over a size 14, or have kids. read more

Cashiers very nosy. I take no pleasure in being constantly asked what I am buying what for and why. Keep your questions to yourself and do your job! :( Also witnessed a younger worker with a Russian accent, who was restocking the costume jewelry, practically yell at a senior citizen over questions on the size of a ring! Nordstrom Rack workers really need to be reminded of proper customer rep. etiquette. Be helpful WHEN ASKED, and keep your emotions/opinions where they belong. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is great in general, but my review is about their return process, which takes forever. It took 25 minutes for the customer service rep. to start and finish my return (this didn't include the time I had to wait in line). This isn't the first time I have shopped here or returned items, and each time I have a return the process is incredibly slow. I return items at other stores, and their processes are much faster and more efficient. Maybe they purposefully make it slow in order to discourage people from returning items, but it just makes it seem like the company doesn't know how to upgrade its return process. And it's not fair to the employees because they continually apologize at how long it's taking and genuinely seem to feel bad. It's such a difference between how smooth/fast the return process is at the regular Nordstrom. read more
