Wowza! I must say their customer service is amazing. My husband and son have Red Wing Heritage boots and swear by them. Now, since I live in south San Diego, CA- the nearest Red Wing doesn't have the amazing selection complete to this location. So, we stopped by here on our way to the airport to head back home. Remember, due to COVID19- this location (from my visit June 13th)- is practicing social distancing. About 4 people are allowed in this store at a time. I picked the women's Iron Rangers in black. Sunny was the one helping me. Although there were only sizes 8 and 9s available in brown- I figured let me place an order ($10 delivery fee via UPS) to get shipped to my house. At that visit- I felt the 8s were too tight. So, I went ahead and ordered the 8.5s. I had a few questions for Sunny- since Red Wings are a pricey (but, we'll worth every cent) purchase. Since the Iron Rangers are stitched bottom- the product can be resoled for $100!! Heck yeah! Free laces- CHECK! Boot shining- CHECK!! But, Sunny mentioned if the size 8.5s didn't fit- I would have to ship them back to Spokane- to get the correct size. And I would have to pay for the shipping. A week later, I did receive the 8.5s- and they were too big. So, I called the store back & spoke with Kathy (store manager). She made note to have the size 8s sent out upon receiving my 8.5s. Keep in mind- shipping comes from Minnesota. I called Kathy back the following week to inquire about my order and she said within a week. However, I got my size 8s the next day. I specify wanted these boots for riding my Harley. And I'm in love with them. Kathy called me a few days later to check on my shipment. How great is that?! She even mentioned- if my nearest local doesn't have a style shoe I'm interested in- they can actually order it to that store- that way I can try it out! Now I know! read more

We have been to other locations in the past and nobody has come close to comparing to the exceptional service we received today. Went in to check on a sizing of Iron Rangers. The lady who helped us out, Cathy I believe, went above and beyond with her service. She helped us find the right size, where our pressure points in our feet were, etc. All & all it was a great experience! read more

I love my Red Wing boots, but was disappointed with their re-sole service. The service cost me $125 and was supposed to include a re-sole, oil, and new laces. When I got there to pick up my boot, I noticed the old laces were still on the boot, and when I asked about the new laces I was argued with and told I could have a cheaper pair of laces if I wanted, but I would have to pay extra for the leather laces that previously came with the boot. After more discussion (me vocalizing my displeasure with the situation), one of the employees went into the back and brought me out the new leather laces for free. When I got home to replace the laces, I noticed the previous laces were never taken out of the boot when being oiled, and furthermore the boots weren't even wiped down before the oil was applied. I cleaned and wiped down the boots before bringing them in, but this level of laziness was not expected when paying for the service. I know the boot wasn't even wiped down because there is still dirt in the cracks and seams, and my dogs hair in the tongue folds. The re-sole looks great and I love my red wings, but the extras never got done. read more

Her boot need some repair year after purchased ,they fixed them no problem.My laces wore out replaced no problem.I AM GETTING READY TO GO BACK FOR LIGHTER PAIR OF HIKERS. As a commercial electrician, I've been buying Red Wing boots since 2006. They last the longest for the money and don't take much if any break-in time. I moved to Spokane from Sacramento in 2009 and have been really excited to see the valley store open because now they carry boots that my wife can get too. The people are amazing that work there. I drop my boots off on Friday after work, and pick them up on Saturday. They have new eyes/hooks, new laces, and fresh oil. This is all on the house as something Red Wing just does. I don't have to send them away to another state and be out of a pair of boots over a simple hook broken, or an eye needing to be turned. read more

Extremely disappointed. As a business owner in the construction field I've been a huge disciple of the Red Wing product and brand for years. After purchasing the highest end Red Wing steel toe boot available only 8 months ago I was disappointed when the boot wore out in less than a year. I wasn't going to let this ruin my loyalty to the brand and decided to go in for another pair. I was suggested a pair from their Irish Setter line, after being told that they were even superior to the Red Wing branded line. After just a couple days, my feet hurt so badly that I couldn't even put the boots on anymore. Upon returning to the store I was told that the Irish Setter line does not qualify for their 30 day fit guarantee, something that could have been explained to me at the time of purchase which would have definitely affected my purchasing decision. Now I'm stuck with a $220 set of boots that I can't even wear and a sour taste in my mouth. The employees that I dealt with on both occasions were helpful and did what they could, but to only honor a "guarantee" on certain products and not others, and not make it clear to customers what they are getting is disappointing. read more
