The store is a little poorly laid out, but I think that's a common feature of a lot of Walmart locations. The two things that really bring this location down for me are: the online order pickup, and the parking lot. The online order pickup is located in a odd part of the store, it's not at the customer service counter, and even for just one item you still have to go in and there's not really a clear space to stand or clear marking of where the area is. The second thing that brings this location down is the parking lot. The parking lot is absolutely a mess. It doesn't help that it's coming off of State highway 95, but it's difficult to get into, it's difficult to navigate once you're inside, and it's difficult to find a good place to park. I guess I lied, there are three things that bring this place down. The third thing is that it's far away from Coeur d'Alene and the freeway.

I must grab this bag full of Cinnamon Rolls. I retrieve them, as I sprint inside. I felt like I was being watched by Walmart. Constantly. Seo immediately grabs his Cinnamon Rolls as I stop him. "Seo NO!!" He drops the box, it didn't make much difference as the box already had many damages to it. I put on some nitrile gloves, as I picked the box up. I inspected it, I thought it was safe. Til I remembered, we must always check dates. I read the date on the box as I nearly fainted. If Seo ate these he could've died. My sweet little buddy Seo Young, dead by WONDER Cinnamon Rolls from Walmart?! I gasped, I took a picture as quick as I could. I ended up having to sit Taka and Seo down, warning them about the dangers of Walmart and what can happen if you order or even dare go there. The bathrooms are generally unclean and could use hourly cleaning due to their high traffic. On many occasions, I've found some great pieces, whether it is a knick-knack, makeup, or clothing, etc. When doing exchanges or refunds, it has been a mixed experience. On some occasions, depending on the employee one encounters, it is either fun, average, or unprofessional; there is no in between. One encounter I had was incredibly hostile, and unfortunately, my nephew, a minor, was there to experience a grown man who was a Target employee who targeted my nephew with racism, projected hatred, and entitlement. I asked the Target employee a simple question while checking out. The man was volatile in his retort. The employee screamed at us in an attempt to humiliate us in front of others, and then aggressively threw a basket in our direction. It was an absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate experience. It was clear that the man had a mental health illness and had not been a safe individual to work within a shared environment. He was easily triggered. I reported this man to the manager, and it was handled immediately. As for the value of the products in the store, I would say it is mid-range, with high pricing. You can easily overspend so definitely go in there with a conscious budget.

I will shorten the story to say we purchased our furniture 10/31/21 and did not get our delivery until 11/11/22 ... MORE THAN 1 YEAR LATER. I might have almost been understanding of Wallaroo's issues given all the supply chain issues that resulted from lock-downs, materials shortages, inflation and other Covid mismanagement since Jan 2021 BUT ... Ryan Joachim was my salesman and he gave us 3 different stories over the year that did not line up. In the end, I had to conclude that they sold my "in stock" furniture to someone else and expected more in but then it was delayed. Ryan had to tell us something so he would just make up stories but didn't remember the previous ones. Anyway, we like the furniture and got a good price, so they got 2 stars instead of one.
