I frequent this Nordstrom Rack in Braintree and the one in Westwood at University Ave quite often! It can be hit or miss depending on the week. I mostly come here to check out new shoe inventory, usually HOKA, Brooks, and OnClouds that they have at discounted prices. For clothing, they have a decent selection: Free People, Madewell, ASTR the label, ALLSAINTS, Naked Wardrobe, Rag & Bone, Good American, Frame jeans, Paige jeans, and Joe's to name a few. Nice store to shop in for good buys. The prices on their clothing and accessories are pretty reasonable. The store is well stocked and the merchandise was arranged and displayed fairly neatly. I got some excellent deals on some clothes and the clothes that I bought are of very good quality. The people working on the sales floor as well as the employees up at the cash registers all seemed friendly and more than willing to help. The store is neat and clean. Very well maintained. I would recommend this Nordstrom Rack location to others. read more

I bought a dress online, wasn't exactly what I wanted so 2 days after receiving it I decided to return it to the Braintree Nordstrom Rack. I had all of the packaging and the order #, it was delivered without a receipt. When I took out my debit card, the original form of payment, the cashier said "we always have trouble with that bank" Then offered me a gift card, I didn't want a gift card. I expected a credit. After speaking with the manager, still couldn't give me a credit or cash. They told me I would have to send it back and emailed me a prepaid FedEx label. Received the credit and another $9.95 was taken of the total. I've since spoken with Nordstrom credit and straightened it out I have never been treated so rudely by management. I will not be shopping there any time soon read more

Brand new Nordstrom Rack location just opened at the Marketplace at Braintree, today, September 30, 2016. Completely renovated, this place has no resemblance of the old Kmart that used to be in this spot. Large store, good stock of items and extremely organized. Staff seemed somewhat friendly, helpful and kind. Lots around the store and trying to be helpful. The best thing about the Braintree store is the checkout area. It's at the front of the store, with multiple different check out stations in different departments. For some odd reason, checkout at the Westwood store is in a weird spot and sometimes cluttered. This place was hopping on opening day, and overall was a good place to be. Very spacious, open and well stocked. Still cannot give it 5 stars since prices are higher than Marshalls or TJ Maxx, but this location is just as good as the Westwood location. 4 stars. read more

I am a cashier who works at a similar retail store. Help is hard to come by. However, when I ask the manager to help the cashier, who is having an issue and then does not help or try to rectify the situation after waiting a significant amount of time over half hour, with line and cashier. It then becomes unfair and extremely bad customer service. The store does not have anything than other discount stores to make it worthwhile to shop there. read more

When this store first opened, it was just okay. As of 2021, the sparse selection of cheap-looking merchandise and the disorganized, messy racks makes this store no different from a thrift store. Much of the clothing consists of sweatpants, an abundance of skinny jeans, T shirts that look like rags, and ugly yarn sweaters. The shoe department offers reject shoes that nobody really wants in colors such as butterscotch and red. How does Nordstrom Rack expect to remain in business operating this way? I like this Nordstrom Rack. I didn't get to spend a lot of time here but it's very spacious and organized similar to the one at University Station. The shoes racks were amazing. again, organized and easy to find. will need to come back to check this place out more. read more

Customer service overall is ok far from what I'd expect for this store. Inventory is good it's kind of hit or miss

I am ready to check out so I go up and there is a line. No problem I'll wait even though at the Braintree Ma store there are always more employees than customers in the store but no one seems to be around to help at the front. I get up to the front and the cashier looks at the glassware and goes well I have nothing to wrap this and I am just shocked like can't you figure something out? Then she picks up a phone call to transfer not even telling the customer please hold while she finishes up me and she ignores the line behind me. Through all this I forgot a gift receipt so I asked could she print me one she makes this big deal and says you should have asked me while in transaction and I was just shocked since she was on the phone most of the transaction . Then I asked can you make sure that's not possible she asked someone and they said no. Whatever my only choice was to waist more customers time while she returns my items. While returning them she told me I owed 2 cents, how did I owe more? She couldn't explain didn't swipe my card again and some how magically gave me a gift receipt. She told me when I told her just ask for help that she has been there longer and she's not asking. She also told me she basically didn't know how to do her job and didn't know why the machine was doing this. I am horrified at this customer service. I shop and spend so much money here and for her to look at me and ask for 2 more cents to get gift receipts that should be free like who is this women? Unprofessional! I'm really second guessing shopping here as much as I have and in the future. Also, when I emailed customer care it says they no longer take emails. Why cause of your horrible service? read more

Nicely organized and friendly staff. One less star for the limited merchandise (high-end designer brands) compare to the Boston location. Great parking lot and easy walk to redline. Bathroom should be better kept-odor was unplesant for the shoe aisles. read more

WORST COMPANY EVER. No one decides to tell you the return policy when you purchase something. I remember the return policy being 90 days and all of a sudden it's 45 days...went in to return a jumpsuit but NOPE. "Unfortunately it's past 45 days we can't return it" so I ask to put it on a giftcard, NOPE "unfortunately we don't do that here" are you F-ING kidding me??? What kind of company does this?? NO ONE. I called the customer service line and the woman claims she can't do anything to help with in store purchases , she can only help with online purchases....HA. Shame on you Nordstrom Rack. If you're a normal person with a busy life, don't shop here. You can return a damn thing. read more
