We spent a few hours here with our grandchildren, enjoyed a great lunch at Legal Seafoods, grabbed drinks at the J.P. Licks ice cream emporium, and went shopping at the Paper Source. I honestly shouldn't say too many great things about the renovations to the parking lot yet.... they added tons of islands and curbs inside each parking row. I am nearly certain that the curb cuts are too tight for all of the plowing vehicles, but we will just wait and see. Anyway, the entire plaza looks great. Everything was completely redone and renovated. Everything looks brand new. My favorite changes are the addition of so many plants and the changes to the parking areas. It definitely seems considerably more user friendly and safe for pedestrians. They added many benches and what appears a small "garden" like area in front of TJ Maxx too. Pavement was all repaved and all the stores just look completely refreshed. Definitely some great improvements made, keeping Norwood look great. This specific plaza I use mostly as a cut through to get onto the highway or cut over towards Best Buy, since it's so much faster without dealing with the highway traffic. Either the Dedham Mall or Legacy Place has mostly every other shop you would need.... the rest of the average chain retail stores are here, in this two sided plaza (one side Providence Highway and one side Washington Street). Lots of parking and the many stop signs and crosswalks throughout the parking lot help keep people going slow and cautious.
