Legacy place is an awesome outdoor shopping mall with a variety of different attractions and entertainment. They have a large-multi level parking lot, as well as various outdoor parking lots throughout the area. For entertainment, you have the SuperLux movie theater, Kings Bowling, and the Apple Store. They have a ton of stores such as Banana Republic, Nike, Vineyard Vines and more. For food, there is a plethora of options including Yard House, Genki Ya Sushi, Shake Shack, CAVA, and Temazcal (and more!) - you really can't go wrong here. This is one of my favorite shopping areas, it's always fun to walk the "cube" and then stop for a movie or bite to eat. read more

Pretty nice open air shopping mall for the area. It's nice that they now have a parking garage, since surface parking can be hard to find in the (weekend) afternoons. It gets crowded on the weekends, so give yourself extra time to find parking and exit. read more

It's right off I-95 with crystal clear signage to get you there quickly. They offer free parking in a huge multi-level parking lot. There are over 80 tenants, a real bounty of clothing and fashion, bars and restaurants, beauty and wellness vendors, specialty stores like Apple and Warby Parker, and amusements like a paint bar, escape room and a movie theater. We spent a few hours here with our grandchildren, enjoyed a great lunch at Legal Seafoods, grabbed drinks at the J.P. Licks ice cream emporium, and went shopping at the Paper Source. purchased (via official Lululemon website) $114 worth of hair accessories for my nieces (3 headbands & 3 hair clips). It was pricey but they like the brand. I was disgusted when I saw the cellophane wrapped items presented like I had ordered from Temu or Alibaba. The combined value looked like it came from a bin at a close out store for $15. Legacy place is a large shopping Center with what appears to be a large parking lot. I was there early in the morning but it does fill up especially near the holidays and later in the day. They have every type of store you could imagine. I go for Whole Foods, ll bean, and William Sonoma. They do have a parking garage. I think the employees park there and save the spaces for the customers. I will return but I will go early in the day when I know parking is not an issue. read more

A large shopping center with a large parking deck, a parking lot, and traffic that backs up very quickly. They need some staff helping smooth out the traffic, as it's almost always backed up in and out of the complex. Restaurants, shopping, and entertainment all the same complex. But really tough to get around in the car. read more

Legacy Place has a lovely selection of shops. It is an outdoor complex that has clothing stores, restaurants, cafes, a Whole Foods (& Costco down the street), PLUS a Showcase cinema ! I have for coming here for years and it is always a great time. Some of my favorite stores here include: Madewell, Lululemon, Vuori, Altar'd State, & CAVA. What a shock to actually walk thru Legacy and remember what it was not that long ago to now almost a ghost town. Parking was abundant, customers peppered here and there. Was heartbreaking to see. My thought would be to repurpose parking along the circumference to a permanent open air structure with a roof and fans and each restaurant could have a section all adjoining with safe distancing and open air circulation and for colder weather still open air but with heated towers and all weather is protected by its roof. Almost like a food court outside. Bring back your lost customers! read more

Large outside shopping / entertainment center, I met up with friends here. Super convenient with a huge parking lot but it's also s short walk from the Dedham Corporate Center commuter rail station. Clothing, accessories, candy, restaurants, an upscale bowling alley and a cinema here. When I was here on a weeknight, there was a visible security presence. Lots of lights, lots of parking, lots to shop for. I'll bet this place gets mobbed at Christmastime! read more

Legacy Place is AWESOME...I just love it! There are tons of store and the overall place has a great feel to it. The parking is questionable but it is free and after we looped around we got a spot in the garage. We stopped in at LL Beans and the Paper Store then grabbed some yummy food at Whole Foods since they have a cold bar, hot bar, and soup bar. We were pressed for time and it was late so this was the perfect option rather than loosing an hour at one of the restaurants. Another Yelper mentioned no public bathroom which is a scary ordeal for me. With 4 girls someone has to go. So I found they have these nifty little maps that you can pick up. It lists out all of the restaurants and stores and which ones have public bathrooms that you can stop in at. We will be going back to check out bowling at Kings or a movie at the Cinema. I am sure it will be crazy during the holidays but I am sure it will be worth the trip but I'll have to plan for parking. read more

Parking on weekends is ridiculous and it's a prissy area. The stores are always changing and this place just lacks diversity. Over hyped.

Stay clear of this place! The rudest people in the world shop here! Assholes everywhere that can't park straight. The people walk in the middle of the roads on their phones and ignore you. Security guards do nothing. I have NEVER encountered such rude people in my life. I just got screamed at by a lunatic because I was parked next to a handicapped spot and he claimed he couldn't open his door which he clearly could! Awful!! read more

It excels in the summer, where warm weather allows you to wander the chic outdoor mall for countless leisurely hours. It boasts plenty of restaurants (some of them are even tasty!), a movie theatre and a bowling alley. Granted, all of these things can get ludicrously crowded, but buy tickets ahead of time and make reservations everywhere. You'll do ok. read more

What an amazing plaza! Whole Foods Market, Williams Sonoma, Kings Bowling & PF Changs... Need I say more? We met a friend for some cocktails and bowling and decided to wander in and out of some stores while we waited for our lane to free up at Kings. It was bitter cold the night we went and parking was a bitch because this place is busy... very busy. With all the amazing restaurants including Legal C, many people are in and out of here. You will most likely need to circle the lot, driving up and down the isles until randomly you are in the right place at the right time. They do have a pretty decent sized parking garage but on the bitter bitter cold nights, who wants to walk that far. I would rather circle the lot a few times and take my chances on finding a closer spot. The plaza is very well lit, full of restaurants and upscaled storefronts and has a ton to offer everyone! The Wholefoods is HUGE and they seem to have a good assortment of stores. We ended up having to make several illegal turns and u-turns and whatnot to go to where we needed which was frustrating but I get that this place gets quite busy so forcing the direction of traffic to flow properly is important. (still not quite sure how to get to the PF Changs upper lot when you are driving up from the big LL Bean boot. We had to quickly do one of those illegal U-turns just to turn into the lot. I am sure there is some backway but who wants to deal with that? Overall, a great fun place with so much to do! Shop, eat & play! read more

I'm a big fan of the open air mall Legacy Place. I can always find parking (either in the open air lots or the garage). There are great restaurants and shops to find nearly every item you need. For work clothes, you'll find me at Neiman Marcis Last Call. For fitness clothes, I choose Athleta or City Sports. It's also an entertainment destination with both a Showcase Cinema & Kings bowling lanes. Come on down and check it out! Consider it a way to celebrate spring after the record setting winter of 2015! read more

It is a happy place. There's nothing especially unique as most of the stores are well-known chains, but it has a good mix for shopping as well as some excellent dining options. The mall is also outdoor, and there are cute little tables out for the summer. They just added free wifi as well. My favorite stores here include the H&M, Gap, Claire's and Victoria's Secret. Good restaurants here are Aquitaine, MET Burger and Legal C Bar. There's also a Tevana, JP Licks and a B Good. Sadly, there's no Starbucks, but Whole Foods has decentish coffee. I am especially impressed with Stil, the yoga studio- sooooo nice! It is pricey, but you really get what you pay for. My only complaint with this place other than the sometimes difficult parking situation is the very loud, bad, ambient music- lame soft rock crap from the late 80s and early 90s. I get weird flash backs to like 1991 walking around listening to this crap. Is this some strategy to discourage teenagers from congregating? Some classical music would serve the same purpose and would be so much better! read more

This place is fantastic, and I love the pretty outside layout of all the stores. I visited it for the first time on a warm, breezy summer evening and I loved the ambiance of the outdoor seating at various restaurants. There's so many affordable shops, which I love. Franchesca's, Sephora, H&M, Urban Outfitters... just to name a few :-) I really like that there's an Urban Outfitters here because I definitely did not enjoy going to their other locations in Cambridge and Boston. This place is great for a boring Saturday afternoon and you've got some cash to throw down. Shopping, Eating, & Entertainment all in one fancy looking strip mall. Looks gorgeous during the winter and holidays and a great place to stroll around in the summer. But you got to throw down the cash to really enjoy it. The theater is trendy but the screens are small, I prefer Randolph. Kings is an expensive bowling alley still good times all around. Shopping and Restaurants are on the higher end. Like another reviewer mentioned it would've been cool if they put something nicer for the pedestrians to enjoy. read more

I love Legacy Place. There are so many stores and I haven't been to most of them yet. It's almost everyrthing you'd want in a mall, and that has a lot of weight because I'm from Jersey. Kings is a lot of fun. We've been to LL Bean a few times. I really want to try Aquitaine. I don't want to devolve into reviewing the actual stores, but it's nearby, it's convenient, not too hard to get in and out of considering how many people are there. It was pretty awesome for Christmas shopping because it really has everything. You may have trouble finding parking in the ground level lots, and so I recommend trying the garage if it's a busy time. read more

Ugh. I'm reviewing an outdoor shopping center. Double Ugh. I just gave it four stars. Yes, parking here can be terrible (hint: after 5:30p, avoid the surface lots and just head to the garage people. Please). Yes, its pretty much all chain stores (its a mall people, no surprises). But 4 stars for sinking this place off Route 1. And providing a little life into a location that was long forgotten. Unbelievably STUPID pretty much sums up Legacy Place Dedham. This is the dumbest layout of stores I have ever seen. We went there on a Saturday night and the parking was insane. Also the stores are all outside. So, If you park close to one store you like you'll STILL have to walk a mile(outside in the cold weather) to other stores. The whole layout is one big CF(figure it out). The parking layout is stupid. I would never EVER go to this place again... even if you paid me. Shop ANYWHERE but here people. read more

Very nice! Legacy Place feels kind of like a town center. The stores have a sidewalk and nice landscaping around them. There is plenty of parking for those who drive, but it's also not bad to get to on the bus. read more

Legacy Place - you can check out any time you want...but you can never leave!... Ever notice how impossible it is to get out of this place? Surely it was designed to entrap you. You thought that was the exit? Hellz no...you're on your way to the above-ground parking lot. Good luck to ya lol!!! Thus, if you can navigate through the catacombs of Legacy, you may find yourself at yet another shopping center. Artfully placed "outside," it's no different from any other mall. It's a mall. It's often crowded. I only come for the Whole Foods...everything else I can get online. :-P I give it 3 stars for generating revenue for my town, but I can't really sing it's praises too much. Sure it's pretty enough. And clean. Oh, and you can find P.F. Changs, Legal Seafoods, a Kings for bowling, and a fancy movie theater. It's a good spot if it's warm out and you just want to stroll around outside and shop. In this regard, it's far superior to an indoor mall. read more

Has one of the best theaters out there, but also one of the busiest. This place has all the mid to mid-upscale stores you could want, and even if you are not shopping, grab a seat at JP LICKS and watch the war of parking spaces go on. Or you could save yourself a headache, hernia, fight, or temper and grab a spot in their free lot. I will warn you even the lot can get full, so just prepare yourself. If its warm, sunny, and a weekend...you better leave an hour to cruise the place. Even so, the stores and design is fantastic, you can people watch while you hope the cars in front of you pull out in time for you to nab it. Yup, its all luck sometimes. read more

An enormous improvement over the dilapidated Showcase Cinema and enormous parking lot that previously stood at this location. It's also nice to see several stores that are welcome additions to Dedham like LL Bean and PF Changs. Sad to see the demise of Borders since Dedham is still lacking a decent book store. The parking lot and semi-double-rotary entrance was clearly designed by monkeys on acid. For the most part, you're better off ignoring the signs that incorrectly say the center lot is full. read more

I am in love for so many reasons: 1. Proximity to my job. Its 3 miles away! Yipee. 2. Great variety. A good mix of high and medium retail shops and food. 3. Whole Foods- the BEST Whole Foods around. Located right off 128/95 this outdoor shopping plaza is great, but my only tip is get there early to get a parking spot. It's kind of like the weekend before Christmas every weekend to get a decent spot. They offer outdoor and garage parking. There are a variety of stores and restaurants to choose from. If you're a Citizens Bank customer there are ATMS sprinkled around the shopping plaza and a full service bank. I love going to the movies there and getting some drinks at Kings to finish my shopping experience. My tip is I like to park near PJ Changs on the top level and just walk down and get some exercise. read more

My daughter and SIL recently moved to an apartment within walking distance from Legacy Place. It can be a pretty congested area esp around the holidays but after walking over and exploring a bit more beyond shake shack ( a personal fav), I've got to say it's a really nice mall with an excellent selection of retail and dining opportunities as well as a great movie theater and bowling alley! The Whole Foods is huge! Dining options range from Shack shack and Yard House to higher end options like Acquitane and a Legal Seafood! Though an outdoor mall in New England during winter isn't my first choice, it's a great layout and an enjoyable shopping option when the weather isn't frigid!
