''Cause this is my legacy This is my legacy, legacy, yeah There's no guarantee" (Eminem) We had a blast visiting the Legacy Place shopping complex. It's right off I-95 with crystal clear signage to get you there quickly. They offer free parking in a huge multi-level parking lot. There are over 80 tenants, a real bounty of clothing and fashion, bars and restaurants, beauty and wellness vendors, specialty stores like Apple and Warby Parker, and amusements like a paint bar, escape room and a movie theater. We spent a few hours here with our grandchildren, enjoyed a great lunch at Legal Seafoods, grabbed drinks at the J.P. Licks ice cream emporium, and went shopping at the Paper Source. We were very impressed with our visit.

    $15 value

purchased (via official Lululemon website) $114 worth of hair accessories for my nieces (3 headbands & 3 hair clips). It was pricey but they like the brand. I was disgusted when I saw the cellophane wrapped items presented like I had ordered from Temu or Alibaba. The combined value looked like it came from a bin at a close out store for $15. Plan on purchasing equivalent items for less $ and better quality to teach them value. Obviously my last purchase from this "trendy" flavor of the moment

What a shock to actually walk thru Legacy and remember what it was not that long ago to now almost a ghost town. Parking was abundant, customers peppered here and there. Was heartbreaking to see. My thought would be to repurpose parking along the circumference to a permanent open air structure with a roof and fans and each restaurant could have a section all adjoining with safe distancing and open air circulation and for colder weather still open air but with heated towers and all weather is protected by its roof. Almost like a food court outside. Bring back your lost customers!

Parking on weekends is ridiculous and it's a prissy area. The stores are always changing and this place just lacks diversity. Over hyped.

At one time this was a pretty servicable shopping location, with requisite anchors like Bradlees, Sears, and Woolworth's. In addition, it had some smaller retailers and a few restaurants and was relatively easy to navigate. While it wasn't too high-end it did the job for people living between Boston and Providence and was enough of a destination to keep people coming back often. That Dedham Mall met a need. Today, though, it's just a sprawling blot on the suburban Boston retail landscape. While once among its stores were some unique offerings today it's just chain stores and that diminishes the selection and choice available to shoppers. Granted, Bradlees and Woolworth's aren't around any more but they new mall has simply brought in other more-of-the-same chain stores to replace them. The "mall," isn't even under one roof any more, as half of it lies under the old structure while the rest (Dick's Sporting Goods, Super Stop & Shop, Starbucks, etc.), is located in separate buildings across the parking lot. No longer can shoppers stay warm and dry while doing all of their errands under one roof. The "mall," isn't a "mall," any more, it's a shopping complex and that takes away some of the convenience that once made the Dedham Mall so attractive. About the best things that can be said for this incarnation of the Dedham Mall are that it's got a ton of parking and that it's easy to reach from Boston or points south. With the dominance of the chains, their homogenized product lines, and the sprawling character of this complex the Dedham Mall has lost a lot of its uniqueness and the shopper-friendly character that once made it a destination. Shopping at the Dedham Mall used to be a pleasure, now it's a chore. Too bad. They really had something here and they've lost it.

That was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be going back to buy a jar to keep at home. A great stop if you want something rich, unique, and worth the calories.

The old version of the mall was good as it grew with time growing up with it. The store just got better and replaced with no better stores and more high-end stores. I think the most prevalent thing I've noticed is how there are a lot of entertainment options now. Dave and Busters was the first to open, followed by Level 99. Now there's also a Puttshack and a Bosee Pickleball club. I think this adds a layer because it turns into "just a mall" to a social gathering spot where you could shop, eat, or have fun. There's something for all ages with this. Now when it comes to the shopping, there's still your average clothing stores, there's beauty and jewelry stores like Sephora and Pandora, and also a Macys if you want a department store. There's also a wing with more high-level luxury stores, like a Zara, Louis Vitton, Tiffany, and David Yurman. I think this area is nice if you want luxury but not to travel into Boston. There's a lot of empty stores in this wing too so hopefully they get filled soon. Food options are good too, they have a food court, Cheesecake Factory, P.f. chang's., California Kitchen pizza, and the food inside of the entertainment places too. Overall this mall has been renovated a lot, and I think for the better. It encompasses a lot and you don't have to come here just to shop, but you can if you'd like. I will say though they have plenty of parking which includes free garages, people are still unkind around the holidays and you might be circling around for a while before you find a spot. Parking is always hard here no matter what and I know people who avoid this mall because of it, which is sad but I get it. I heard if you come on a weekday morning it's better.
