Dedham Plaza is good enough. Doesn't have nearly everything, yet some good finds. Some of the good destinations of this plaza are -- Tuesday Morning -- Hallmark -- Planet Fittness -- Star Market -- Domino's -- Men's Wearhouse -- Payless and at least 10 more shops. Everything else you need is somewhere around this section of the highway. This specific plaza I use mostly as a cut through to get onto the highway or cut over towards Best Buy, since it's so much faster without dealing with the highway traffic. Either the Dedham Mall or Legacy Place has mostly every other shop you would need.... the rest of the average chain retail stores are here, in this two sided plaza (one side Providence Highway and one side Washington Street). Lots of parking and the many stop signs and crosswalks throughout the parking lot help keep people going slow and cautious. Average plaza.... nothing really all that great to drive out of your way for though. 3 stars. read more

At one time this was a pretty servicable shopping location, with requisite anchors like Bradlees, Sears, and Woolworth's. In addition, it had some smaller retailers and a few restaurants and was relatively easy to navigate. While it wasn't too high-end it did the job for people living between Boston and Providence and was enough of a destination to keep people coming back often. That Dedham Mall met a need. Today, though, it's just a sprawling blot on the suburban Boston retail landscape. While once among its stores were some unique offerings today it's just chain stores and that diminishes the selection and choice available to shoppers. Granted, Bradlees and Woolworth's aren't around any more but they new mall has simply brought in other more-of-the-same chain stores to replace them. The "mall," isn't even under one roof any more, as half of it lies under the old structure while the rest (Dick's Sporting Goods, Super Stop & Shop, Starbucks, etc.), is located in separate buildings across the parking lot. No longer can shoppers stay warm and dry while doing all of their errands under one roof. The "mall," isn't a "mall," any more, it's a shopping complex and that takes away some of the convenience that once made the Dedham Mall so attractive. About the best things that can be said for this incarnation of the Dedham Mall are that it's got a ton of parking and that it's easy to reach from Boston or points south. With the dominance of the chains, their homogenized product lines, and the sprawling character of this complex the Dedham Mall has lost a lot of its uniqueness and the shopper-friendly character that once made it a destination. Shopping at the Dedham Mall used to be a pleasure, now it's a chore. Too bad. They really had something here and they've lost it.

Sears is only one of four that are still in operation; however, it looks like a store that is about to shutter its doors. Dick's Sporting Goods is moving in where Nordstroms was. Lord and Taylor are still empty, as is California Pizzeria. That flummoxed me, California Pizzeria. No clue why it closed. Always packed. Reasonable prices. Not bad food either. Perhaps a victim of COVID-19? I don't remember, but I remember it was good for my daughters. Davio's was palace my bride and would go every other month. Or we'd meet my daughters there when they were home from college. Why'd they close? Always busy. No place to get a cup of coffee... even the Starbucks left. SSP has changed in many ways, and not for the better.

That was a pleasant surprise and I will definitely be going back to buy a jar to keep at home. A great stop if you want something rich, unique, and worth the calories.

There's something for all ages with this. Now when it comes to the shopping, there's still your average clothing stores, there's beauty and jewelry stores like Sephora and Pandora, and also a Macys if you want a department store. There's also a wing with more high-level luxury stores, like a Zara, Louis Vitton, Tiffany, and David Yurman. I think this area is nice if you want luxury but not to travel into Boston. There's a lot of empty stores in this wing too so hopefully they get filled soon. Food options are good too, they have a food court, Cheesecake Factory, P.f. chang's., California Kitchen pizza, and the food inside of the entertainment places too. Overall this mall has been renovated a lot, and I think for the better. It encompasses a lot and you don't have to come here just to shop, but you can if you'd like. I will say though they have plenty of parking which includes free garages, people are still unkind around the holidays and you might be circling around for a while before you find a spot. Parking is always hard here no matter what and I know people who avoid this mall because of it, which is sad but I get it. I heard if you come on a weekday morning it's better.

I did like the bread section some locally made in some generic.. they also have foods that are prepackaged. I like the items that were made at the farm. The others were just overpriced generic items. all in all I'd say about 40 to 50% is grown and produced, the rest are just basic generic grocery items with a higher price on them. The space is fabulous very refreshing and comfortable to walk around. the staff always seems nice, polite, and willing to answer questions. About the only thing they don't have in this store is the classic "If we don't have it, you don't…read moreneed it" sign. And maybe they have one of those, but just can't find a place to display it. As neighborhood hardware stores go, this place is the genuine article. They have a wide range of fasteners (sold by the piece, not in poly-bags!), plumbing and electrical items appropriate to the kinds of houses found in the neighborhood, lawn and garden supplies, cleaning supplies, paint and -- most of all -- a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. (Ooops, I almost forgot to mention a handsome and somewhat aloof Maine coon cat named "Hershey" who protects the lawn and bird seed from mice and provides the store with senior management.) I've been involved in construction and renovation work for many years, and this kind of hardware store is getting difficult to find. ( I was working with a carpenter installing a huge Andersen bay window which is supported by internal wire cables. Atlas True Value had large turnbuckles, 10" through bolts and wire rope clamps all in stock. ) As might be expected, they're a little bit more expensive than the big-box Lowes and Home Depot, but I frequently find they're more economical because I can get first-quality items in the quantity I need and I don't have to spend the time and gas money to go miles when I need something. My only complaint is that they shorten their business hours during the summer months and close a little earlier on Sundays.

What made it even worse was that the store had only been open for about 30 minutes, so it's concerning that the restroom was already in that condition. I understand accidents happen, but there should have been staff available, and the restroom should have been checked and cleaned promptly. Definitely not the experience I expected just trying to pick up an online order.

I was really impressed with the level of customer service! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Kara-Beth, who explained the store and the concept to me. It is owned by the same company that owns Wayfair and all the furniture in the store can be delivered to you in a matter of days. Some selections arrive as whole pieces, some are self assembly a la IKEA and you can also request a service that they have in partnership with Angie's (formerly Angie's List) where you can request assembly at the time of delivery. They have a nice selection of mostly mid-century looking and some more modern pieces including a lot of chairs and a few sofas. The pieces are definitely a step up from IKEA in appearance, but not as nice as West Elm, IMO. Most of the chairs I was eyeing are in the $300-$400 range and they had a sale going at the time I visited where there was an extra 15% off. What really impressed me more than the furniture was the thoughtful and personalized service. When I explained where I was looking to set up the chairs I was considering, Kara-Beth explained that it might be wise to consider swivel chairs so that people sitting side by side could orientate to themselves to face each other more comfortably during conversations. I never would have thought to consider it! What a great suggestion. I will definitely consider this store for future furniture purchases and it's so nice to know they can deliver quickly as we had to wait quite a long time to get a sofa from West Elm during peak COVID times.

Traffic for the most part was a bit stressful, moving around and finding a parking spot. Although that's not the main concern, it is well maintained. However, the main signage needs to be addressed on the board, as some big businesses are not named on it, for example, Papa Gino's, as I got lost finding it, along with other names. The only thing inside this nasty place is a decrepit nail salon, a run down oriental carpet dealer and the back entrance of Barnes and Noble and Wines and Things. the rest of this mall is either closed or turned into outwardly facing stores like Kohls (largest Kohls I have ever seen) or a run down nasty Petsmart, Barnes and Noble and Party City. Office Max went out of business and some of the other smaller stores are on their last legs. The Taco Bell and Panera in the parking lot are the only busy things bringing traffic to this dump. Horrible and should be shut down.

The Stallbrook Marketplace is a smaller shopping center filled with about 10 stores and restaurants along Route 126 (Hartford Avenue) in the north section of Bellingham. Restaurants in this complex consist of: McDonald's, Subway (in Walmart), and Moe's. Stores in this complex consist of: Market Basket, Walmart, Staples, Barnes&Noble, GameStop, Douglas Wines & Spirits, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Overall, in the shopping aspect, there really aren't that many great places to go. My favorite spot in this plaza is by far the Barnes&Noble, it would be nice if Market Basket moved to a larger spot and decided not to contribute to making the traffic situation of this plaza a mess. I guess the Walmart is pretty good too..... might be worth checking out. So, yes, this plaza's traffic situation is a complete MESS. No, it may not be as bad as some other shopping centers, but there are tons better (like both the Charles River Centre and Crossroads, both only feet away). WS Development (who owns this complex) decided it would be a good idea to put a 4-way stop at one of the main intersections in the parking lot. This regularly causes HUGE backups to the Hartford Ave light and really doesn't work. Additionally, the lot is ALWAYS full due to Market Basket. If you're going to Staples or Barnes&Noble be prepared to walk pretty far. Same with Walmart.... always busy (it's like these people haven't been there ever before). I, and I'm sure others, prefer the newer way things are developed with parking on the sides of buildings. For now, make sure if you decide to go ANYWHERE in the Stallbrook Marketplace, go on WEEKDAYS! Otherwise, you will be in a traffic mess for no reason. Plus, a lot of the stores in this plaza have other nearby locations if you do need to go on a weekday (Staples in Milford is close and has a HECK of a lot better lot and same with Market Basket in Ashland). Overall, this plaza is really just average in terms of stores, but WAY under-average in terms of development style. It'll be a breath of fresh air once the Shoppes @ Bellingham opens...... 3 stars.

Shopper's World offers you lots of great shops including some off price retailers…read more The parking lot here is always crazy... during Christmas time coming here can be more than a mission! It is located in a great location on Route 9 and offers 6 restaurants ranging from sit down to grab and go and also a Starbucks. Michaels, the Paper Store and B&N all in the same plaza is a win for me!

The window displays are ever changing, and really draw you in. The decor is very hip and reminds me of a NYC boutique. I enjoy shoping here, the stock is well organizied and pleasing to the eye, makes it easy to shop and find really unique pieces. The owner is extremely helpful and willing to order sizes if needed. Check out this gem in West Roxbury for something special or just a really cool sweater for fall. Can't wait to see what is in store for the Holidays, a must see for sure.

I bought some havaiana flip flops and chatted with the owner for about 20 minutes. She is happy to help you find sizes, and order something for you if you need another size/color. Well, the Golden Triangle is the largest shopping zone throughout Massachusetts, and one of the largest throughout New England and the nation. Want more info? Some of the main centers throughout the area are the Natick Mall, Shoppers World, Sherwood Plaza, Cloverleaf Plaza, Framingham Mall, and lots of other shopping centers throughout the area. Basically, if there's ANYTHING in the world you might possibly need, there is AT LEAST one or two places that sell it throughout the Golden Triangle. Between the Natick Mall and Shopper's World, I can promise you will find tons of great shopping spots, and the shopping centers all around as well. The area is so desirable and easy to get to from Rt 128, Rt 9, I-495, Mass Pike and all nearby Routes (such as : Routes 30, 126 and 135). 5 stars, forever!

The website describes this small shopping plaza as transit-oriented and I can understand that as it…read moreis well served by road (the Mass Pike goes right by) and rail (Auburndale commuter rail is nearby). Commonwealth Ave also has excellent bus service. The shopping center is anchored by a large format Star Market but also has one full bank branch, one smaller ATM-only bank branch, a bagel shop, a cleaner and a hair salon. There's plenty of parking. When I was here, the lot was well maintained with no litter visible. There is one entrance and one exit for Commonwealth Ave. It does not have a turn lane for those crossing traffic.
