What can you say about Northgate Shopping Plaza???…read more Being a Revere Guy, Northgate has always been my go to place for shopping. It was there before all the fancy malls were around. So it has a special place in my heart, or it's just a bad habit acquired over the past 35 years?? Either way Northgate has evolved quite a bit since the 80's. Northgate now houses a lot of stores including 2 supermarkets, a gym, McDonalds, Taco Bell, a few anchor stores and much much more. The parking lot is extremely large with more than enough spots for everyone even on the busiest of shopping days. This is a one stop eat, bank and shop stop. I give Northgate Shopping Plaza a Solid 4 Stars

These days, we'll occasionally shop online and pick up our orders at Best Buy, and sometimes we'll stop by Dick's for soccer gear. Other than that, I don't really have much of a reason to come here anymore. I honestly don't know what it would take to bring this mall back to life, but I do think they should consider turning it into an outlet mall! Imagine having our very own Jersey Gardens right here on the North Shore. I feel like that could be such a cool transformation. I'd love to see this place busy and thriving again!

Watching them toast my fresh, buttery garlic roll, crack open the lobster claw, and drizzle that seasoned hot butter over my sandwich was everything and MORE! My mouth is watering just remembering it and writing this review! The money, the customer service, and most importantly, the taste were ALL worth it! Definitely worth the price! When I'm back in the area, I would try another spot just to compare, but I most definitely recommend Oyster Bar Inc. When we were older, we used to hang out out back chug some beers play some music on the boombox and chill. let's just wind it up real fast to modern day Mystic mall it's more like a strip mall with the anchor being Market Basket but there are some other big stores, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, GNC, etc. etc. etc. I actually go to all the stores and all the restaurants it's not the same as back in the day but it's really convenient and believe it or not the prices at all the stores are pretty decent. It's a great mall even though it's all outside now. Worry about parking extensive parking so you might have to walk up along aisle from the other side of the lot, but you'll always have a spot. Lots and lots at this mall it was actually an inside mall anyways check it out. Great place to go.

I'm content with the value provided by the stores, my haircuts don't disappoint for the price I pay (so worth the value), and the Starbucks inside the Target is also not bad. This mall used to be great back in the day before online shopping and some of the other shopping centers in the area, but recently it is beginning to look like a ghost town. Every time we visit, more stores are closed and everything in the mall is falling apart. The main store here is Kohl's, and in comparison to others in the area, it's a joke. The food court is a shell of what it used to be and some of the small mom and pop shops have gone under. The only real restaurant in this mall is Home Town Buffet, and to be honest this is one of the only redeeming factors. In the end, this is a sad mall which used to be better. I hope that at some point they find a way to revive it.
