Some of the good destinations of this plaza are -- Tuesday Morning -- Hallmark -- Planet Fittness -- Star Market -- Domino's -- Men's Wearhouse -- Payless and at least 10 more shops. Everything else you need is somewhere around this section of the highway. This specific plaza I use mostly as a cut through to get onto the highway or cut over towards Best Buy, since it's so much faster without dealing with the highway traffic. Either the Dedham Mall or Legacy Place has mostly every other shop you would need.... the rest of the average chain retail stores are here, in this two sided plaza (one side Providence Highway and one side Washington Street). Lots of parking and the many stop signs and crosswalks throughout the parking lot help keep people going slow and cautious. Average plaza.... nothing really all that great to drive out of your way for though. 3 stars.

First of all I'm going to state that I realize the mall is not responsible for the idiots who drive in and out of their plaza, But you are responsible for your roads and your intersections etc. I am coming and going there at least five to six times a week and every day it's a question of in my going to get rear-ended or driven off the road or driven into or? First problem is you have speed bumps, and I get why you have speed bumps, but put some warning signs that they are ahead. I come into the mall half the time from the side entrance and there's a speed bump right there and I stop and roll over it slowly because I like my car unlike the people who seem to fly over these things. I don't care that's their problem but when I stop and roll over it and someone is flying up behind me and then gets ticked off and flipped me off and blows the horn at me because I actually stop for one of these things it pisses me off put some warning speed bumps ahead sign something like that. Second are stop signs. There's a stop sign when you leave Whole Foods coming out going around the rotary spot, yet if I'm coming down the parking garage there isn't one. Therefore I don't have a stop sign they do they need to stop and yield the right of way which they don't. Tonight I was almost driven into and if I didn't slow down and stop would've been driven into by some idiot who decided that they are better than everyone and just flew through it. No stop or even a slow down. Put one of your speed bumps THERE! If you put one of your speed bumps there it might help the problem then the rotary, which is the next fun part leaving Legacy Place on that Legacy Boulevard as you call it. Now this IS two lanes yes TWO LANES but you'd never know it because there's no lines painted, well if there were at one point they are so faded no one can tell. I can't tell you how many times I've almost been driven off the road by some other dumbass that thinks the road is all theirs. Been the last bit of fun is when you're leaving going onto Route 1 Now at the intersection at the light there's two lanes that merge into route one south Now there are little guidelines for the people coming into the mall to guide the morons who don't know how to drive into the fact that you're coming into two different lanes. So do the same thing when you're leaving. When I leave I am in the right-hand lane going left, there's also a left-hand lane going left. Now for the asshole drivers - if you're in the left hand of the 2 left-hand turning lane and you go around onto Route one south then YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE LEFT HAND LANE. Not the middle and not the right THE LEFT!! Because if I Turn left from the right hand of the two lanes and entering onto Route one south then I'm in the MIDDLE lane. I can't tell you how many times, like tonight, I'm in the right-hand lane of the person left wants to be on the right so they cut right in front of me cut me off and then they are mad. For you Idiots PLAN AHEAD. If you want to be in the middle then get in the RIGHT HAND LANE. Enough ignoring this here, paint the lines. If you can have them coming IN, Then you can certainly paint them going out. Enough said now you know the problem is there you know the things that are wrong so fix them so when I do get rear-ended or hit etc. At least I've documented that this is a problem read more

Best shopping and entertainment destination on the South Shore! My only complaint is that the town and developers didn't do a better job of integrating higher end residential living into the complex. The apartments next door were built cheaply and have no continuity with the shops. This struck me as a huge lost opportunity. If I were the Legacy Place developers I would buy the BJs behind the complex and develop some higher end condos linked to Legacy Place!!! read more

This is hands down the best mall in the area. It is a couple of years old so everything is so new and pretty. I love how I have never seen a mall laid out like this before. This mall has a very West Coast vibe. It feels more like an experience or a destination then your average mall. The selection of entertainment and stores are remarkable. This is a great mall to go to for shopping, fun or just walking around! read more

Not what we expected. Seemed like a restaurant with an identity crisis: trendy? Upscale? Comfort? Who knows...we sure didn't know. Food was overpriced for the portions received. The sole was mushy and the spinach was rubbery and tasted burnt. Probably will not come back here: too many real seafood restaurants in the area to try. The bar looks cool though. read more

the mall (inside) itself really is sad indeed. the last time I went in was a couple years back. i…read morewas curious so I cut through from kohls and did a quick stroll to barnes & noble and back. there were able 5 shoppers in my sight total. in there, i found a dollar store, payless shoes (or equivalent), a cheap jewelry/accessories store (like claire's), a tobacco/lottery/snacks type of corner stand, maybe a haircut or nail place, among a couple other random things. i did remember secretly rejoicing at the fact that the tobacco store stocks cigars, not that i ever went back to get any. i'm giving the place 4 stars not because of the above, but because i'm counting the "outer rim" businesses as part of the mall (they do situate on the premise), also the fact that the management does make an effort to revive the place despite current sadness: jo-ann fabric and petsmart opened this past year, texas roadhouse and "something" fitness joined in a couple years back, and a few more smaller establishments (a battery place, a froyo place) popped up as well. there are also small but helpful changes on the outer roadways made recently to ease/de-tangle mall traffic. numerous crosswalks were added around the lot. they also invited Santa over during the holiday season! i never saw him myself but couldn't help but see the gigantic signs hung around outside, even along route 1. so yeah, management does still care, and that's very commendable in the days and times we live in. the only "complaint" left to make, since ever, is really the fact that the mall/parking lot is not accessible to/from the mcdonald's side. meaning, one can only go in/out by coney street, or route 1 south (from north you'll have to wait at that intersection light, then turn into coney or make a u-ie). small inconvenience, but nothing one can really do about it. parking lot is huge enough to support the patronage though -- mostly to the few brand-name stores (kohls, b&n, old navy, bath & body works, office max, party city, gym, etc) and restaurants (chili's, panera, taco bell, five guys, panda express, texas roadhouse, etc) on the outer rim. the multiple entry/exit points along route 1 s really makes sense too. there was never a problem going in and out, even on weekends and black friday, no matter how long your stay is. overall, this mall is very beneficial to locals and has a reason to stay. i have lived around the area for years and this is my go-to place when a need pops up: from food, books, gifts, supplies, to quick/specific/holiday shopping, i can find it here. this is NOT the type of place one should be looking to make a whole-day family outing out of, nor is this the place to satisfies all needs (though it still kinda does, in smaller scale). for those needs, there are legacy/patriots/providence place(s) at your service. yeah the lack of foot traffic inside the mall is really depressing, but that's for the store owners to worry about, not consumers. i probably overlooked the little play area (with climb-y, crawl-y structures, coin-op cars/horsies) inside last time i was in there. in-laws recently took my child there and he had a blast! my kid was not being trampled to death by tens of other kids, and he could play as long as he wanted without the crowd or elevated noise level which one should come to expect on any playground at peak hours. fewer users also (hopefully) means, relatively cleaner structures. now who is to say there is no upside for a deserted mall? :)

The shopping center includes many other places surrounding the complex including a Marshalls, Stop&Shop, 99 Restaurant and many other spots, making this area a good destination. There is also Lowe's, Michaels, and Staples right down the road too. This shopping center includes more of the "higher end" type places, but also regular national retailers. It's honestly a good combination that can be attractive to all shoppers. Talbots, CVS, Old Navy, Ulta, and Bed Bath & Beyond just to name a few. Many restaurants surround the complex including Wahlburger's, AlmaNove, Panera, Menchie's (my personal favorite), BeerWorks and more. Two grocery stores, Trader Joe's and The Fresh Market are also both inside the complex. A movie theatre, Patriot Cinema 6 is also inside the complex. Not the most options around; however, a good assortment of places to go. Overall, I'd definitely come back here, it would just be better if all the places to shop in Hingham were closer together for convenience (Derby Street and here); however, I guess I shouldn't complain since that could cause traffic nightmares. Overall, it's nice and deserves a sold 3 stars.

The Whole Foods Market is definitely a huge treat for me to walk around then hit it last to find something to cook or snack or enjoy their most tastefully and expertly decorated baked items along with lots of breads to choose from. So Derby Street Shops is like a one stop shopping place. I like that and go home with everything I needed and wanted.

Two major entrances, one of which has a traffic light. You could also sneak out by the fast food place or out the back past Shaw's. It is a short walk to the T station but don't be tempted to park here for the T. They have signs posted that you'll be towed.
