Sorry, I disagree with the posters who said the layout should be different, "like Wrentham." That's totally wrong. I drove in and was immediately wowed. It's obvious that the designers intended this place to be a social center, not a maze of lonely stores where you have your target and you do a quick in and out like Wrentham. I was impressed, I felt like I was in a city center, it was like a night life atmosphere, but out in the suburbs where it is accessible to me. read more

I love it here! So many great shops and restaurants. The Luxe Theater experience is a must. I'm here for something or other at least every few weeks. Restaurants will be reviewed separately. Try the candy store, if for nothing more than a look at the wall to wall bins. The only knock you could put on this place is since everything is outdoors it's not particularly weather friendly, but we're hearty Bostonians, we deal with it! read more

We really love this mall. Nice stores, theater, place to eat and bowling place. We never had a problem to park in the parking building.

Don't bother fighting for a parking spot on a weekend. its easier to just park in the garage and you wont have someone put dents in your door. The options for everything in this plaza are great though. Everything is clean and well kept. read more

Parking set up is not my favorite. But it's a nice little mall/shopping center. Good variety of stores.

As a designer, this place gives me the the frights. It has quite possibly the worst parking/vehicular flow I have ever encountered. The perimeter and garage parking is fine, but if one enters via the main entrance off Rt. 1, you end up in a series of one-way loops in the center of the stores that cross each other in incomprehensible ways. It's a total hazard for pedestrians and desperately needs better signage. The fact that they need parking lot attendants to direct traffic speaks volumes. On the plus side, it IS a nice selection of stores and I am very glad to have a Whole Paycheck near where I live, but take my advice and enter from the Commercial Way entrance and park in one of the side lots or the garage. read more

Legacy Place was certainly a great addition to this area off of rt 1. Legacy Place is nicely constructed and well decorated. The shopping center boasts a great collection and variety of shops and restaurants from upscale dining to affordable meals, and what mall would be complete without an Apple store, Victoria Secret and Sephora? The center also is home to some small unique shops such as Francesca's Collection Boutique, the Paper Source, Blue Mercury (NEW beauty addition) and the Paper Source. Legacy Place has something for everyone! It is a one stop shop for groceries, gifts, an outfit for a night on the town, casual shopping, beauty services, the list goes on and on! I mainly go for the theater, and I really enjoy the Lux Level. 21+, drinks served at your seat, nice wide leather recliners. It is the best way to watch a movie. read more

I am not a fan. The majority of the parking is to one side. Its a very busy place, so during the Holidays its a pain to get in and out of. Lots of nice restaurants. Its nice. Even though my office is right next door, I tend to avoid it. read more

I also love Legacy Place. Make sure you come early because it gets crowded. The parking garage also gets filled up quick too! There are a ton of places to shop and eat. It is so possible to get all your shopping done in this plaza because they have everything! read more

I like it here. Stores, restaurants, bowling, movies. But we mainly just ogle the Kayaks at LLBean and then drop $400 on groceries. The fact that it's outside without a huge ugly parking lot in the middle reminds me of a British high street. Takes some of the sting out of suburbia. read more

Once everything is open (still a lot of restaurants closed) I think this will be agreat place to eat, shop and have fun. There is a Kings there and a movie theater. It's a great concept of everything all in one, in a place where there is not a whole lot else going on. read more

Althought the parking in the lot is a nightmare, I found that the gargage always had pleanty of convenient spots open. Everytime I come here I find something new to add to my collections. Finally, they have opened a high end jewelry store. They needed that. The Diamond Guild has a wide selection of designer pieces as well as their own creations. read more

This place is something else, It is a different kind of mall. The quality of stores, restaurants and entertainment venues is first class but the prices are too high for anyone much less for the frugal new englander. Legacy place has many cons as well, the eye sore parking smack in the middle of the whole complex is a stupid, stupid idea. This is my main dissapointment with the whole place. I am not sure if this mall is sustainable in this economy, I simply didn't see many people spending money there. read more

This another solid shopping addition to the Metro Boston area. Like Patriot Place, Wayside Commons and Derby Street, Legacy Place is a great option. They have a solid collection of stores, The Gap, Apple Store, Levis, LL Bean just to name a few. They also have some good dining options as well, P.F. Changs and Met Bar are both great. The downfall, as has been mentioned, is the traffic flow. They have nice big garages but for those that decide they don't want to park there, they have a circular mess to deal with. I went here during the Christmas season and it was not too bad. I think sometimes people over play things. This place is easy to get to, right on Rt. 1 and right next to 95/128. read more

I was really glad they opened up a shopping ctr here. This area needed it which is evident by the hellish parking situation. Yeah parking on the weekend is close to impossible but I do like the stores there (ie. LLBean, Whole Foods, Williams Sonoma, Paper Store, LOFT, etc) so I give it 4 stars! read more

An iffy crowd hangs around on late Saturday afternoon---the only time I'm there. Lots of kids arrive on bus and walk from1A. It wasn't always like this but getting more trashy. read more

Cannot believe the shopping selection at Legacy Place! they have everything you might need or want as a guy or girl. They even recently opened a whole foods market where you can grab lunch or grocery shop. I think the best feature is the free parking garage! Easy access with multiple exits that allow you to where you want to get to while avoiding the elements! read more

just visited here today on my way home from a (painful) trip to ikea- dropped a 60+ lb. dresser on my foot- OUCH. anyway, the place was glorious today as it was nice and warm. great shops- anthro, apple, borders, urban outfitters (this one was tiny and not well-stocked at all), a massive and impressive movie theater, and tons of really nice restaurants (met bar and grill, legal sea foods, j.p. licks, this one place, "kings," i believe it's called, that's a bowling alley/restaurant, etc., etc.). i didn't have much time there but will definitely be back. only downside would be visiting in the winter as it's an outdoor venue (as one rater put it, it's like shopping centers in california- if only we had the same weather). read more

Not a big fan of parking here but that being said, I really love the shops! It's a nice change of pace from the South Shore Plaza.

A good selection of stores (Anthropologie, H&M, Banana Republic) and good eats (Whole Foods, Met Bar, Legal Sea Foods). Plus a movie theater and a bowling alley. Great for people who live in the burbs but want to shop in city stores. My big gripe about the place, though, is the layout. I wanted it to feel less like a mall and more like a town square. The parking all in the middle and the roads throughout make it less attractive and appealing. Not a great destination shopping trip. read more

I go here all the time with my friends and it's really fun. We get dropped off so there's not trouble parking. However, when I do have to park when I'm going with my family it's chaotic and there never seems to be a space. The stores are fun and I especially love the Sephora. I like it because it is so close and convenient. There isn't anything too spectacular and it's just like Ridgehill in Yonkers only smaller. read more

Legacy Place is the brand new life style center in Dedham. It has a mix of stores, restaurants, Kings, bowling alley, Whole Foods supermarket, and LL Bean. Wifey and I could not wait for this place to open. It had a lot of stores we liked. The Whole Foods is amazing. I really only have 2 complaints. The first is when you drive down Enterprise Way after you pass the employee parking lot. Which needs a nice sign by the way. The only reason I know this is I saw a cardboard sign in the ground. There is some sort of gravel and sand company. this business is just an eye sore for the whole development. Some one needs to offer this business a bunch of money to leave. My suggestion is turn into residential and office buildings. Or what I think should really happen is turn into another parking. this leads to my other major complaint about this development. I do not like how there is so much parking in the middle of all the stores. This way you could turn the inner parking lots into green space. When the developers were touting this place they said it would be like a homage to the old fashioned town center. Unfortunately, they missed the mark. This is just a luxury strip mall. I envision something like Commonwealth Ave Mall in Back Bay. for those of you not familiar with that. It is just a nice stretch of land with benches and fountains. It is all part of the the Boston Common. DO not get me wrong I really like Legacy Place. I think it will be boom to the area for a very, very long time. I will probably spend thousands of dollars through the years at this place. So, you can see how much I like what they did. However, I feel they slight missed hitting a home run on this place. I hope fellow amateur architects like my self agree with me. On thing I enjoy about Patriot Place is how you walk around to all the stores. You do that here but I do not understand why the sidewalks are not raised. Believe it or not they need to make improvements, so you do not feel like you are at a strip mall. I hope W/S development reads this and take notes. Spend the extra dough. Do not cut corners. Make the place feel less like a parking with awesome stores surrounding it. turn into a true Legacy in the shopping experience. One thing I love about Legacy place is you do not feel like you are Dedham. read more

I enjoy shopping at Legacy Place, but the parking can be down right dangerous! It feels as if the parking lot(s) is too small to accommodate the numerous stores. The store variety is spectacular....some are overpriced...but it's nice to have such variety in a town such as Dedham. read more

I was in the garage today around lunch and was having car problems. My friend was going to follow me to a car dealership. There was a car in front of me that was turning the same way I was. I stopped to let him go first since I did not want to be separated from my friend, but he was insisting that I go first to the point that he would not move and instead got out of his car. When I saw that he was a security guard, I tried to explain what was going on but he began to yell at me very rudely. This was very shocking and a bit frightening. I did not expect to be treated so rudely by someone who should be offering help instead. I really liked going here, but if this is how their security is going to treat people, I will never go here again. read more

This mall has a great variety of shops and restaurants. The movie theater here is clean and has great service.

Just had the best burger to have crossed these and graced this tounge! Brie cheese, carmalized onions, and a fried egg! Service rocked too. Go to the "burger bar" to avoid the wait. There are always servers in front of ya to take any order at any time. Classy decor also. read more

I just started going here and really like the selection of stores and the ambiance. Giggle (a boutique baby store) is just the cutest! They have a good selection of clothing stores with the Gap and Ann Taylor Loft. I'm also pretty impressed with the selection of restaurants. My reason for writing this review though is the amazing service that I got at the New Balance store. I have small feet (size 5 1/2) and City Sports did not have a single pair of sneakers in my size. I noticed the NB store and not only did they have four pairs of sneakers in my size but the salesman laced up and used a shoe horn to get every pair of sneakers on my feet. I can't even remember the last time that I got that kind of personalized service at a shoe store! read more

it took me a while to figure out how to get in the parking lot, but now i'm an old pro and i love legacy! it was great at christmas time for shopping and the movie theatre is the best! it has a reasonable selection of chain stores and a few interesting creative/crafty shops. it's the best legals around (the chestnut hill one has seriously gone downhill!) and the yardhouse is a fun place to grab a beer. read more
